another thing I would add to what Joe Rogan said about "stop looking at your past failures." I'd also add don't dwell on your successes either. We all know that one guy in his 30s who still brags about his highschool football career. I feel sorry for that guy because he is done with life and his life never really started.
“Look around at all the people who didn’t do it and look at the misery that they’re in and learn that you don’t want to be like them.” I never had an idol before. It’s so hard to find one these days but Joe Rogan is inspirational, wise and daring. He is my first claimed idol.
Did you ever hear his other quote (which I love and have experienced) - "You don't truly appreciate safety unless you've been punched in the face" - Joe Rogan
For me,the stuff he says isn't the motivating thing. Lots of people know how to talk. What inspires me about Joe Rogan is just how much stuff he does and how much energy he does. He works for UFC and knows a lot of MMA. He does stand up comedy and works on it constantly. On top of all that he does his podcast 2,3 sometiems even 4 times per week. He's excited about life and just interested in a lot of different things. He's constantly moving but also knows how to stop for a moment and take it all in.
This was an awesome watch. I can't thank you enough for all the great help you are making Evan. I personally Owe you my power and joy. I am a single dad with a boy who is autistic and also has cancer and if it wasn't because of your work I wouldn't be the great me that I am. THANK YOU EVEN!!!!!
Delsyn Jober Well life is tough but love is stronger than life. My power comes from love. I barely sleep 3-4 hrs a day but am pumped with energy. When your goal is bigger than your problem then the problem has to surrender to your will.
I'm at the stuck in video game stage. It is not fun. That's what has brought me to this channel. 42, wife, kid, broke with dreams. I've realized you must drop everything that has happened to you, make a fucking decision and do everything possible to make it happen. No more excuses. Stop overthinking, reading 100 books a month. Get it done. Peace...."the future millionaire"
***** My ex is a middle school English teacher, and every once in a while her class has a "Movie Day". We are still friends and talk to each other once or twice per month. If it's ok with you, the next time we talk I would like to suggest to her that she show a few of your videos during her next movie day. If she chooses to take my advice, I will ask her to get some feedback from her students, after they watch the videos. After she tells me how your videos were received by the students, I'll send you a message, stating what her students thought of the videos.
Glad that despite growing without a father, you keep the positive attitude and chose to find someone you can look up to you and influence you to be a better you. All the best to you Baby Kay! #BTA339 Shine

"Do what you really want to do. If someone else is doing it, you can too." Great line as I am battling with the choice between passion and the safe road.
Kole Fisher it's your choice at the end of the day I'm in the same situation. I feel like I have no choice but to follow my passion because if I imagine being 60 years old and realising the reason I didn't follow my passion was because of fear it would hurt me. It seems common in older people that they view fear differently they don't feel threatened by it as they did when they were younger its simply something their mind created but right now I would suggest you keep listening and reading about these successful people and motivational videos, keep learning and growing i hope you make the right choice for you. Hope this helped
Stevelebowski Menjivar thank you for the response. I agree with you. I can't imagine being on my death bed with the regret of never going after my dream. At the same time battling your families disbelief and "guidance" is tough.
I hope you'll figure out what really is best for you Kole. Things can be tough but as Stevelebowski said, at the end of the day, it is your life and it is your choice. Always #Believe in yourself and keep taking action even one small step at a time to achieve your goals/dreams. :) #BTA339 Shine
Just watching the intro to this video I already knew this would be my uiltimate favorite. E, you're such a blessing and thank you for making my day just that much better. #love
Joe Rogan made me realize that the only thing stopping me is fear. Everything in my life that I fear is in the direction to my path to success, but I did not realize that until now. Thank you!

listening to Rogans podcast really opened my eyes and changed my opinion on the way I felt about lots of things.. I can truly say it helped me to be a little better..
I am just above homelessness money wise. I feel shitty about it because a lot of these mistakes I have made. I have faced adversity in the past differently but now I am in this "funk" Joe speaks of.
Nice to see videos like this done on people like Joe. He has strong opinions on topics which other people don't have the courage to discuss... something this world needs more of. I frequently listen to his podcast and it opens my eyes to many things I wasn't aware of. I actually was led here from his podcast.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts jesse. :) Glad to know that his podcast have been of help to you and you are able to come here through it. Welcome to the channel and to #BelieveNation. I hope you will find more videos here that will be helpful to you. #BTA352 Shine
Joe has been on a journey, he's definetly not done yet as you can see he still has to train his third eye on a few neuroses. You can see it in his podcasts, sometimes I don't think he fully understands or fully believes some of the content he talks about. And I think this causes him to be neurotic because sometimes, getting yourself involved with complicated stuff and not knowing really what you are talking about can be difficult and Joe has a lot of weight on his shoulders being an international guru of sorts. It's easy to forget you are human too and when your on the stage practically with millions tuning in, I can imagine it's hard to be completely open and express yourself freely. Or admit you are abit out of your depth. He does fight companions. Discussing several topics one after the other. Has his finger in many pies. I don't think anyone is ever at total peace and you can see Joe isn't sometimes. Must how busy he keeps himself or feels he has to keep himself busy to live a productive life. It's nothing personal but you can see it and it's the sign of a human being not a robot. It's not about shutting the world out out there or obtaining personal biases and destructive thought patterns and lifestyle choices. And in the meantime you are bound to develop certain characteristics and mannerisms that then become your mission to understand and rid them. Has Joe faced all his demons? I'd say so but you can still see he's doing a lot of soul searching. I can imagine it's hard to remain perfectly balanced when your life consisted of performing for the cameras and the only break you get is through comedy or talking to people (which he does in the form of a podcast). He has his space to vent and be himself but he also has a very stressful job that is operated through the media and we all know what the media lifestyle is about. Fancy lights. Makeup. Teleprompters. Glitz and glamour. It must be one big game for Joe. I think he's a very cool dude but you can tell he's not done yet. And it almost looks like he's on a personal quest to form the greatest version of himself and along with that, the greatest message he can give himself. And we may just here it sooner than we think and no doubt, when he utters those words it will become a soundbite and a part of history for forever more. I think Joe will find the most peace when he retires and he's no longer doing things around his obligations but instead, the obligations of life circle around him. Ie. When he really does have time to spend as long as possible in the Amazon on an ayahuasca experience or perhaps hunting in a really decent area and having plenty of time to mess around with having to attend a press conference. I know it's his job but if he really wants to find everything he has to spend time away. And we never really see him do that. Having said that, he's a gift that keeps on giving and people like Joe are usually the most entertaining because unlike some who develop earlier and have a more profound cemented idea of the world, people like Joe are usually floating and slowly land when they find something worth holding onto. And because of that, he's a constant stream of new ideas and new experiences. Some people have fluid personalities whilst others have more cemented ones. If you watch the podcast with Joe and Sam Harris - you can see the two differing personalities. It's just how people work differently. Thanks for the video! Joe has some valid points.
sumdumding you are the one under the illusion my friend. Joe is experiencing this world in his way and learning truths that resonate with him. nobody knows everything and everything alive must die my friend perfection is an utter illusion but it is very possible to be the best version of yourself.
8:00 Yes, that is exactly what I experience. I can't get any pleasure from entertainment or relaxin unless I feel like I've done good work and I am having a very hard time find work that feels like work that is fulfilling and like I'm accomplishing things.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts MrApplewine. I hope you'll eventually find that kind of work that makes you feel fulfilled and have purpose. All the best! Always #Believe. :) #BTA502 Shine

That's amazing! Glad to hear that, Seth. Very glad that you're feeling motivated! :) Thank you for the support and thanks for watching. Stay strong, keep it up! #Believe #BTA452 Luka
Thank you! I completely agree. I really enjoyed this video, but I am surprised how much the censoring bothered me. I AM OFFENDED> TRIGGERED>CAPS LOCK!!!! But seriously, I agree with you
We do that in all our videos, if you want to hear it, please kindly check out the sources, the links are in the description. Thanks for watching. #BTA362 Shine
@@EvanCarmichael i like the way you cut those bad words in your videos, i normally watch your videos relaxed with my teen sons unlike other vids i can't, i dont wanna raise my kids who swears all times...my culture in Tanzania don't allow those words to be used in public at all.
I would say my number 1 would be kindness. I believe if you’re kind, you’ll be happy. If you’re happy, then you’ll be kind! When you love another and you’re happy, what can go wrong?!
Explore difficult tasks. Time to do more door-to-door B2B and set up health talks right on the spot whenever I'm not seeing patients and bring in as many "yes" people as possible!
'Push forward' loved that one. I know some people just like that. Loved all the rest also. Didn't know Rogan, but he got a point in all ten rules of success
I WISH this had not been censored. His language is appropriate to the message, and is sincere, not for shock. He is a great communicator. Put up a warning for kiddies, no problem. I appreciate that.
Sorry but it's a matter of choice for Evan. If you like, please kindly check out the sources, the links are in the description box. All the best! Much love. #Believe :) #BTA1677 Veljko
i love how well spoken Joe Rogan is. he has a really uncanny ability to explain intangible things that we al feel but don't really know how to put into words. helps people make sense of a lot of things.
Could you provide the which episode is it of each clip? Cuz the link of your source doesn’t work anymore since Joe Rogan has moved to Spotify and I want to check out the full conversation
I noticed I lacked motivation for the longest time. motivation has to first be stated, then if u had very little discipline like me, you have to implement that statement into a daily routine and make it a habit. bc motivation can only take you so far. it's discipline and the habit of working hard that will get you to where you want to be. once you get some momentum don't stop. keep going. the journey can take u way beyond what u once thought was possible.
Trance Vocals I guess I did. but it was acute depression from when my father was murdered, then time passes and it became more of a default mode of being. at some point it becomes a habit and habits are hard to break. wether good or bad.
I'm so glad I took the time to watch this. Tremendous thanks Evan Carmichael. Joe Rogan is one of my hero's, he has such a profound perspective on life and you captured it so beautifully. This should be a REQUIRED viewing.
Best Advice; 1.Do what you are passionate about. 2.Check list 1-10. 3.Be kind and good to others. 4.This is your experience, "God Said". What you focus on comes to you. "Good Or Bad". 5.Phycial health is key. 6.Turn to love vs meanness. 7.Visualize already having your goal for 17 seconds or more each day. 8."Good Feelings" Move you in the correct direction. 9.Find the "Motivation" within yourself. 10.Time management is also key to success. There's more, so read every book to provide the knowledge you may need to get you where you want to be or go!
‘The person who is able to look at themselves the closest is going to get the more rational results’. I like that. You can delve in a find the faults you’d like to fix, then get a rational method to start fixing them.

All of his talks is amazing, but I think no 8 hit me most. That is were I am currently in life. I don't want to get stuck and I am trying to move to the next level of my professional self.
We do that in all of our videos so thanks for understanding. If you are interested, you could check out the sources, the links are in the description. Thanks for watching. #BTA370 Shine

I know many. lived 2 years in General santos right down the street from PACMAN GYM on the other side of SM mall... good guy.. his moms a total TRIP! shes out of her mind but a real sweetie non the less
Go into nature was the most interesting especially living in the city kinda of hard to do that especially when the park aren't like truly nature only. #BTA22
Being out in nature, whether it was out in the middle of the ocean alone with friends snorkeling, or maybe in a forest on a mountain, it helped me see that this world doesn't give a fuck. I don't mean that in a bad way at all, I just mean to say the true reality, that we're on a rock in space and nature just does its thing, it does so regardless of us. That's the truth, it will be here long after I'm gone. So the stress I feel, the thoughts that bother me, it's all transient. It will end, and the world will go on, and I'll wink out of existence as simply as I came in. If I want something better or different, fuck it, go do it, I won't be here long at all and if I fail or succeed it only matters to me, the world really doesn't care, it's just earth and the universe. If I'm going to do anything, I should do it, try it, what do I really have to lose that I'm not guaranteed to lose anyway? This awesome place is just powerful opportunity that is up to me to decide to harness. I love the way it does it's thing so slowly, literally infinite, with me getting the gift of a lifetime to ride along for a while. Gotta make the most of it!
Sorry, I don't know the background music as it's already part of the source video. The source video link is in the description, you might want to check it out. Thanks for watching. #BTA362 Shine
Can you do one on Patrice O'Neal please? He's inspired me in life and I feel like he has wise words to share on success. Dylan's interview is a good place to start and Marc Marin's interview is great too! I know it's annoying when someone says do this! But I really just wanna see this happen man.
When people say Joe Rogan is no good because he gets a few facts wrong, they need to come back and watch this video. The good this man does far outweighs the bad.
Joe Rogan I respect the open mindedness on what you discuss. I too have experienced being stuck. More than once. Currently working to better my future with fire and passion, two things I didn't have before. keep being the mentor you probably didn't realize you are.
Thank you very much for sharing your thoughts Nick. Awesome to know that you consider Joe as a mentor. :) All the best to you! Always #Believe. #BTA362 Shine
Joe carries, implicitly, so much of our current cultural confusions about social, political, and religious matters... BUT, his drive, encourgement, and candor are absolutely refreshing and infectious.
#9 I was born with the feeling he's talking about. I've hiked up a mountain before and when I got to the top I was like... "meh" #3 Is my favorite as well. It's the thing I see holding the most people back.
love this video, we have been a fan of Joe for a while! He has reminded me it's sometimes better to know what you don't want, because usually, knowing what you do want will change daily..

Im still just mainly surprised joe is married.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts sumdumding. :) #BTA356 Shine
Wow, nice analysis.
sumdumding you are the one under the illusion my friend. Joe is experiencing this world in his way and learning truths that resonate with him. nobody knows everything and everything alive must die my friend perfection is an utter illusion but it is very possible to be the best version of yourself.
You don’t truly enjoy relaxation unless you’ve worked hard. Another thing I like what said find a Career you really want to do

This is great! Thank you so much Evan!
Thank you for posting this video. I'm now inspired to do better. I ripped up my cigarettes and threw them away. I'm going to start a good diet, and I'm going to work towards my emotional, mental, and spiritual health. Thank you very much. Keep up the great work!
That's amazing! Glad to hear that, Seth. Very glad that you're feeling motivated! :) Thank you for the support and thanks for watching. Stay strong, keep it up! #Believe #BTA452 Luka

Thanks for the suggestion. I will pass it on to #BelieveTeam. #BTA339 Shine
Yes!
Thank you, but is there an uncensored version anywhere?
Really wish language wasn't edited in this. Ruins the art of his words.
Agree!! I see you beat me to it.

John Doe I hate you
'Push forward' loved that one. I know some people just like that. Loved all the rest also. Didn't know Rogan, but he got a point in all ten rules of success
Find something that you're passionate about, and pursue it with extreme prejudice.

"if someone else is doing it, you can do it"
Totally agree with that Dwayne. :) Thanks for watching! #BTA354 Shine
If someone else is doing it, you should try it.
You don't know until you try. A bunch of times, a bunch of ways.
Difficult moments are what makes a person, and builds character. Joe Rogan slays

This was so great, thanks for putting it together!
Shut up meg
Could you provide the which episode is it of each clip?
Cuz the link of your source doesn’t work anymore since Joe Rogan has moved to Spotify and I want to check out the full conversation

I noticed I lacked motivation for the longest time. motivation has to first be stated, then if u had very little discipline like me, you have to implement that statement into a daily routine and make it a habit. bc motivation can only take you so far. it's discipline and the habit of working hard that will get you to where you want to be. once you get some momentum don't stop. keep going. the journey can take u way beyond what u once thought was possible.
Do you have depression? It can be a motivation killer.
Trance Vocals I guess I did. but it was acute depression from when my father was murdered, then time passes and it became more of a default mode of being. at some point it becomes a habit and habits are hard to break. wether good or bad.
Oh fuck sorry for bringing it up dude I can't even begin to understand.
Trance Vocals thanks brother. it's ok. I've grieved and gotten through it ✊
But do you need motivation for discipline and habit?
I'm so glad I took the time to watch this. Tremendous thanks Evan Carmichael. Joe Rogan is one of my hero's, he has such a profound perspective on life and you captured it so beautifully. This should be a REQUIRED viewing.
Thank you very much for taking the time to watch the video Michel. :) Glad you liked it. #BelieveNation #BTA355 Shine
POWERFUL JOE ROGAN

Best Advice;
1.Do what you are passionate about.
May I also suggest a Duncan Trussell Top 10?
"Don't try to be comfortable " in #4. I LOVED that!

Go into nature was the most interesting especially living in the city kinda of hard to do that especially when the park aren't like truly nature only. #BTA22
I agree. :) But also check 3rd rule of success, mate. :)
I'm not making in excuse I mean I'll do it but it had me thinking if i went to a real forest or something like that how would it affect me that's all
I agree with that Berthony...I guess that's why more people take vacations to commune with nature. :) #BTA339 Shine

Thank you Evan! Love the video and the shout out!!!

Can you do one on Patrice O'Neal please? He's inspired me in life and I feel like he has wise words to share on success. Dylan's interview is a good place to start and Marc Marin's interview is great too! I know it's annoying when someone says do this! But I really just wanna see this happen man.
Thanks for the suggestion. I will pass it on to #BelieveTeam. #BTA339 Shine
When people say Joe Rogan is no good because he gets a few facts wrong, they need to come back and watch this video. The good this man does far outweighs the bad.
Sweet! Thanks for watching. 💛😊 #Believe - Dondon
