    Surprising that you didn't mention Rebounding as an optional exercise, since you covered it in previous videos.
    Anyway, thanks for the tips.

    My concern is that fall thru the cracks eventually ends in becoming a fatality. Which I believe is preventable by taking steps to care for ourselves. Keep your focus on your health becaus if u take your eyes off of you trip up in life. And who cares like u do???You know what am talking about.
    Bless you ❤ Kelly you are a precious resource. Today is my birthday and you are my happy bday surprise!

    I’m struggling with this issue. I’m a cancer survivor patient and have been to multiple doctors seeking help and you have shown me the direction to start helping myself to recovery. Many cancer patients struggle with this and survivors. It’s horrible that most of us fall through the cracks of the health care system after cancer. Because insurance companies have way to much control over our health.
    May God Bless you for the path you have chosen to help us ❤🙏

    I feel that my lymphatic system is so sluggish. I have had acne on my chest for 4 years !! Nothing has helped. I feel hopeless !! Recently I started dry brushing, even got a vibration plate. I started taking herbal supplements for lymphatic system. At times it will get better and almost completely go away, then it comes back 10 times worse !!! Idk what to do anymore. Came across your massage video, I will start incorporating it into my routine every day to see if it helps

    I have lymphoedema on my lower flanks due to tissue loss from my lower back/above buttock area following an accident. I have a vac dressing still covering my back wound which is healing. My question is; is it possible for a MLD massage therapist to successfully massage me while still wearing a vac dressing or is it better to look for massage therapy when vac dressing is gone?

    What about supplements that aid in lymphatic support? Such as Mary Ruth’s liquid extract that claims to aid in lymphatic support with herbs. Can supplements really help or is lymphatic drainage and support only achieved through what you stated in this video?

    • @crispykmm9646
      @crispykmm9646 16 дней назад

      Supplements are a waste of $ . Lymphatics just need water and manual movement.

    My doctor asked me if I wanted to take a dieuretic when I told her I felt my compression socks were not working that well in my leg. I said no so she suggested cutting out more salt. She is the one who said she thinks I have lipedema due to the swelling in my left lower limb. I feel like her suggestion to take the diuretic was not the best solution

    • @crispykmm9646
      @crispykmm9646 16 дней назад

      Diruretics do not help oedema if it is lymphoedema.Different if your swelling is related to heart or kidney issues.Sorry to hear you felt not heard by your doctor and they didn't follow up and dig deeper into the reason for your swelling Hope you can get some new compression.

    thanks. i prefer to do yoga with lymph tapping before, i go from collarbone area first, to behind knees last in that order, so starting at the end of the lymph system to free it up there first. then i do yoga from bottom/feet to up/head, in that order. my question, would you agree with that? or anything you would do different? thank you

      As a former MT of 30 years, and cancer patient myself, I'd advise against manual therapy during this time. The cancer can spread through the lymphatic system, and the toxins from the chemo could absolutely overwhelm the system altogether. If you want healing touch, which is great, try Reiki. It's gentle laying on of hands, energy work.

    • @CancerRehabPT
      @CancerRehabPT  27 дней назад +1

      @@dani_2279 good question! We typically avoid it during active treatment unless there is a major medical reason to be doing it along with clearance from the oncologist. There are many unknowns in this area so it’s best to look at the pros and cons for each person. Sending you my very best with your final rounds!! 💕
