And quite possibly the best feedback I have ever received on anything Ive ever done. Thank you so much. Maddie and I had a blast making this video together!
Thanks so much. I will show Maddie your comment and I know you will make her day! Shes a tonne of fun to work with. Its hard getting the job done because we do is laugh!
Thans so much for watching and thanks for the compliments. Maddie and I had the time of our lives making this, and we love playing with Motion Pilot together and just making up fun animations.
That is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO good to hear. Honestly, you can be up and running with Motion Pilot within minutes. It makes 2D animation easier than ever before.
Thanks man. I love all the post production work that goes in to an animation. Finding the right music and sound effects for a project. Its the icing on the cake. As for your personal project, heres my best tip. Take one hour out of each day and start. Just one hour. But commit to that. Make yourself find that one hour whether you think you can or not. That way you treat your personal, fun job, like a real job with a deadline. And once you get those first couple of hours in, you'll realise how much fun youre having and you'll easily find and extra hour here and there. Best of luck with your project. I look forward to seeing it when its complete!
Thank you sir! We had a BLAST making this. You can tell because we ended up filimg over three hours of fottage to make a 14 minute video, because we kept goofing off so much!
Unfortunately they quit developing it for Mac. I had to install Parallels just for the reason of Cartoon Animator. And it actually works fine. However, native Mac software would be much better. Not sure why Reallusion stopped developing for Mac. All serious animation software work on both windows and Mac. Maybe Gary could elaborate on this?
Nothing to elaborate on, my friend. Reallusion made the decision to release CTA5 only for Windows. But as you say, it is possible to run it on Mac. I have never been a Mac user, but I have artivles on how to do this if anyone is interested.
A lot of Mac come with both Mac OS and Windows simply install on the Windows side of the mac. If your mac didn't come with both os by default go to a genius bar and ask them to install Windows 10 for you. Don't forget to buy a Windows 10 liscence key. Just like that you can use Reallusion on your Mac devices such as Macbook, Mac mini and any other Mac device you may want Reallusion on.
*Feature Request (Please forward this idea to whoever can implement it):* *1.* Allow motion pilot to be used through an Xbox controller. This is an even more fun way to animate because you can assign animations to different button presses and different joystick degrees. There can be a sneaking tiptoe animation for moving the joystick lightly, A walking animation when the joystick is moved slightly more, A jogging animation when the joystick is moved slightly more, And a sprinting animation. The right joystick can rotate the 3D perspective. You can assign a jump Animation to the A button. You can assign different facial expressions or hand gesture animations to the other buttons, And this would potentially skip having to open up different editors while animating, making animation much more swift! This would actually enhance and speed up the workflow. *2.* There needs to be a way to assign one's own custom hotkeys in cartoon animator. This will also help with speeding up a persons workflow
This is a great tutorial :) though I wish they still had Mac support cause I’d totally get it! It has a lot of great features that CTA4 simply don’t have. I did try using parallels but it ran pretty slow on my brand new Mac 😢 My due to my internet not being great? Idk. Anyways I’m general, I love Reallusion’s softwares!
It was sad that CTA was not able to continue for Mac users. However, I can hoenstly say that had the decision gone the other way and CTA was now only avaialble on Mac, I would have a Mc by now. For me, its more about the software I love than the machine I use it on.
Thank you so much. That right there is an XP-Pen 24Pro and I cannot recommend it highly enough. I use it all day every day. Its sturdy and responsive and reliable. If you decide to buy an XP-Pen tablet, trust me when I say get the biggest you can afford. Drawing on this screen is amazing. It just feels like drawing on a normal drawing board.
Shes a giant goofball. The hardest thing about doing jobs like this with Maddie is that all we do is laugh. To make this one video we filmed three and a half hours of video! Most of it was just us goofing off.
Thats the great thing about Motion Pilot. It really is the easiest tool Reallusion has ever added to Cartoon Animator. You can be up and running in seconds!
What software is 'better' is very limited thinking. Its a personal opinion only, which comes down to which software you prefer for yourself. The best software is the software which does the job you want to do, fast, efficiently and enjoyably. For me, that happens to be Cartoon Animator. If you prefer other software, perhaps your time would be better spent on their RUclips channel, and leave others to CTA.
Without any doubt, the best tutorial video Reallusion have ever made. Absolutely brilliant. Bravo to the both of you 👏👏👏👏👏
And quite possibly the best feedback I have ever received on anything Ive ever done. Thank you so much. Maddie and I had a blast making this video together!
Garry Pye and his daughter make a great team. love the tutorial they do together. I think they will go far
Thanks so much. I will show Maddie your comment and I know you will make her day! Shes a tonne of fun to work with. Its hard getting the job done because we do is laugh!
Very good functionality. Thanks for sharing your knowlege to us about this impressive Motion Pilot tool in CA 5.2
My pleausre. I have to say, the more I work with Motion Pilot, the more possibilities I am finding for it.
I am so impressed. Wow, this is a genius. I hope you make more demos of cartoon animations. Congratulations Maddison and Gary, a perfect tandem.
Thans so much for watching and thanks for the compliments. Maddie and I had the time of our lives making this, and we love playing with Motion Pilot together and just making up fun animations.
This is a great easy to use tutorial and shows CTA is great for all ages.
Thank you!
This video made Motion Pilot less intimidating. Thanks!
That is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO good to hear. Honestly, you can be up and running with Motion Pilot within minutes. It makes 2D animation easier than ever before.
Well done! I love the sound effects for the Octopus movement :-D You've inspired me to get busy on a personal project.

Is this software available for Apple Computers yet?

@@GarryPyeoh please do share as I’d be interested in knowing! 😅
In the final version of the video, the diver is blowing bubbles. How did you accomplish that.

Motion Pilot and many more features are all included with the software. They are not paid extras or add-ons.
"I've got this hilarious problem - I keep falling for every beautiful girl I see, and guess what? You're definitely on that list!"😁

she elbowed him like a kid. Lol.
I kept wondering why is this young lady looking like a kiddo...
and then she elbowed to prove it.

Reallusion is always making advances with Cartoon Animator and there are more planned for the future, so who knows.
Moho is better
