Congrats Captain I run a Hewes Redfisher ( 2nd one ) and have thought often about stepping into a more Technical Skiff but then I run across Tampa Bay Egmont Channel in the middle of the afternoon and always manage to talk myself out of it.

Great boat, HB quite a history, just a very small comment, I noticed the foot up down for power pole are right next to other on the platform, I had to separate them so when I have my eye on the red I don’t accidentally hit the wrong direction. Maybe it’s just my big 🦶. Sure would like to see a Texas trip, I’m planning the Rockport area later this year.
Did I see an electric winch on the trailer? I have been looking for something like that to help me out in my old age. Can you include that in a future video please?
