I love this. What wool do you use? The wool i order doesn't look as good quality as this and I definitely need to buy some to make my girls this blanket xx
Can I ask please what weight of yarn would be good to do this? I know you said earlier that you aren’t sure of this make of yarn. I only crochet in vegan yarn, not wool, so it would be good to know which thickness is good for the best effect. Thank you!
I think with this pattern, you don't want too thin of a yarn otherwise the extended stitches will have vertical spaces between them. Worsted weight or chunky / bulky weight would work very nicely. And preferably if you can find a yarn that isn't tightly wound either - a little fuzziness or poofiness to the strand is good.
How about this one? It's an alternative to the traditional crochet ripple, zigzag, and chevron stitch pattern!
