CA, I really enjoy your you videos. I'm in Maryland and don't get to do some of saltwater fishing, but use a lot of your techniques for fresh water too. I'm especially enjoying your walk around videos of your boats. I'm in the process of turning an older aluminum StarCraft in to a Skiff and trying to use you set ups to set up mine as i build it.
I have a 2020 Hewes Redfisher18 but I will say I love how Hells Bay incorporated the Backrest into the poling platform with mine you have to make a choice to take it with you or leave it in the truck.
Huge fan of the motor change, Mercury puts out a mean 4 stroke. I was under the impression hells bay was going to sign a contract with tohatsu. Surprised to see the mercury though.
@Daniel G I agree! I like Mercury, but from experience on family members boats I’d much rather run a Yamaha or Suzuki 115. More reliable in my experience, but to each their own.
What did you do as far as in line strainers in your live well pumps? The two 3/4" holes in the bottom of my Marquesa were sucking everything up in to the impellers on the rules, I went with shurflo in lines before the pumps, I just wish I could find a strainer to cover the inlets on the bottom..catch em up CA, nice ride as usual...Merry Christmas, Happy New Year. Amazing rig! I’m wanting to buy one, I can’t find pricing ANYWHERE. It gives me ranges from $40-90k. If you don’t mind me asking. How much would this go for with the motor/boat go for?
I had bought a john boat with a new mercury tiller took me 2 years to save up for and some ass stole it I got the boat because my kids love fishing in backwaters jus broke my kids heart sux ppl gotta steal but one ill find something used and make them smile again beautiful boat
@@SaltySeaCaptain thanks bud its life I guess ppl love to take what's not there's u know jus sux breaking my kids heart thts all they absolutely love fishing its nothing like a small fishing boat to fish on one day ill make their dreams come true again
There’s nothing sissy about safety. Remember when nut cups or air bags were for sissies? The rest writes it self. Another great video! Thanks, full grown intelligent man!
Yah but on a boat like that you have to put it in a hatch. There isn’t a t-top for a t-top bag or anything like that. Different regs for different boats my man
Love the marquesa! One day ill get my eldora. So odd to see a CA boat without a evinrude in the back. You literally have the perfect skiff.
great looking boat CA. loved your presentation see ya soon
That is a beautiful well made flats boat, thanks for sharing with us the details of her!
Another beautiful skiff. Love the setup!
Damn....I'm impressed! Layed out beautiful...nice!!

Capt. CA, I'm looking for a Push pole holder myself, what kind is that and where did you get yours?
It’s a Tibor. Search them online or check out your local fly shop.
CA, is your covered parking structure a prefab unit you ordered? If so can you Plz share the company info? Thx! Bill
Beautiful rig! Thats a 60 to 70K skiff all day long. You have to pay for quality!

If I need a plate for my trailer ,can I just request a motorcycle plate instead ? please advice ,thanks
no
get a trailer plate. Assuming you are in FL
@@Choctawhatchee_Trash he is in FL too
@@MangoAficionado you might never get pulled over for it but I wouldn't do it without Ok'ing with the DMV first
@@Choctawhatchee_Trash yes I’ll ask them tomorrow I need a plate for my trailer anyway, that be cool to do the same on the fender .
Yes, you can get either one in Florida.

I can sell my soul and maybe afford the trailer. I got to start somewhere!
I remember your SILVER KING SKIFF from back in the day.
Coast Guard also says that your throwable has to be visible not in a locker.😀

Hmmmm. Getting ichy for something smaller than a Bay boat. CA, do you do marriage counseling?? lol
Now that’s just funny 😆
What happened with you and evinrude
They are effectively out of business since April 2020
Is Hell’s Bay going out of business again to rip off customers
