From basics to shooting things to becoming a ball to running rainbows to a haduken machine gun and back to basics... BIT.TRIP never ceases to amaze me greatily.
After watching everything prior, this video made me cry. Seriously, like, streaks of tears as the perceived emotions all come together. It's quite the beautiful story you assembled, and props to Gaijin for striking emotional chords with simple graphical concepts.
there are no words. This was simply beautiful. This entire series is just amazing. when i started watching, i had no idea that there would be a deep meaning behind it all. it gets me a little choked up, tbh. but oh man. i'm looking forward to purchasing bit. trip. saga when it comes out!
Stage 1: Beats move at constant speeds here (yellow and cyan). Stage 2: Speed changing beats (some yellow in Core) are introduced along with the Series powerup. Stage 3: "AVOID" is introduced along with Subtract (white in Void). Stage 4: Wavy beats (indigo in Beat, teal/green in Core) are introduced along with Add. Stage 5: Bouncing beats (orange) are introduced along with Divide. Stage 6: Spinning beats (pink) are introduced. Add reappears. Stage 7: Beats that change their location (teal in Beat, some yellow in Core) are introduced. Subtract reappears.
I have watched through your entire playthrough, paid attention to every word you wrote...and when Epiphany started, and you brought it full circle. and so deep...I cried. Your words, and the music together...I know this must be totally strange to read that you brought someone to tears just by playing a video game series, and putting your own "spin" on the backstory...but it was magical and touching...and Deep! Thank you for playing this game...and making the music even more beautiful with your words. I'm gonna go now and stop praising you creepily. Also I subscribed due to this playthrough...so enjoy a new subber!
+Bryan McKinstry I know right! not only was the music and the words that made me cried, but the nostalgia that came with it drove me to make the ohio river! (Also I looked up what catharsis is, you basicly had a catharsis urself bryan!... It means to express emotions and relieve yourself from them)
And when I had thought the series couldn't possibly become any more amazing, there was meta, and Multi+ (I loved how while all other modes become increasingly more and more complex, the last two are just... simple and beautiful, for the lack of better words). And then, there was Pong Arkanoid.
This game is beautiful. Simply, beautiful. The entire series is genius, brilliant, but THIS ONE, MAN. This one. This is the epitome of what a good ending to a series should be.
@AmbisagrusSA, I'm in love with your depiction of Commander Video, and I thought Bit.Trip Runner was hard enough. Unless that is actually the game depicting those thoughts.
the levels of sound u achieve as you hit the bits, it represents to me practicing an instrument until u are AMAZED at what you can do u do better as you progress! thats something cool to practice the game it goes up a few sound levels and you feel that that was you because you practiced the game to the point where the sound is PERFECT! like 5:20 that to me represents the fact that you accomplashed something BIG something amazing that your proud of and to me this game is more than song and beats it represents the practice of starting and soon becoming a master at the art of music. i dont commentate in such detail on games at ALL but this is different the way it means something to me and the representation clearly hidden amazes me and if you find me to be a pro commentator im not actually im an 12 year old KID who loves music and games! this game fused em i gave u guys all my reasons for loving this game its not 1 reason its many! i hope you like my thread down here! BYE! i may upload a video of me commenting the game in audio! if you wanna see that subscribe and u can get it in ur sub box! or if its already out check it!
@@TheGoldNShadow unfortunately it was discontinued, cannot be played anymore If your device can even run it without crashing! The closest you get to touchscreen BEAT and FLUX is the 3ds collection, titled Bit.Trip Saga, where you can use the bottom screen for touch controls, which is basically required because the control stick is sensitive as hell
lucky for you, i made a video the other day with this exact purpose! I can't link to it in the comments (even in my own videos, what.) but it's titled A BIT.TRIP Retrospective so you should be able to find it easily
May I ask, when I playing this myself, the same boss was at normal, probably as you played it, but it was impossible to me to even make a DENT, so I was asking, how did you do it so easily??

Padraig Kelley no u
6:51-6:55 those notes in Meta are just sooooooooo good.
My theory is that this is a rhythm based defibrillator. If you perfect it, CV comes back along with the lessons (bonuses) he learned.
So he dies but is revived if you perfect the level?

It's like Guitar Hero gone 8 bit and with good songs
There should be a Bit. Trip Movie.......
Yeah. Not live action though but instead animated. It should have every game combined into a movie.
I want to make a petition for that
@@TheGoldNShadow we should write a screenplay for it when we have time

Meta is CV's ultimate form? Uh, Violins and gameboys anybody?
That gameboy sound is the multiplier going up.
Congrats! You reached Meta on your first try!
(I didn't reach Meta until my fourty-sixth attempt on Epiphany. No lie.)

I love the Bit.Trip Games! They are so fun and challenging. I have only just completed epiphany on flux
It would be awesome to have a friend like CV...
Yea i know, right? If only the BIT.RAINBOW had one more color...
I call the rainbow "The spectrum"

3:21 i just realized this is a reference to Beat
Imagine playing BIT.TRIP BEAT/FLUX with an Atari-style paddle.
it would probably feel very right
I still want to find a way to get the really old iPhone/iPod version.

i love your play style. near perfect. also great round
I love these amazing games... and you're pretty pro as well :p
Absolutely beatiful

I'm suspecting after Runner2 drops they'll do FATE and FLUX.
Stage 4 reminds me of Christmas
06:42 - Here my life comes simply...
this guy made me subscribe with his skill/awsomeness ^.^
You wanna know what’s wrong? This game went down in too much flames. Now choice provisions is secretly discontinued
Hyper: Saxsophone
Mega: Drum
Super: Xilophone
Ultra: Flaut
Extra: Piano
Giga: Guitar
Meta: Trumpet
THIS IS SOO TRIPY
Awesome game
nah the cutscenes explicitly say that it takes place between runner and fate
how do you know all of this stuff????
how
May I ask, when I playing this myself, the same boss was at normal, probably as you played it, but it was impossible to me to even make a DENT, so I was asking, how did you do it so easily??
Were you playing on Steam?
I played it on steam personally and had the same issue
I figured it out, there's a guide on the steam to explain how to beat it. It involves with going into your files, though.
Yeah, the game is broken on steam, glad you figured it out though

17:13 to 17:20 is that beat.
Can anyone tell me how this series goes from start to finish...
commander video is born and then dies
@snowyarticuno Bonus points! 10,000 points multiplied by whatever your multiplier is. It gets to half a million on Meta, it's great.
NetHEr ➡ HYPER ➡ *MEGA* ➡ **SUPER** ➡ ***ULTRA*** ➡ ****EXTRA**** ➡ *****GIGA***** ➡ ******META******
you forgot Multi+ at the end
That's technically not a mode.
Is this just bit trip beat, flipped?
@SKN2K Nope. If it's in that pixelly font like the titles and level names and modes and that kind of stuff are, it's the game. Otherwise, it's me.
I wish it would get a pc release :)
i am doing a ride through in mine craft where it has all games of the series and sadly its on flux, which means the end
@MysteryNebula01 they do look dull... since its the last from the bit trip series
AHHHHHHHHHHHH Pretentious overload!
same thing just on the left
So does this text automatically shown or is this in game?
It's not in-game, he just edited in there himself.
hm - interesting, pretty well put if you ask me
Yeah, I kind of wished that those text in this video was in-game.
too hard btw

10,000*500=5,000,000
But I made it
What is nether like
A different background animation with a static effect and no music.
Meta mmm meta ,you no meaning tera? beacuse meta is not a word that exsist 😕
Look it up in the dictionary, it's there.
tera isn't a word, meta is
Its not that easy
