I like your product! But my problem is, since I have a smart TV I am rarely using any external devices connected via Hdmi, because everything is already build in. From Satellite TV to every major Streaming Service, it is all right on there and I don't feel like switching to an external source, just to have Ambilight... I am really looking for a solution, that can work with build in sources... I know, that it is unlike that something like this will exist at some point (except an external Camera...), but I am not hopeless! (I have a Panasonic with "My Home Screen" BTW)
Although I believe built-in apps do the job, you'll notice a big improvement with a dedicated streaming device. I used to use a Firestick 4k but recently switched over to Apple tv 4k, being an android user, and it is so much better. The latency/lag is pretty much not existent with an apple tv 4k. If you're a home theater enthusiast, most people would say a nvidia shield is better, but I'm only looking to stream, and an Apple TV 4k does an amazing job.
so if i connect the device with hdmi cable to tv the leds will not be synchronized? do i have to use an external device for streaming?
@@alessandrocecchin05 Yes you have to use an external streaming device. There is no way to get a video signal out of the TV. (Mainly for copyright reasons I guess)

Looks like a good product. 3 questions.
1. Is eARC Support a WIP?
2. The use of a HDMI 2.1 Switch to feed the Fancy LEDs Sync Box Input is supported? I.e. 4 in to 1?
3. Is it HDCP 2.3 Compliant/Compatible?
Thank you! To answer your questions:
1. eARC not supported, only ARC
2. HDMI switchers can be used, make sure it's a good quality one though (HDCP compliance etc)
3. Yes HDCP 2.2/2.3 compliant depending on the model

Sadly not need to be an external source. I’ve got mine in connected to my ps5 so I just watch Netflix and Disney through that to get it to work.

@@Chaoticls I’ve not used it with my pc but but I can’t see why it wouldn’t work. Obv there might be a small delay issue but depends how into your frames you are. As it would go from your pc to the sync box back to your monitor.
Edit: thought I would ask add, I still love this box 5 months later 😄😄

It would be cool it didn't need permanent WiFi or Bluetooth connection... other than that it's interesting, it needs more than HDMI support tho, there are many devices that come with DP now.

No, does not work with direct signal from the TV, those boxes only work with the input you give from other devices. Chromecast, apple tv, playstation, xbox, these lights do NOT work with the main input from your TV, as your TV does NOT provide input into the sync box! I personally do not care, as I don't use any of the TV apps I have, everything I need is on my chromecast (Streaming from PC), and PS5 (all other streaming / gaming services). I'd recommend going this route, too.

Is it compatible with build in Smart tv to work with RUclips, Netflix and the same services?
Very interesting. I have seen other versions that use a camera mounted on top of the tv and tries to mimic what the camera picks up, so its not very accurate. Then there's the very good but expensive philips version. This looks like a great alternative however I have a couple of concerns. As the hdmi is now connecting through this box and is not direct to the tv. Will the fancy led box allow for accurate 100% HDR pass through. Also can you still run at 120htz ???
There are HDMI 2.0 and 2.1 versions, both support 120Hz but at their respective resolutions. HDR pass-through is 99% accurate.

Yes they will reflect, you can adjust the brightness

No because the tv doesn’t have an output port so the box can’t receive the hdmi signal.

Yes but the output of the GPU need to go in the input and the other HDMI to the tv

Only apps on the HDMI device like Netflix/prime, TVs do not produce output data.

Yes Fancy Neon stirp will sync wireless, no cable between the two devices, only their respective power cords of course.

Awesome seen other versions, but the main problem there is that streamingservices block machines like this because they think you are recording the screen. Is this the same with this the device? And other question why would this need my location?
No issue there, it is HDCP compliant allowing protecting media like streaming services to pass through. Location services are used to create automation for our smart lighting, i.e leaving and returning to your home, among other weather based functions, all in-line with Apples required privacy policy.

The sync box includes 1x HDMI cable (sync box to TV). We suggest using the original PS5 HDM cable (PS5 to sync box).

I had the same issue, you have to wait a bit while the app stalls to a next screen where it says restart or something and will walk you through 3 steps: 1st one you restart the thing second

Yes but you need an HDMI output and you need the Sync box everywhere you go with the laptop.

What about EARC. If you're streaming from a tv. So you run a hdmi out of eARC to the void and then what? You can't go back into another HDMI as you'll switch from streaming to hdmi input

It is optional, however, if you would like to setup the device across multiple mobile devices, it is necessary. It also saves the data if you delete the app, so you don’t have to connect Alex or Google multiple times. Overall, using an account is the better option, not sure why you wouldn’t set up an account 👌
