I actually think it’s very normal to have days or weeks with “no crochet/knitting time”. Take your time and do it whenever you feel inspired by the yarn or pattern. It’s the very thin line of when you love something and when you feel obligated to do something

agree! i really do need to spend my free time on other things more sometimes it almost feels like i have to be constantly knitting/crocheting when im not doing anything else and it gets tiring :')

It does sound like you’re getting a bit burnt out, I suggest taking more breaks and maybe doing other activities to reset!! New materials can help I think but it’s important to take care of yourself

You should look into a thermal stitch for the strap for your water bottle holder. It’s very sturdy and won’t stretch as much
