- Hey Everyone! i hope youre all ready for simplification on how i do a platinum card color correction. this is great for fragile hair but can also be done with stronger formulations for coarse, darker hair. i know i have a lot of platinum tutorials, its what i specialise in so i hope its not getting boring. i hope that youre all learning something new (what to do or what not to do, even!) with these videos. weve made it so far and i hope the channel can keep growing!

I thought I had to lift my blonde to as light as possible, pale lemon or clear and then tone, that could explain why the toner makes it too ashy and greyish, rather than what you did here, lifting less, with 10 vol instead of 20, to a more yellow colour, so the toner can create a more neutral bright blonde. This will also reduce the processing time and damage to the hair. Great tips!

Awe manny!!!! You’re so sweet!! Maybe start by having your usual formula and adding a bit of gold to it each time you tone. That way you will ease into the new colour rather than shocking yourself with a new tone?

Really gorgeous platinum! What is your opinion about using permanent colour to tone the hair after bleaching, for example igora royal 10.21 or wella illumina 10.69 and a low developer, 7/10vol? I usually use permanent colour on my hair and achieve great results, in my case white silver platinum, but this time, after bleaching i got a really pale yellow band (0.5cm from the roots), which i cant cancel out with anything! Any advice? Also, I was just wondering, what is more damaging for the hair: two rounds of bleach (first 20vol and second time 10vol) and then tone or, one round of bleach, which lifts my hair to a level 8 aproximately, and then permanent colour with 30vol to lift the hair a couple levels and tone at the same time? Thanks!!

Platinum cards are straight perfection. It did look like you shampood first. Or was it just really saturated from the k18? I prefer to wet bleach sometimes for consistency and to aide in the area process times

Hi there - I’ve watched so many of your videos that I can’t remember where I saw this. You have such great content and I’ve been able to successfully bleach my own hair for a while now. Question - in one of your videos, you wash with Fanola before you tone, I think. I have naturally probably a level 6 shade but it easily lifts to level 10 with BlondMe. If I wanted to maintain my icy platinum after several weeks (or wash it before toning for the first time), would I use Fanola No Orange or Yellow? I’m not really sure I understand the difference. And this probably sounds stupid, but how do I know if it’s yellow or orange? I just feel like after the toner starts to fade, it’s not necessarily a bad color, it’s just not icy platinum anymore. Thanks in advance for your help!

yes that tiny toning mistake with the ten, I just had it today. i also was frustrated that I wasted my good toner... And I was not sure if to use an 8 or a 9, but decided to take the 8. Which for my case was also very good. Thanks for sharing your experience.
