After she got past the difficulty of her patriarchal family trying to sabotage her career and she was able to move away from these type of silly movies with Govinda, she gave some moving, brilliant and mesmerizing performances of any other in films like Zubeida, Shakti etc. Zubeida being one of the finest performances in Indian cinema, that performance stays with you years later. She retired soon after. She did some great dancing also.
Yes.. Zubeida stars Manoj Bajpayee and Rekha too. It's a fantastic movie. Another art, not-so-popular Manoj Bajpayee movie is Pinjar with Urmila Matondkar. Both films are a must watch!
