This video gave me shivers... I will never forget my 250 RGV. My 600 CBR RR (RRR lol) was better, but the RGV was so fun with its crazy engine and its light weight. And you ride it very well ! Nice fairing too, more aesthetic than the original :)
That was awesome to watch, great riding. I have only ridden a 4stroke on track. I’m looking forward to taking my rd 350 Ypvs on track this year, cannot wait.
We can go a lot faster but after our 40’s we would rather have some BBQ and Beers afterwards and go home in one piece to the wife and kids! The main goal is just have fun together and do the sport we love!
70°c watertemp is on the higher level. With under 600°c egt on the one cylinder you lose power because is to rich. One step down in the main jet bring 30°c more egt.
Yes, it’s way too hot, on this day outside temp was also 35 degrees, not easy to fit a bigger Radiator on the RGV though, it’s pushing 72HP, on compression 1:14.5 with 102 race fuel, squish 0.90 Max EGT at 670 degrees which is the limit, measured 13cm behind piston skirt…

Die van mij was ook volledig voor het circuit gebouwd. Had een originele race kit ontsteking 13.000 toeren liep hij daarmee. TZ125 zuigers met enkele veer. Custom koppen en uitlaten. Zo licht als een veertje..... een van de mooiste tijden uit mijn leven 😬

Banana Swingarm is for ‘91 and ‘92 models, from ‘93 a braced swingarm was made, little stiffer and longer, both will do anyway..

Looks like Fun ! i used to race RZ 250`s.. what was the bike blasting past on the outside at 5.50 ? he was flying !
We only ride for fun nowadays, nothing wrong with the spirit though it only hurts a lot more when your past 40..
