This room looks great, love the colour scheme and the tiles in the bathroom, for some reason !! I think the first painting might look a little sinister at night , in the shadows , might be my weird imagination?! lol 😆 Lovely room overall .

I had the same experience with the phones on the Koningsdam. Those days I still worked at the biggest Dutch telecom company and my workspace had the exact same phones as on the ship. Had the same feeling at entering our cabin!

Great tour. I’ve stayed in a mini suite on the Norwegian Getaway and loved the room. Loads off space as we were a family off 4 doing a back to back cruise and we emptied 4 suitcases with room to spare.

Thanks for the tour, thinking of Encore for later in the year. Seems the difference is the bathroom from a regular balcony, so not sure whether it is worth the extra cost. Looks a great cabin!
Can I add a small thought when you have the balcony door open and someone comes in from the inside door you have the wind tunnel effect.. and for all the guys you have to be careful when you turn on the bottom water jets..

Great video! I thought the mini suite looked very narrow. Pleased to see that they're trying to be more environmentally friendly. Both cabins looked similar apart from the bigger bathroom so not sure if it would be worth paying for a mini suite unless you get other perks.
You mentioned booking the entertainment. I'd assumed it would be free but I'm now wondering if you have to pay a supplement.
Hey Angela! 😁❤️ The entertainment in the theatre is free but you do have to make sure you book it as it books up really fast. Luckily the shows are usually on more than one night so it's okay 😁❤️

I was just on the Encore feb 25 - mar 3rd I was on deck 9 in 9800min a Club balcony Suite. Our shower had a tub which would have been nice but in 6’1” and my head was hitting the ceiling when I was in the shower. Ply’s it didn’t have those jets in my shower. Is this a different class room or was this a club balcony suite? I didn’t have any coffee maker either.. thanks in advance.
Anyone know if the mattresses in the standard balcony rooms (BB) on the Encore are soft? Basically, do the give a little???

It’s all new and wonderful but I feel it’s rather cramped because it’s so narrow , bed looks wonderful as does the shower though and all the fancy lights

Emma, I am not sure why you are not pointing this out more forcefully, but the new kinds of mini-suites that NCL and others have been building are *rip-offs.* They are intended to make people feel like they are getting a bigger room and balcony when they get neither of those things. Instead, they are just getting a bigger bathroom for $200 or so a person. Why would you throw hundreds of dollars at NCL just for a bigger bathroom? How much time to you intend to spend in it? You need to point out that these mini-suites are *scams* that get you next to nothing in return. What a pitiful little balcony for a mini-suite! Get a regular balcony room and spend the difference on food upgrades and drinks!
Hey Chrissy, I think 'rip off' is a subjective term. I personally wouldn't pay more for a mini suite over a standard balcony (as I say on my website) but lots view it as worth it. Norwegian wouldn't charge the prices they do if people weren't willing to pay the price 😊❤️

Of course it is just my opinion, but this seems like just another egregious way for NCL to squeeze money out of people, while getting little in return. Essentially, all the company had to do is to taper the hallways in a bit to accommodate the larger bathrooms while not widening the actual cabin over the balcony cabins one bit. So they were able to build just as many staterooms as they would have if they had all been balcony cabins, but now can charge much more money for what they call "mini-suites" over and over again. How obscene is it that people have to squeeze by the bed in a mini-suite? The fact that people book this anyway is because they didn't do their homework. And if all of us publicize that they are not actually getting a larger stateroom for all that extra money, people will stop booking them and the cruise line will have to start building honest mini-suite cabins again. Thank you for your help in this.
@@chrissygerwitz520 I agree, 100% rip off, even the haven penthouse which was going for 16k for a 7 days on the encore was really a glorified room with a balcony, I have no idea how they justify the price or who was crazy to pay it.
I guess it all depends on how much more they cost. In my case for a 12 day cruise it was 200$ more for two of us and it seemed worth it to me. I like having a larger bathroom (especially a bigger shower) and a bit more square footage

Mini suite balcony cabins on Norwegian Encore are bigger than standard balcony cabins and also have much bigger bathrooms. Within the bathroom there is a larger shower and also a double sink. The design and layout of the cabins is almost identical.

Tiny mini suite. Our balcony cabin was bigger on Symphony of the Seas except for the bathroom.
