I would not only contact Joanns about the pearl and angel situation, but also I would message the people who bought angel scrunchies send them a picture of the colors side by side and ask if the color difference is okay before you send them a pearl one, BUT I think they would not mind at all.
Hi, Kelsie! I’m probably one of your “older” viewers, but IMO I think you need to contact customer support and find out what happened. It sounds like they may have discontinued the angel color way and just sent you the new color, but they shouldn’t do that without getting your consent first. Based on what they say, you should then contact your customers and let them know so that they have a voice in deciding whether to accept the replacement color or not. There’s definitely a noticeable difference in the two colors! That’s what I would do, anyway. Thanks for another great video! Have a great weekend!

Super random, but hearing the scissors snip, then the little clack when you place them on the table is super satisfying. The sound of completing a project. Also, Holy moly those colors are so close! I couldn't tell them apart until you held them next to the camera. The Midnight sea has just a tad more green ting to it than the Regal Blue. Both such lovely colors.
And, Joann? You okay hunny? That's a funny little hiccup you got going on out there.
Yes. Email them. And if they say it's the same, be sure to advise them that it most definitely is NOT. One is cool toned and one is warm toned.

One way to tell a difference in similar colors is grey scale a picture.
I agree with your color match on the blue yarns! I think it’s easier to tell on camera tbh!! Also I feel like you’d be fine to give your customers pearl over sparkly angle

So not sure if you know this, but I used to work at a Joann’s and the reason your ship from store orders come in multiple boxes is because they pull the items from stores, not warehouses. So the order goes to one store, they give you as many of the items as possible and ship it. Then the remaining items show up as an order in the next store with as much of your ordered items in stock and they fill it, etc. With larger orders they will often bounce through several stores before being completed, hence the many boxes.
You got my attention at Barbie Fairytopia!! I have all the movies. My granddaughters watched them on repeat! Let’s go Ceasar! Let’s see you binge watch them - NO sleeping during! 😂😂

I love the Pearl color, I think it’s close enough to the angel color to be able to use it for any of the angel sparkly scrunchies
I just checked my most recent order - I ordered angel and sparkly angel and my sparkly angel is in fact pearl on the label!

@@PassioKnitKelsie when I shop at Joann in person I always stop to look at the Juicy Couture yarn and I've also noticed the sparkly white are named Pearl and the non-sparkly are Angel, despite the website listing. I just assumed it was a typo 🤷♂️ if you end contacting Joann maybe just ask if it's an input error

Joannes loves to just send whatever and be like yea they’ll figure it out 😂😂 I learned that ordering the entire posh collection when it first dropped. If they don’t have what you need they give you… well you see.
Also reaching out to customer service probably won’t result in anything but them telling you to return it at a local Joanne’s. 🤦🏻♀️ I just finally got the color I was missing from my order because it hasn’t been in stock and I ordered the entire collection in feb.

I'd contact Joanns and ask them if it's a name changed, but also contact your customers to see if they'd be OK to receive the sparkly pearl instead of the angel :)

13:04 ughhh I hate that confusion too. I recently got a few skeins of colour changing yarn which has ombre shades of yellow and the darker shades are almost indistinguishable. I also have to wonder whether its my eyes or the yarn😂

I’m surprised with your orders they don’t send you a paper that shows what you ordered? with our ordering as a hairdresser and products what we would do is highlight everything that we got when it got to the salon. So might be a good idea for you just so you know what you ordered when you ordered it and if you actually got everything you ordered. Especially when you’re making so many orders and going through so many different yarns. Just a helpful tip. Thought you might could use.❤

Could be a label misprint. I got a Hobbi Honey Bunny Halloween yarn and even though the yarn was CLEARLY halloween, the color information says its christmas 😅 on all of them😂 the theme is still Halloween, even the label art is Halloween... Oh they *do* look different.... What the fork?! 😂😂😂

cool vlog! i agree, if your custormer ordered a certain color you must fulfil it unlesss you can't get the color, you can contact customer and inform them of the situation, they are usually okay with it. better to be safe that way. Thank you for sharing!

Looking at Joann’s website the item number for Angel sparkle is the same for the ART (article) number for pearl. So it’s probably just a name change or different name since there is sparkle to it.
I used to do orders for joann and depending on where it comes from we only ever had like 2/3 box sizes lol. Love your videos!

I think Pearl is an older color. I saw some stashes on raverly and a post from oct 2023 about someone using the color pearl in their project
In your situation I think I would send your customers who bought angel scrunchies a picture of the pearl yarn and ask them if they are ok with it or if they would prefer to cancel/wait longer for angel to arrive. Idk it's weird. Fingers crossed it never happens to me lol
i think you could substitute pearl for the angel on those orders. the difference is very small. and also, that food looked so freaking good 🤤

I would call Joann customer service! Could have been someone picking the yarns for you and just grabbed it bc it looked so similar but either way it’s not what you ordered and they’re usually good about refunding and sending the right one!
Check the SKU #’s on what u ordered versus the pearl that arrived. They may be the same
