Welcome to a place where the ocean meets the healing waters within - the breathtaking new Mandara Spa. From multiple detoxifying saunas to state-of-the-art pools to a two-story waterfall, the experience on Norwegian Prima will awaken every sense.
The Thermal Suite is a passage toward ultimate relaxation. Based on the concept of Turkish baths, where friends and family spent the day relaxing, the heat and cleansing therapies of our Thermal Suite experience include heated ceramic lounge chairs, a Thalasso Therapy Pool, hot tubs, steam room, sauna, and tropical rain showers. Different herbal steam and sauna grottos cleanse the body with gentle heat while a therapeutic heated-water pool bubbling effect will wash away stiff and sore joints. Take a dip in the Vitality Pool or enjoy a warm waterfall cascading onto your shoulders. Heated chaise lounges and tropical shower features make this both a relaxing and cleansing experience.

Mandara's Hot Stone Heaven
This indulgent and therapeutic massage uses the power of touch and aroma with heated Basalt stones to soothe away stiff and sore muscles. In Polynesia it's believed that the river rocks harness the healing power of the water that flows over them. As your therapist massages your body with the stones, you'll believe they're right.
Elemis Aroma Spa Seaweed Massage
Combining the power of the ocean with the healing effects of aromatherapy, this treatment is excellent for soothing aches and pains, fibromyalgia, arthritis and sore muscles. A heated seaweed mask containing a warming blend of essential oils is applied to your body before you're cocooned in a comforting foil wrap. As you relax, you'll receive a scalp and foot massage, followed by your choice of a half or full body massage.

This looks like the most soothing, well-appointed NCL thermal suite yet but I really like the layout on the Encore. Looking forward to experiencing it on the Viva to compare for myself.
Does that mean that the prima is the first ncl ship that comes without a jacuzzi? As for the saunas and pools they look to be in narrow spaces, doesn't give that a claustrophobic feeling?

Hoping to get a day pass...not full week for 339 won't use everyday
I just inquired with NCL, and the day pass is $99 (Nov 2023)
I don’t know what they charge but I know I’ve only been on the bliss twice and I have never I seen men getting a shave in their face wrapped with a hot towel but I have never ever ever seen any women getting their hair done or a pedicure or anything like that so I don’t know what they’re charging on the ship but it must be pretty expensive if no one goes in just to get maybe a wash and a style for maybe one night that they’re going out to dinner interesting to know the prices which I’m going on another cruise in Panama Canal on the Norwegian Bliss in January so I think I’ll check that out but most women have already done their manicure and their pedicures and their toenails they’ve already done that before they go on the cruise because personally I would prefer spending my time in the spa relaxing instead of getting my toes done or my finger nails done. But I know the men enjoy the shave with the face wrap
