Forza Motorsport 2-4 is a perfect example of doing it well without overdoing it. Having bumpers fly off when you are drifting is awesome and really adds to the immersion. I play CarX all the time, and I saw that the second one (Xbox) will have damage. Very excited for that.

I just unwrapped my GT 5 Academy Edition yesterday.. I'm in India and it says the online feature has come to an end :( my coupon code for DLC and academy edition has expired :'( . So is it a totaly waste now after all this?
Not a waste, however you can still find plenty of enjoyment offline by collecting cars just spend your money on the game wisely. Or get a garage editor for GT5.
