It was sweet of gura to collab with fauna before she left. I know gura really hates streaming, and it shows she cares a lot about fauna if she's willing to set aside her hatred for her own fanbase to do a stream.
i feel so bad for gura. one of her recent member streams she was near tears about the issues she's been having with management cancelling stuff she's been working on for years. now one of her oshi's is leaving too. i'm sure this last collab was really bitter sweet for gura cause you know she loves fauna a lot.
@@KB_13247 pretty much doing the same things that caused nijisanji to lose their talent. I'm kind of shocked Gura hasn't announced plans to leave herself. My only guess is the sheer size of her YT channel + memberships makes the income stream too crazy to give up because she doesn't have to even stream to make money. So my guess is she's just doing her own thing and seeing how long Cover will put up with it.
@@demonicspire1345 i think that's a bit of a stretch. yes niji also cancelled people's projects. but they did it much more often and on top of that there was a more toxic and unsupportive culture. at least hololive has a supportive culture where the vtubers aren't out to backstab each other and try to steal each other's sponsorships. my guess is now that cover is public and much bigger they're cancelling riskier projects, or "advertiser unfriendly" projects. or i guess in this case sponsorship unfriendly projects. obviously i'm just guessing here, you may be right. but i really doubt someone as huge as gura wouldn't just leave if cover was pulling a niji. if cover was doing a niji and gura left, she'd blow up bigger than doki did.
