The Thermal Suite is a passage toward ultimate relaxation. Based on the concept of Turkish baths, where friends and family spent the day relaxing, the heat and cleansing therapies of our Thermal Suite experience include heated ceramic lounge chairs, a Thalasso Therapy Pool, hot tubs, steam room, sauna, and tropical rain showers. Different herbal steam and sauna grottos cleanse the body with gentle heat while a therapeutic heated-water pool bubbling effect will wash away stiff and sore joints. Take a dip in the Vitality Pool or enjoy a warm waterfall cascading onto your shoulders. Heated chaise lounges and tropical shower features make this both a relaxing and cleansing experience.

Mandara's Hot Stone Heaven
This indulgent and therapeutic massage uses the power of touch and aroma with heated Basalt stones to soothe away stiff and sore muscles. In Polynesia it's believed that the river rocks harness the healing power of the water that flows over them. As your therapist massages your body with the stones, you'll believe they're right.
Elemis Aroma Spa Seaweed Massage
Combining the power of the ocean with the healing effects of aromatherapy, this treatment is excellent for soothing aches and pains, fibromyalgia, arthritis and sore muscles. A heated seaweed mask containing a warming blend of essential oils is applied to your body before you're cocooned in a comforting foil wrap. As you relax, you'll receive a scalp and foot massage, followed by your choice of a half or full body massage.

I love the Mandara spa!
Especially on the Encore!
It's a must for me on any NCL cruise!
We traveled on NCL and used the Therma Spa before but 1/2 of the Therma spa was co-ed and 1/2 was not.On Encore, are all the treatment areas (hot tub, salt, cold and warm room) co-ed?
is staying in an aft balcony cabin below the mandara spa on the encore a bad idea?
In May they were offered as a part of the Thermal package. We have an Aft balcony but not a Spa cabin.

Paying for the Thermal Spa for the week, once again had them available last May. I won't plan on them this trip. Sad, as we really liked them and was a nice perk :(

Hey, is there a sauna or steam room you can use for free? We usually go in it after the gym on other cruises
On the Encore, I don't believe there was a complimentary sauna in the locker rooms. But we have filmed so many ships since then I'm not 100% on that.
Robes seem to be missing? We had robes available on the Breakaway.
We used ours from the room, but you do get them when you have a spa treatment.

Are you about 6'6? That is great that you "fit" in all the Spa and gym areas! I am 6'2 so I will have no problem!
