Seungkwan especially taught me to respect my parents and make them happy. They are a major inspiration for me to succeed - hardwork, the drive for perfection, passion, they taught me it all. Im not trying to seem superior, but rather telling SVT's extremely positive effect in my life. SVT is good at their choreo, singing and rapping, the same way, I'll devote all I have in what I have to do. They are doing extremely well and working hard for their careers and I'll do the same

晓婷 Definitely. Like she doesn’t realize how much we all want to be in her position. We want to go their concerts hell, even if I have their albums and all I’ll be happy and it would be enough. I never leave schoolwork for them, if anything I study because of them. Like I know that’s still wrong but they motivate me to study and do things well. Like, all kpop idols wouldn’t feel comfortable with fans like her. She’s giving up her life for them which is not a responsibility they want to have. If something bad happened it would be because of them and they don’t want that. So she should stop.
Knowing what I know of the boys, all of them would be thankful but disappointed in her. They most likely felt real bad that she devoted so much to them, but it resulted in her flunking. I hope she does improve not just for the boys but for herself and maybe one day go to the concert with a dream and plan to accomplish that dream in mind.

When she said she follows them on their schedules that was it for me. She definitely is one of the sasaengs. You can see the obsessive behaivour in her. The way she instantly agreed only because of what the boys said doesn't change the fact that she did all of that to begin with and we don't know if she'd do it again. Being a dedicated fan and being an obsessive fan is a different thing. In fact, they shoudn't even be called fans. See her friend is also a fan but did she react that way? No.
But on the bright side.. at the end, she did realize her mistake. What she said to her father at the end is really heartwarming.. well, not always. I've seen cases where the people return to the program and talk about how it started getting better. Me too ! As a carat I do love them but I can’t ignore my real life as a student. One time there was ideal cut concert but on that day I have to do my exam so I choose not to go even even though I desperately want to came. Rather than distract my life, they are my inspiration to work hard. Seventeen especially Joshua, motivates me to keep sharping my English better.the other members like wonwoo encourages me to always read many books. Woozi, the producer always inspire me to love his passion and never stops to put your best. Other than that, I started to learn Korean and picked up a new skills. Now I can watch Kdrama and try not to use the subtitle. I nailed it bit by bit. :) so please everyone, make your idol as your motivator and you can pick up new skills 😊

When I was in school my idols was the entire reason why I became good at English. It was my positive influence and strong motivator to study harder and take it seriously. Wouldn't it feel better to make them proud of their positive influence to inspire you instead? What if your favorite artist one day in the future heard "I am successful today because your hard work inspired me in these ways" or similar. Be mature and responsible of your future, your life and your family to make a positive impact instead of neglecting yourself.
I really hoped that she at least continue to go to school and study hard because it was a concern for herself, not because SVT told her too.. I’ve been a Carat for almost 4 years and they’re basically the only K-pop group I listen to. I’m happy she’s a fan, but as everyone could tell, shes a sasaeng. Seventeen is self-produced group and work very hard, I could imagine how Seventeen would feel knowing that their fans skip their everyday lifestyle and depend on the group.
Personal Opinion: It is perfectly fine to love seventeen because they are amazing and talented, but I think that there is a basic tier of important things in life: 1. Family, Friends, and Yourself 2. I am a fan but they never became a distraction to me.. rather became an inspiration. -- During my licensure exam (Diamond Edge concert), they came to my country. There were temptations to buy the ticket.. sure I do like to buy it too.. I prepared for it.. but the exact day of the concert is the exact same day of our mock board exams... I cannot miss it.. its my future on the line.. but I promised myself that I will attend their concert someday .

It's good to have something that you love and like but don't let it affect you negatively depending on what it may be. Concerts and purchasing of merchandise should be done in minimization. Personally, I believe you don't need one blanket of each members face. You're in high school so you have parents that can spend on you lavishly but once you get older you can run into huge debt. One thing to note is that these idols are living their lives and dreams. As days pass, time passes. You can't go back to yesterday but you can start a new future tomorrow. Don't be stagnant while your idols and friends are prospering in your eyes. 10, 20 years from now you can't come out and say that SEVENTEEN members where the reason you dropped out of school or you failed in life and couldn't achieve your dreams. In my opinion, you don't need to follow them to the airport and places that are considered personal to them. Fan meetings and other vip and non-vip events are enough. The time you use to follow them all over the place, should be spent working on yourself and achieving your own dreams. They'd be happy to hear that you have excelled by following them. No celebrity wants to hear that their career and public presence was the downfall of their fans future. Remember, change is given to those who try.
Tbh this girl is so lucky to be able to meet/see them Atleast once in her life. I'm a big fan of BTS and Gfriend but I live in a country where I can't imagine them holding a concert. The only thing I have is a BTS coffee mug . At night whenever I sit to study I drink coffee and looking at the cup, I get inspired by how much BTS had to Go through to reach their dream. I feel this coulda been me.. I was obsessed with Seventeen when they were predecir, i would get up at 5 am before school to watch Seventeen TV! They debuted when I was a sophomore in HS, but I took a break from kpop. It was interfering with everything.. now I’m back having graduated college. I grew up well and without being distracted. But even now, as I pursue grad school, I can only think of how hard Seventeen worked to reach their dreams and I use that as my motivation.

I envy her for her merchandises since my Mom doesn't allow me to buy stuffs related to my idols -well, i can now-, I even printed my own photocards and hopefully, my mom doesn't opposed to it. It's not bad to be a die-hard fan of one idols, but don't let it be the cause for you to ignore your studies. 晓婷 Definitely. Like she doesn’t realize how much we all want to be in her position. We want to go their concerts hell, even if I have their albums and all I’ll be happy and it would be enough. I never leave schoolwork for them, if anything I study because of them. Like I know that’s still wrong but they motivate me to study and do things well. Like, all kpop idols wouldn’t feel comfortable with fans like her. She’s giving up her life for them which is not a responsibility they want to have. If something bad happened it would be because of them and they don’t want that. So she should stop.
Knowing what I know of the boys, all of them would be thankful but disappointed in her. They most likely felt real bad that she devoted so much to them, but it resulted in her flunking. Me too ! As a carat I do love them but I can’t ignore my real life as a student. One time there was ideal cut concert but on that day I have to do my exam so I choose not to go even even though I desperately want to came. Rather than distract my life, they are my inspiration to work hard. Seventeen especially Joshua, motivates me to keep sharping my English better.the other members like wonwoo encourages me to always read many books. Woozi, the producer always inspire me to love his passion and never stops to put your best. Other than that, I started to learn Korean and picked up a new skills. Actually Seventeen is the reason why it keep on working hard so when they have concert i can buy my on ticket and buy merchandise. I'll do my best to be successful so i can be a successful Carat too.
It's good to have something that you love and like but don't let it affect you negatively depending on what it may be. Concerts and purchasing of merchandise should be done in minimization. Personally, I believe you don't need one blanket of each members face. You're in high school so you have parents that can spend on you lavishly but once you get older you can run into huge debt. One thing to note is that these idols are living their lives and dreams. As days pass, time passes. You can't go back to yesterday but you can start a new future tomorrow. Don't be stagnant while your idols and friends are prospering in your eyes. 10, 20 years from now you can't come out and say that SEVENTEEN members where the reason you dropped out of school or you failed in life and couldn't achieve your dreams.
In my opinion, you don't need to follow them to the airport and places that are considered personal to them. Fan meetings and other vip and non-vip events are enough. The time you use to follow them all over the place, should be spent working on yourself and achieving your own dreams. They'd be happy to hear that you have excelled by following them. No celebrity wants to hear that their career and public presence was the downfall of their fans future. Remember, change is given to those who try.
Tbh this girl is so lucky to be able to meet/see them Atleast once in her life. I'm a big fan of BTS and Gfriend but I live in a country where I can't imagine them holding a concert. I kinda think somehow, between fans, we have tendency to envy someone who are "more dedicated" as in being able to buy all their merches and can attend every of their concert. I was that kind of fans too, at the point. Not toward svt fans tho, that was in my earlier day I got into kpop. But if you see the bigger picture, most of the time that kind of behavior isnt so admirable. Some people can afford it because they work hard, and it can be admirable. But for someone who have a parents who enable their overspending, or abandon their school and responsibility, it is.... Sad, actually. With this girl, I at least understand where she came from, but lots of fans are like that just because they can.
This girl is actually so cute when she got up to dance her moves are on point! I love that Seventeen sent her a message they are such lovely oppas. I hope she continues on studying and passing school so she can get a job and continue to support her faves and oppas cause she won’t be able to if she doesn’t go to school or get an education. Maybe she can if she starts her own business.
I ult 3 groups, but they’re an inspiration for my future dreams, even tho I love them very much, education is more important so to any kpop fans out there, that is obsessed with your group please think about your family and education, it can effect you a lot.

I feel this coulda been me.. I was obsessed with Seventeen when they were predecir, i would get up at 5 am before school to watch Seventeen TV! They debuted when I was a sophomore in HS, but I took a break from kpop. It was interfering with everything.. now I’m back having graduated college. I grew up well and without being distracted. But even now, as I pursue grad school, I can only think of how hard Seventeen worked to reach their dreams and I use that as my motivation.
seriously and honestly speaking, i am a die-hard fan of seventeen ever since 2017. But being a fan of Seventeen doesn't neglect me from studying hard. I envy her for her merchandises since my Mom doesn't allow me to buy stuffs related to my idols -well, i can now-, I even printed my own photocards and hopefully, my mom doesn't opposed to it. It's not bad to be a die-hard fan of one idols, but don't let it be the cause for you to ignore your studies. Let them be your inspirations and not your distractions, so that in the future when you're successful and finished school, you will be so proud that you are a Carat and Seventeen - also your fam who supported you throughout your entire life- is one of the reasons why you succeeded, why you graduated, why you are happy, and the ones who inspired you the most.

I also stan SEVENTEEN cuz they are so amazing. They are talented, funny and genuine to each other and their fans. That is one of the reasons why i started to stan them and my attachment to them grew bigger and deeper. But never came to the point where I skip classes or stop doing my personal chores just for them. I think we should balance being a fan and a person. SEVENTEEN won't be happy if they'll found out it. Girl, do everything in moderation. Seventeen themselves would be really disappointed if they heard what you're doing

This is not about boasting but because of my result, my friends think there is some benefit if you become a kpopers.. Almost all the kpopers in my school can speak english well and their english test result is better than anyone else.. English's subject top student formed by kpopers.. You know,, it makes you feel proud sometimes.. And i'm sure this episode broke idol's heart a lot... She's sasaeng.. seriously😥

Actually when I watch them, they onlly make me want to try harder in my life. Seeing them right now making me feel ashamed that I'm still nobody while we're the same age. Glad I always get motivated instead of distracted like this lol I can't imagine how dissapointed my mom would be
People hating seventeen in the comment section need to understand that she chosed to be this way it's not the idols fault (rather woozi requested the fans many times to take their studies sincerely cause thats whats more important) I am a carat but i dont go to that extent instead i would say they are my inspiration which makes me study harder so that i can earn by myself and someday attent their concert.
