I have to give them credit where credit is due. The nocubes mod as it has been updated has been significantly improving. I particularly like how the trees look currently. Still though, if it weren't for those tall grass blocks floating in mid-air I'd definitely mess around with the mod more.

World gen mods that don't add new blocks are so good. Especially that first nether mod in the video. Best kind of mods in my opinion
I've been playing vanilla for so long that any biome gen mods with new blocks are good
I see what you mean, my problem with these mods is though, that you cant really play normal survival with them, since there are blocks in places where they shouldnt be, making other biomes unnecessary, for example the red sand in the nether mod you mentioned, making the mesa basically unnecessary. I like myself a good mix of new and old blocks ito world generation.
I prefer new blocks. Minecraft by it self is incredibly boring after 9 or so years of playing XDDDD
Would love to see a showcase on the domestication innovation, I think its really good and I’m having a blast with it at the moment. Love the vid btw!
They need to make jumping boats a vanilla feature. Wow, moving while in an inventory menu should be a vanilla feature too! This was a fantastic mod showcase.

Man, really excited to see all these old mods getting updated for 1.18. Looking like it's gonna be the new modding standard akin to 1.12.2 or 1.7.10.
Nah 1.16 is the new 1.12 for mods. But it's still nice to see all these mods for the latest version because I always play the latest update
Agreed, there will always be mods made for some older versions, but the update to worldgen in 1.18 is huge.
It's not just the aestetic part either. The height limit increase and biome generation changes are really quite big changes people are wanting to take advantage of so we're going to see a lot of people deciding it to be worth the effort to try and update mods to a new version now.
Not all, of course, but it's finally a big enough incentive to move a bunch that haven't in a while.

If mods can get as awesome as they were in the 1.7 days, with the amazing terrain and caves of 1.18, I might not have enough room on my computer

These are very good ideas with the boss in the cave 2:25 and the MCA Reborn 3:41 for the next updates I like it
The Enlightened End mod's Malachite ore actually makes some sense, because real malachite is a very Copper-heavy mineral, it could be like end-corrupted copper.
Make more videos of the mods that work perfectly with other mod

I really like mca! I wish mca had their own structure though and didn't replace villagers entirely (at least with natural spawning).

@@notnotch4654 well yea ofc but things like style, presentation, editing etc rlly makes these vids entertaining. these mods r showcased differently most of the time even if theyre the same/similar mods and vid length is both long and short enough to stay interested

I think you should make a video on the Modpack Crucial 2. It's a very well done vanilla+ pack.
Fresh animations got updated. Also, I think you should check out the essential mod if you haven't already. It allows you to invite your friends to your singleplayer world like bedrock edition.

JumpyBoats sounds like it would also be very useful with an issue I had when moving villagers around...getting stuck by path blocks.

Hey, you really need to check out the Essentials mod. It adds an in-game friends list, friend chat, inviting friends to game without servers or lan, and letting you join servers your friends are on

Minecraft definitely needs WAY more bosses and reason to explore, like more randomly generated structures and stuff. It could also use more animals.
Just a suggestion, can you make a fabric vanilla+ modpack which includes sodium, since a lot of viewers have pretty bad computers and fabric runs wayyy better than forge, thanks!

I don't remember which mod it is, but there's one that adds that plant. The achievement for killing it the first time is Jennifer Dumped Me

Please check out Immersive Weathering. That mod is not only going places, but has so much hard work put into it. Everything there is amazing, from icicles forming in the cold, grass growing, moss spreading if unchecked, and even new lava + water + nearby block combos. Please, give it a try. Ordana and Keybounce (the creators) worked SO hard on it.

Seriously, I tried to make a video on mods and resource packs and it takes an eternity to find perfect things and you're just rocking it.

the mod that hides curses from armor can be great for a russian roulette in hardcore, whoever gets unlucky gets the curse of binding
the no cubes mod reminds me of when i played surivivalcraft on my phone.
These mods are helpful, some nostalgic, others even game changing; too bad I’m too cheap to buy “Java Edition”.

From 1.17 for now, I've still found the issue using forge with mods that encountered Java runtime incompatiple. I've loaded the latest Java runtime and do anything about launcher configuration but it's still the same, can't run into game with mods.
InvMove is great. I get to practice my looting strafes without playing Rust.

I hope schematica comes back for 1.18, need a way to auto print builds in multiplayer. Litematica doesn't have that, only instant build in singleplayer...

Please put L_Ender's Cataclysm in your next 1.18 mod vid. It's a great mod and it's about to reach 1 million downloads.
for now i’m a no no-cubes, as it is right now this mod is clunky and has to improve a lot before i will consider it playable. if your eyes can’t digest cubes but want an experience close to minecraft, you can play rust, ark or other games, but minecraft is minecraft because of cube philosophy and no other game can replicate the feel without being based on cubes
I would not recommend invmove in modpacks, because it will interfere with other mods. For example when you are searching something in me system, and type e, you quit the UI
