Most of the pendants you get for free are boring. They purposefully made the cool ones paid. So no she's not ruining anything for herself. Capcom is the one at fault

Wrong, all pendant dlc is unobtainable without purchase.
Monster hunter is one of the only games that literally doesn't sell cosmetics for gear or weapons at all. It has to be earned

All the cool pendants are DLC exclusive. The craftable and free pendants are nothing compared to the paid ones, not to mention much fewer.
