The fact he was so annoyed and heavily distracted and barely holding it together made this so hilarious to me, when he tries to sincerely do a bit about something else, but just can't ignore this guy is the best part😂😂😂
yeah, honestly this guy did everyone a favor. It went from just some random show among the 10K chris has done that no one will ever really remember, to a an actual event everyone will remember for the rest of their lives. People saying he ruined this show, are missing out on the gift he gave everyone. A gift only possibly because of Chrissy's brilliance btw
Matt Rife is hilarious! He's quick and witty. I know people have different senses of humor, but there's a reason he has sold out shows through next year and it ain't simply just because he's a good looking guy. Not to say that doesn't play a part of it because it does, but he's a solid comedian and millions of people agree. So to say he isn't funny as a blanket statement isn't true. He's simply just not funny TO YOU, and that's ok 😀

I can confirm what Chris said, not every comedian can handle that. I worked at a comedy club in New York City and a few years ago before the pandemic a headliner was in the same situation, a woman sat in the front row and her laugh was just as bad as this guy; she sounded like a dolphin every time she laughed. And the comedian stopped his set and didn’t know how to handle it and asked her to leave because she was distracting him. Security came and walked her and her husband out and even as she was walking out she was laughing sounding like a dolphin in distress. So Kuddos to you Chris you are a true professional 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

yeah, I seriously don't know if I could handle getting roasted like that without taking it personally. at a certain point, the jokes just became abusive. not even funny. i get the comic was annoyed, but that dude was still a paying fan who wanted to come out and support him. kind of unfair for the comic to constantly talk about "how good of a job he's doing" by continuing to do his job and disparage the guy so much. a bit pompous. imagine anyone in any other profession unrelentlessly complaining about the conditions of the workplace to a customer they're actively serving, while putting another down who's within earshot. a bit off-putting to the non-problematic customer. i thought this would be an 18min portion of his act but it was really only 4 mins of jokes and 14 mins of ranting. hard to sympathize after 6mins as the "crowd work" became increasingly vicious. good lord.

The despair in his face while he's processing that this is gonna be the whole show at 0:28 and the anger at 0:48 when he accepts he's insulting him isn't gonna work 😂😂😂
That was great. I’m so glad it was caught on film. And thanks to RUclips’s platform. These kind of moments get their shine and Chris De Steffano the man as always.
Watched you live in Florida with the women that sat in front row that you thought was Latina and when she told you she wasn’t and you responded something along the lines “your plastic surgery says otherwise” I could not stop laughing.
This reminds me when Robin Williams was doing inside actors studio I believe, but there was this lady who was laughing obnoxiously louder than every one and a little longer than every one. He stops and talks to her directly, making her laugh even harder and just owning the improvisational moment.
@treverdrew6993 most professionals would've made him leave. With that said, Chris did a GREAT job handling it. I didn't hate the guy, he was having a good time. But also, come on man lol
That just seems wrong. You're there to laugh, the comic WANTS YOU to laugh, so kicking him out feels wrong. Give him something to muffle that shit, but let him stay
@@aliengranpaThis shit is equivalent to heckling in my opinion. It completely derailed the show and if Chris decided to walk out, it would have ruined the show for everyone in the room. The fact he could just stop laughing as soon as Chris asked him a question (which Chris called him on btw) just shows it's just attention seeking behavior. Everyone there was lucky Chris was feeling generous that night. He chose to give 1 person the night of their life and the attention they were looking for, but in a way the rest of the room could have some fun too.
@@aliengranpa The comic wants you to LAUGH. Not scream like a retard for an hour straight uncontrollably. That guy derailed any jokes Chris had for the audience. 15 minutes in the guy was laughing with the same energy and Chris was still talking about him. Would feel somewhat like a waste of money to watch a comedian just roast a laugh for an hour straight. To each his own though.
First time I've heard anything from you, but you have my respect forever for this! It's not the dudes fault he has such an abrasive laugh - I would have felt bad for him if you threw him out. But fair play you have used it to your advantage. Absolutely brilliant!

Yo Chrissy this is probably my favorite clip of comedy content on RUclips this year!!! Wow there is some funny clips with Kill Tony but man the poise & control you had then bashing at him then rolling with it was just hilarious!! Props to you man I hope to you see you live one day! This one of those videos where you gotta watch it more than once just to brighten your mood up 😂😂
Another friend did an even bigger rip and he wasn't seated. He went full Sloth from the Goonies and started drooling while laughing and then collapsed to his knees while hitting his forehead on the table and breaking the table. We all played football.
I have not laughed so hard for a while, and I feel bad for this guy. It's one that you can't control it as hard as you may try. One of my best friends at elementary school and I used to laugh uncontrollably at times just knowing each other's presence or one look at each other in class, and we lost it. We tried so hard to hold our laughter but failed each time. Your tummy and chest literally hurts.😂 The teachers had to separate us at each session. My brothers and I even got in trouble once with my mom just because we started laughing uncontrollable for no reason when it was late at night. She locked us in the bathroom 😂 giving her such a headache. I missed these type of laughter as messed up as it seemed. mmmmm dont think I sounded like that 😂
😅🤣 wild stretch there. Diff stakes I would say. Burrs crowd hated him and he said the most awful shit he could think of and ended up winning them over. Not sure this will move the needle for Chris although deff a fun watch! Well done Chris!
Was going to say the same. Different scenario for sure, but both were a master of their craft turning a difficult situation around into something great.
Seriously! Thanks for posting this instead of hiding in some dark, far, far away corner. We needed to see this one too. Omg smh. That last line of his was killer hilarious and so perfectly timed!
Nah something is socially wrong with the guy obviously, if he felt any shame or embarrassment he would have done ANYthing besides what he did (try to stop, take a break outside, not sit in front, leave, apologize. He might have had OCD/Tourette’s or something in some of the clips you can see him just yell into his hand, not even laughing.
He might have just felt like it would be worse to leave. I felt really sad for him at the end. I wish Chris hadn't asked him about the sex thing. @@jobis34

This is so fucking funny hahahaha
Bro was hangin on for dear life but he ninja’d his way thru it lmao but peep how red his face is lol he was under maximum psi before complete meltdown. Lol 😂😂❤
This is absolutely insane. This is going to go down in comedy history!
The amount of emotions through this video is wild. Obviously Chris is hilarious and then the guy is clearly annoying and then you just feel bad for the guy because he's the real life joker. Then Chris wonderfully ties it all together and its fun again
Dude.....very few comics in the world could do what you did. Amazing work.
I’m lonely on thanksgiving. Needed this. Comedy is all about giving someone a laugh when they need it the most. And chris, you just did that. Thank you
Just went thru a break up for the holidays...much love babe!
@@angelastake2420Oof, that's rough, sorry you're going through that, and to the OP, I hope you're able to laugh some more and enjoy the rest of your evening, sorry you had to be alone. And sorry for your breakup (unless you wanted out of it, in which case I'd be happy for you lol)
Much love to the both of y'all 🙂✌️💚
Thx James. It's all about the love and support and best of all, the LAUGHTER that gets us through it all! 😖🤪🤣
Lmfao males showing weakness, get in here boys. We got a live one!
Do you need a little hanky-poo to blow your sad holiday boogies in? 😂😂😢😢😢😮😅😊🎉❤
that was gold, only a mechanic could take 20 mins of pure abuse and laugh through like an absolute maniac through it all. Holy shit that was so funny
OH! MY! GOD!... I was in tears the whole time, literally crying. Thank you for sharing, keep kicking ass out there , hope to see you in Miami.
The fact that you made it through that hour is insane, getting through the 20 was wild. fuckin incredible
This is one of the most insane things I've seen in a long time, you're a legend Chris
This reminds me when Robin Williams was doing inside actors studio I believe, but there was this lady who was laughing obnoxiously louder than every one and a little longer than every one. He stops and talks to her directly, making her laugh even harder and just owning the improvisational moment.
Man, this is proof you’re a professional Chrissy. Imagine if this happened in your first couple years doing comedy hahaha
Oh so this is the proof? Not the selling out theatres and arenas? Lmao
@@thedonofthsht76-58you like to argue
@@thedonofthsht76-58Weird little excuse for a man
@@thedonofthsht76-58I sprayed the back of my toilet with poop while reading this
That laugh is insane. I don't know how you didn't make him leave
He is a professional....
Dude I was in literal tears, this might be the funniest piece of content you’ve ever put out. Thank you 🤣
"Content"...? 😆 Wtf???
@@ThatTempesTGuyhuh? I agree and can’t think of any recent content that is this uniquely fun
First time I've heard anything from you, but you have my respect forever for this! It's not the dudes fault he has such an abrasive laugh - I would have felt bad for him if you threw him out. But fair play you have used it to your advantage. Absolutely brilliant!
I laughed so hard at this, I pee’d my pants. Chris handled this so well despite his discomfort and vague irritation.😂😂😂
Someone pay to sit this man front row at every Jimmy Carr show
Oh man, even Jimmy would be delighted at first, then possibly a little annoyed, and then he'd just turn all of his comedic energy onto roasting that guy's life and his laugh 😂😂😂
I'm so glad this was filmed. Chris handled this like a champ
Handled what like a champ? Some guy with a silly laugh think your stuff is funny? Wow PoOr CrIsSY 🙄
Chrissy D handled that so well. I don't know that I would have had the same patience.....even if I was just a fan in the crowd. 😆
I know i would legit be mad lmao
13:08 We were the couple he was talking to lol.. glad he put that convo in cause it was a great experience nonetheless! He did amazing with that guy right there in his ear! ❤ we love you Chrissy!
Mission completed. Congratulations on passing the training level. People ignore a bad joke but a bad attitude is never forgotten. You, sir, just demonstrated that you are a pro and very capable despite having those delicate lady hands.
This will live on FOREVER AND EVER in the comic community
Interviewer: so, Mr. Phoenix, how did you develop your laugh for The Joker character?
This:
Damn Chris you deserve all the praises after that! Stuck in there for over 45 minutes. I feel like if it were anyone else they’d probably walk off
Fantastic adaptation!!!! True professionalism. Well done, Sir!
Chris, the way you handled this challenge wipes Bill Burr’s Philadelphia story right off the map.
A star is born ⭐️
No it fucking doesn’t, get the fuck outta here
Same ballpark for sure
The determination to pull through! The faith of the audience, for you! One of a kind moment!
Chris is a legend for how well he handled this and how funny on the spot he was with it this was some A+ comedic work
Every person that enjoys comedy needs to see this. If I was getting roasted this bad I'm not sure I could have kept laughing. lol
I truly hope that someone records that laughh and plays it randomly at future shows only at the the end of bits to show their appreciation
I never comment on RUclips videos, but this video should have 100 million views. Chris D is a fkn legend
Legendary performance under pressure. You’re a beast Chrissy!
I was crying! I never thought I would laugh harder than the guy with no arms, but you killed it with this one!!!! Amazing
Respect for sticking it out Chris! You are awesome
You need to get this guy on podcasts and tours. Make it the 60 minute challenge for your warm ups
Yo Chrissy this is probably my favorite clip of comedy content on RUclips this year!!! Wow there is some funny clips with Kill Tony but man the poise & control you had then bashing at him then rolling with it was just hilarious!! Props to you man I hope to you see you live one day! This one of those videos where you gotta watch it more than once just to brighten your mood up 😂😂
I think I laughed like that once when I did Salvia in a friend's apartment and had a laughing seizure in a recliner while thinking about Anne Frank.
Anne Frank and Salvia go hand-in-hand
More like weed and Anne Frank… Frankenhuise is in the heart of Amsterdam
Was this in Erie PA
@@bushwickbill3643 Orlando, Florida, 2009.
I missed these type of laughter as messed up as it seemed. mmmmm dont think I sounded like that 😂
Chrissy balling his fist like Arthur when he wished the guy died had me rolling 😂😂😂
One of the best sets from any comedian I've ever seen.
That was absolutely hilarious and masterfully done. And killer final joke 😂👏🏽
This is Chrissy’s Burr-Philly moment. The already upward trajectory of his career is about to catapult another ten-fold. Comedy gold right here
😅🤣 wild stretch there. Diff stakes I would say. Burrs crowd hated him and he said the most awful shit he could think of and ended up winning them over. Not sure this will move the needle for Chris although deff a fun watch! Well done Chris!
@@JRDirt88 Yea agree but I'm sure there's a ven diagram that'd fit 😅
Was going to say the same. Different scenario for sure, but both were a master of their craft turning a difficult situation around into something great.
THIS is what FUNNY ART looks and sounds like - absolutely a master
OMG i am laughing so hard at this. He complains but damn this is comedy gold from the comedy gods.
Seriously! Thanks for posting this instead of hiding in some dark, far, far away corner. We needed to see this one too. Omg smh. That last line of his was killer hilarious and so perfectly timed!
I’m sure homie feels so embarrassed 😂 it’s tough to have a weird laugh and Chrissy handled it like a champ 👏
I would’ve just left
He might have just felt like it would be worse to leave. I felt really sad for him at the end. I wish Chris hadn't asked him about the sex thing. @@jobis34
I thought a baby was crying on my flight. I kept turning up my headphones. 😂
OMG 😂I JUST finally finished laughing from this clip then I read your comment and now I'm HOWLING again 😂 It's rare for a comment to make me laugh so hard but I've been in that situation on a plane and it's brutal while it happens but oh man.....my face and stomach hurt again, that was perfect 😂😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣
We were there at that show and it was insane! That guy was there all by himself and it’s dead real. It was torture!!!! But Chris was amazing and got through it somehow.
Any one consider going and having a word?
Was there something wrong with the guy or was he just like not socially aware?
Was it the bald guy up front?
@@BTBAMETALYes.
Great job sir! The patience that you had was incredible hats off to you and your super funny while you're distracted still that's true talent
I can ONLY imagine the the predicament…Kudos, Chris D, kudos!👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
The real show of skill is when he got people cheering and clapping so loud it drowned out the laugh. Totally changed the energy in the room.
Also, pretty sure I'll have nightmares tonight from that laugh.
Possibly the funniest thing I’ve ever seen. Thanks for making my day!!
Astounding. The comedy equivalent of Jordan scoring 38 with the flu in the NBA Finals. A remarkable achievement for comedy and mankind
This was the best stand up I have seen in the past 400 days. Props to both these guys. I actually saw Chris live before he had any fame and was blown away. Never had I seen a no name comedian and thought they were gonna be big. But I did that night. So happy you're seeing success!
This is like watching the pros play in terrible weather, the best rise to the top. Just amazing work.
This is the hardest I have laughed in a while… thank you Chrissy D
Next level riding the wave. True pro. We love you for it.
