In the US circumcisions are in decline. Currently around 60 percent of newborns get the procedure which dropped from 83 percent. As people move away from religion the practice will continue to fade. While there are some medical benefits it's becoming more common for parents to let the kid reach adulthood to choose if they want to undergo the procedure.
That's good imo. I don't see any reason for it unless there is a problem. I've always thought it was mutilation. I'm a woman, though, so my perspective could be way off than what men generally think about this.
