Thank you for that excellent feedback, much appreciated. How to create characters for CTA with continuous outlines is a question that gets asked a lot, particularly by newer users. I've covered this technique briefly in my blog a couple of years back but this is the first time I've shown how to put it into practice in CTA.

Glad I could help. It's not an immediately obvious solution. Initially I actually stumbled across this technique in a tutorial for MOHO a few years back and adapted it for Cartoon Animator. My own solution was the tapered lines (number 2 in the video) that still have gaps at the extremes of movement.

Including the circles within your character template is actually the better way to go because you can more easily line all the images up with the bone points. I didn't cover that because then I would've had to include how to add accessories into your template as part of the lesson.
