    Home run hire. You bring in a guy who the 2 previous DC’s learned under and a guy who will allow coach Moore to focus almost completely on running the offense

      Home run hire????? No way, this is an OK hire at best. I'm VERY concerned about the future, especially since we're so miserably lagging in NIL.

    Perfect hire to retain scheme, give Moore an experienced mentor and attract any recruits with NFL dreams. All good,as long as Moore places a young successor to learn from Wink as long as he stays at UM.

    Wait a minute. Last week the world was ending when Minter left. I said he is not the only coach in the entire universe that can do the job. People, give Sherrone Moore a chance to do his job and quit second-guessing what he's doing. The guy is smart, he knows how to do the job of coaching Michigan - he apprenticed with Jim Harbaugh.

      @otisjohnjr.3023 that the complete opposite especially in 25 they'll be losing all those players on the defense. You mentioned nil mich doesn't spend like osu,Oregon,Georgia etc so that's going to be the Achilles of the program that will actually hurt.

    As long as he isnt Don Brown 2.0. He meeds to evolve blitzing, mask schemes better but could be great fit. Serves as strong coach on that side of ball who can train up some other you g talented coaches.

    • @dzelpwr
      @dzelpwr 6 месяцев назад

      He's who Minter and Mike Mac base their entire schemes on.
      He disguises blitzes very well. You never know from where it might come from. Oddball CB blitz, which linebackers are going to drop back into coverage after showing blitz at the line. A spy mid field who might drop back into coverage depending on what the QB is doing right after the snap.
      Don Brown's defense was to almost always blitz, and hope that the blitz gets home before all the backfield players in man coverage have a ball thrown their way.
      Wink, MacDonald and Minter do more cover 3 than anything, but when they first line up, it's hard to tell what they're going to do. They look like they're going to full cover 0 more often than not at the line, but then as soon as the ball snaps, half the guys drop back into coverage, and it's not the same group of guys dropping back every time. Totally different from what DB does.

Hardbau could not recruit the top 20 players in the country. That's what we need to catch Georgia. Go Blue!!
