My first car in GT5 was a used 1990 Infinity G20. It quickly won me enough credits to buy a used 96 Skyline R33 which I then fully upgraded and won the GT Championship and many other professional series events. Only been playing for 3 days and have nearly 2 million credits.
When I started out with a (P) Civic Type R I fully tuned it. I tried tuning everything to where I wanted it to. I improved the tuning on the Type R. This guy needs to learn how to tune guys you just gotta learn what each setting does.
It’s also best to start with a kart, play as many special events and licenses as possible to get (not to mention sell the duplicate kart you get for a couple thousand back). This will be useful as you can have hundreds of thousands to start a/b spec instead of 20k or less and you can have plenty of cars also
@hockey161616 Yep do the Mazda Miata if u can, u will get the Furai 08 concept car, it boasts power/turn and it comes with everything max out he demonstrated in the video ie intake/turbo/weight/transmission/tires etc. That car is a must have.
you only need racing hard tires for endurance races no point buying them for a scraper also do as many licence tests early best car to save for from level 11 to 20 is the GTR 07 can enter loads of races and tuned right up its a beast still using it in expert if you can save up around 750000 buy the corvette ZR1 09 do the racing mod in gt auto then bump up the power it is one hell of a car
I bought a Skyline '95 for my start and I progressed a long way through the A-spec line with that little car and It was great, until i was like level 10 lol.
A lot of the tuning ideas are not really helpful, for example when you purchased the clutch, flywheel and transmission, it does not work for many cars, changing those makes gear changes fast, but then you lose momentum and you will have to buy a fully customisable transmission anyway to make up for it.
If you're trying to be frugal with the money you spend on tuning up your car, I would most certainly advise someone to "NOT BUY EVERY TIRE" Just buy racing soft, and only what you need for a b-spec race.
i wouldnt buy either of those cars when starting. the biggest tip now, buy what you can use for a good seasonal event cause you will make a load more ther than any a-spec or b-spec races.
I've lost several hundred thousand dollars making modifications to a car that made it out of spec for the race and it kept my money. Has anyone else experienced anything like that?
This guy doesnt know what he is talking: "LSD and torque sensing differantial are only usefull for AWD" Bitch please, in RWD you can cause it to oversteer or understeer more and how fast they need to spin etc
NO, NO, NO... all wrong! lol... all you need to do is the SPECIAL EVENTS... it will get you to level 15 without racing ONCE in A-SPEC and 1 million $ plus by then.... then you just needa buy a super car like a Merc SLS and fully upgrade it... then win to get the veyron and...yahhhhh

Maybe at first, but the Evo dominates the Impreza once tuned correctly

when you go to level 4/3 buy a 240zx when tuned it can be 600 or more hp
@francisco46426 You mean pickup trucks? They show up randomly at the used car dealership.
iwant to ask something. if you have academy edition with the Red Bull x2011 prototype, will i winn in A- and B-spec? HELL YES!
I've lost several hundred thousand dollars making modifications to a car that made it out of spec for the race and it kept my money. Has anyone else experienced anything like that?
Anybody know how to get Drivers in B Spec? I have one driver, but no competition and it won’t let me enter any races. It says more Drivers are needed.
@skidpiggy If you have a wheel it does.
Is there a method to play season challenges today?

This guy doesnt know what he is talking:
"LSD and torque sensing differantial are only usefull for AWD"
Bitch please, in RWD you can cause it to oversteer or understeer more and how fast they need to spin etc
