    We broke up 3 months ago but reconnected last month, talked almost daily, hang out, even in a naughty way (some naughty things), but now she says she wants to move on completely because of that, and doesn’t want to talk anymore.. she said things like “we are stuck in the middle, we are not getting back together and not moving on..” “if we’ll talk and stay in touch it would be weird if our future gf/bf will know that we are still friends..” “I want to stop talking so I can move on and open up for new people and relationships..” I said her okay and I accept that. But I’m really hopeless right now, I think it’s over and I don’t know what to do from here💔

At 27 she left that job and adopted her daughter a 16 year old from the group home.. What 27 your old woman does that!? I had surgery 3 weeks ago so bills but gonna try to sign up to be a client. Hey brad,
    My ex didn't block me but she did unfollow me and took me out of her social media. We didn't even have a big fight. She just told me to let go her and did all this.
    What does this imply?

    • @BradBrowning
      @BradBrowning  2 года назад

      It means she needs space and wants to be single from you. Getting an ex back is a gradual process, so there's no one-action solution for this. Okay? This vid contains an infograph that might be of help to you: y2u.be/7JtmVbDkblw but watch this too as this contains equally important information: ruclips.net/video/BLTA4yjTc2I/видео.html The "no contact" phase is a good start, so do that first if you haven’t yet, for 30 days. If you have, then I'm glad you've completed it. There are two more phases to go with a few other steps in between (in the right order). What I'm trying to say here is it's a 3-phase process, and it's a bit complicated to explain it all on here, but I made an overview in the hopes of making people understand, so watch it here: ruclips.net/video/aeGNPBdpnsI/видео.html or read my guide for the entire process. Good luck!

    Hey Brad, my girlfriend of 2 years broke up with me after very bad arguments & toxicity in our relationship. Not only her family probably hates me but I did your apology in person 3 weeks ago and cooled the tension, she forgave me but says she says she needs time to heal & move on (we work together sort of). She's 37 years old, VERY grounded, wise & mature & has no issues with putting herself first, I have huge doubts the mind games and no contact is going to work on my part I'm 20 days in & nothing, if anything I'm SURE the time apart will reaffirm her position as she Is a Psych major & in therapy, plus I know how her mind works, what do you suggest in my situation? Do I have a chance with her, I feel like even you will have a hard time getting her back 😫

      There's often confusion around a breakup especially when it's fresh. That's completely normal and which is why giving each other space is very much needed. As to your chances, I really wish I could give you a direct yes or no. However, as it is, each situation is unique, so I suggest you take the free quiz as it hits on the critical elements that will determine your chances depending on your answers. In other words, my quiz can give you a more accurate answer than I can since as you may have noticed, there are various factors at play here which needs to be looked at as well as your own actions after the breakup. Here's the link: www.breakupbrad.com/quiz Best of luck!

The first three months after he up and ran away from home, without any warning, I tormented him viciously. 28 yrs of loyalty, devotion and commitment deserves at least a face to face conversation. Not just disappearing one day, “temporarily”. That was 6 months ago. Our children are grown, so I don’t have to do the pretend , happy parent crap. My ex bf was trying to do that when he was trying to get back and it just confirmed the reason why I broke up and put him on the block list. This is especially true if you’re dealing with a woman 35+, so be careful with being funny. Not what a woman wants especially if she has the rest of her life already figured out.

    I have been blocked everywhere after a heated conversation in which he felt hurt by my long response to a hostile message of his. I said that all i ever did was love him and want to be better for him yet he looked down on me and acted as if I was victimizing him. I told him that I will not talk to him again and that he is not the great person I thought he was. He does not want anything to do with me for a very long time. I realize now that we both made mistakes as a natural consequence of not cutting off contact after the breakup for a month. But now we have not spoken in 3 weeks. Is it a bad idea to send a friendly email in a few weeks asking to have an opportunity to apologize and get on good terms? The relationship itself did not end badly, he said he never fell out of love, and he even hinted at the chance of reconciliation in the future at first, but he just felt more and more confident of his decision to end things probably due to the failure to cut off contact with me after the breakup. But he has shown every sign that he is not coming back. How can I increase my chances of getting back together?

    • @BradBrowning
      @BradBrowning  3 года назад +1

      That's true. This stuff could've been avoided if you've cut off contact and work on yourself and give him the space you need; the space that you both need actually. Redo the "no contact" rule and make sure you stick to it this time. But watch this first to help manage your expectations: ruclips.net/video/OzVymYnQFTk/видео.html Here's how you can tell you're doing the "no contact" rule properly: ruclips.net/video/f7zuXk-sVsI/видео.html It may help to make use of the clean slate template, which is a free version from a piece of my Ex Factor Guide. Watch this: ruclips.net/video/6K3xufEwEFg/видео.html The main goal is to bring your ex into an emotional neutral state by employing the 30-day “no contact” rule -- let your ex miss you and don't rush it. But in order to fully understand how this concept works, watch the free in-depth video on my website to learn some psychology techniques and understand how giving each other space for around a month can benefit you than otherwise, at www.breakupbrad.com

    Hi Brad. Me and my ex broke up just over 2 months ago as I stopped putting in effort and got too comfortable. I went no contact for about 3.5 weeks and then spoke to her briefly. Then she blocked me on everything. Three weeks later we matched on tinder and got talking again and she unblocked me. We spoke a bit and she even initiated contact one time. 2 weeks after that her ex followed her on instagram and she followed him back. He treated her bad and didn’t really care about her. We both promised that we would never get with anyone ex if we ever broke up and she followed him back. I then asked her why she followed him and she said” I’m not gonna talk to him. He repulses me” and she is adamant that she isn’t going to speak to him. She seems really cold with me like she doesn’t care or is over me. How do I get her back? Thanks In advance Brad!

      Are you ready to put in some work now? Try not to bring up the past as well as what she's been doing in her life. You're both single now. Anyway assuming you've done the first phase properly, which is the 30-day "no contact" rule, then you should be in a position to be ready to test the waters with your ex. Here's how you can tell you're doing it correctly: y2u.be/f7zuXk-sVsI You may want to tick off the checklist here as well: y2u.be/BAhMrmw3Sms Now once you're positive you've done all that's mentioned, you can proceed to contact your ex. Every consuming thought is about what I can do to win back the one I can't live without. We were initially talking some, but after being best friends for 3 years she went completely cold within a month of our split as she began talking to someone new. I have done my best to stay in no contact, but everything within me says to go fight for my person, the one I love. Its killing me to sit on the sidelines praying her new relationship crumbles quickly. We're still connected in some ways and she hasn't told me to leave her alone, but she's also hasn't responded to even simple requests for things she has or info I need. I refuse to give up all hope. Hi Brad. My ex and i broke up 5 weeks ago. And in that time i have seen her twice., she contactet me after three weeks. We cry toghether and hold hands. She is very upset and she says things like ''i miss you so much'' i moved out four days after the break up but i still have things in her house that i need to get once the house is sold. That means, that i might not be able to complete the 30 days of silence. Does that mean that i once i have collected my things i need to start over again with the 30 days of silence?

    I was in an LDR for over a year. We have met each other irl plenty of times and it has always gone great. One of the best experiences for both of us. But the relationship ended cause of my insecurities. I had no contact with her for a month and a half until I sent her a letter for reconciliation and didn’t get a response. Few days later I sent her a text and asked if she got it and still got no response. Then I texted her on a different platform asking the same question then finally I got a response saying she doesn’t want me to wait for her and just wants me to take care of my self. I told her I understand but tried to ask to hang out casually to which I got no response. Did I blow my chances? I haven’t messaged her since and it has been a week so far. I feel like I could at least get a no.

      A long distance relationship requires a solid foundation for it to work, not to mention an enormous amount of trust with each other. The former always precedes the latter. My ex cheated on me and lied about it many times and I dumped him. After break up I "revenged" it with someone we both know because at the moment I wanted to make sure that we would never get back together. The most immature thing to do really. Well, after two months of no contact we started to talk and date again with my ex as I had been processing giving him another chance. When it came to having a fresh start, I needed to confess him what I had done and now we are back in the beginning. I think I will now give him time to process things. He says he still loves me but will never love me the same and wants no relationship with me. I don't really know how to move on from here as I was ready to start again but couldn't hide a thing like this because eventually it would have come up from someone.

    Hey brad, what if my ex blocked me during no contact. My ex blocked me for no reason. But she reached out 3 weeks ago. I didn't ignored her at all. But she blocked me by saying she thinks we should not be connected. She broke up with me for argument. It was a long term relationship. She blocked me again during no contact for no reason. Can she move on faster by doing this? Or she will eventually unblock me. What should I do to fix those coz she blocked me from everywhere.

    • @BradBrowning
      @BradBrowning  3 года назад

      Unless you've done something really epic to mess things up or really hurt your ex, there's no reason to worry as much, really, because it could be due to the top 3 reasons I've stated on this vid: y2u.be/fjtv90o9bkI Blocking you could just be your ex’s way of coping so I wouldn’t worry too much about it if I were you, at least not initially. If you stay blocked after months though, then that’s another story, especially if you have no other means of communication or have no mutual friends. More about that on here: ruclips.net/video/5UT92IB5ugs/видео.html Anyway social media should be the least of your concerns. Focus on all three phases and your ex may naturally unblock you, in time, as you learn to rebuild that attraction and re-attract this ex back to your life.. • @BradBrowning
      @BradBrowning  2 года назад

      Sorry but it doesn't work that way though. If you do have to make some changes, then do it for yourself and never for anyone else, okay? See, making changes for the sake of someone is considered seeking validation, and that's an unattractive trait in and of itself… so it naturally won't do anything to rebuild the attraction necessary to get your ex back in the long run. On the other hand, if these are changes that you know within yourself that you need to make, then it's important to take time so be sure you aren’t rushing it because permanent, lasting changes don't happen overnight and your ex can actually see through it. Also, pain (that's why your ex dumped you) is a very good teacher and motivator not to mention a huge catalyst, so making these changes within yourself in order for the possibility to come back together stronger and better is what you can expect and you will be able to use this progress if not for your ex, then with someone new. Does that make sense? With that in mind, watch this vid to subtly show these changes to your ex: ruclips.net/video/bZ1KetALZrc/видео.html

    i recently went into no contact about a week ago but i fear i did it too harshly and possibly ruined our chances forever. i told him he was a bad person for how he treated me during our relationship and how shitty it was for him to go back to his ex and then i blocked him. right after the breakup i was also quite emotional and let him know how badly i was doing. did i mess up too much?

      I really hate to burst your bubble here but let him finish whatever unfinished business he has with this ex. Sorry, but there's not much you can do at this point, especially if your relationship only lasted a short while and more so if he’s seemingly (subconsciously or not) used you as a rebound, for your ex to jump back too quickly with her. Good luck and I hope you find the right guy for you soon!

    hey brad ive got a few questions first if im doing no contact could i still keep streaks with her ? also what if she said from the breakup that she stopped loving me does that decrease the chance of getting her back ?

    • @BradBrowning
      @BradBrowning  3 года назад

      You can keep those, however, I don't suggest you do as it may make you obsessed or be in unnecessary (additional) pain, especially if you get tempted to break the 30-day "no contact" rule. It also would have a tendency to keep you stuck in the past instead of dealing with things in the present and accepting the breakup. So that's your call to do so, just heed my warnings. You both have to process the breakup first and go through all that pain and slowly let go of the bad memories...It is a process, but this is what the "no contact" rule is for, to help both of you move forward from that pain. A reconciliation with an ex means there will be a new (thus the old relationship be considered as over) relationship between you two where the lessons of the past are taken into consideration in order to resolve it to create a better relationship in the future. Does that make sense? Give your ex time to let go of the bad memories, however, this won't happen overnight and for sure takes time, so don't rush. Follow the tips on my other vids, especially this one: ruclips.net/video/FLeP1eRCkCk/видео.html Good luck!

      Clear out any miscommunication with her. However, it does boil down to trust. If she doesn't trust you and assuming you haven't lied or cheated on her or made her think you did, then she has issues to sort out on her own. You can't help her on that, unfortunately. It's hers to resolve alone. If you've flirted with someone else though, then you have some apologizing to do. Without knowing the full situation, it's hard to tell. Just apply the tips in many of my videos, whichever is applicable. Good luck!

    Hey Brad I am in need of your advice. She broke up with me and I admit I have many mistakes that she just got tired. It was toxic and she quit a week ago and I begged her alot. I texted her, called and even go to their house. She knew I was desperate so she let me talk to her though messenger only. We've been casually chatting but she clearly said she is doing it for my stability and she has no feelings for me anymore. All she remembers is the negative memories. I stumbled on your videos and I apologized to her about my desperation for the last couple of days and just wished her the best. I played it chill. She said that it's okay and she isn't angry. Now it's my 1st day of no contact and I am doing my best to make it at least 30 days. My only fear is that I will lose her even more.

      The pandemic does its number to new/blooming relationships or long-term relationships that became rocky before the virus caused a worldwide (or at least in many countries) lockdown. Nothing left to do but to use your time productively and change your perception for a bit and see this as an opportunity for a lot of things. Pain is also a great catalyst, so use that to work on things within yourself that you know needed some work. Here's my stance on the matter: bit.ly/3bn8bPN

      If you're still in the "no contact" phase and your ex has initiated the breakup, then your ex might be trying to provoke you so don't fall for that drama about you ignoring her...unless she was trying to talk to you about something really important. Anyway tell your ex you've been busy... and it really helps if you are. So take steps to rebuild your life first. If she's really the love of your life, she should act like it with you, instead of running off with someone else. I know it's hard and may even feel like everything will slip away the moment you cut off contact, but trust me when I say this can really do a lot of benefit to your ex and you as well as your relationship as you'd both be in a clearer headspace to deal with each other when the time comes and therefore less mistakes made that will send your ex running for the hills further. I get this question a lot so I wouldn't be surprised if you've found your answer before I even get to it -- if you've checked my other videos, that is. In this type of situation, try to limit your contact with your ex. And by that I mean only interact with him/her "only" when absolutely necessary. Watch one of the latest videos I've posted here: ruclips.net/video/dDZrnNh8LOg/видео.html Your case is actually one of the few cases where the “no contact” rule is an exception...but DON'T initiate random contact in any way and don’t make any unnecessary chitchats, all right? It's still important to put the full 30-day straight "no contact" rule into priority because if you've been in touch after the breakup too soon, then you BOTH aren't taking the time needed to process the breakup and been acting like it hadn't happened. Here's how not contacting your ex can help you a lot: ruclips.net/video/zw0ChuXCEmw/видео.html Burying the problems which had caused the breakup in the first place is a surefire way towards a doomed relationship, if you get your ex back. Which is I don't know if you ever saw the show it's full if it's full of sex and sexual in the windows those. And it's really confusing if really confusing there's times that she'll sit really close to me other times when I say goodbye to her at the end of the night she stands a little further away There's a few times that I can touch her on the arm or touch her on the leg very mixed signals. I want to do the note contact but how do I do it and what's the right way since her and I have been hanging

    Also Brad as the dumper I was thinking of taking a break from social media for like a month i feel mentally down when I watch her stories. Weirdly enough I haven’t been block or removed from social media yet. im not sure why though I’m not complaining at all. I just thought she would have gotten rid of me off everything which in a way it does feel like that since she has ignored me since the breakup. I only sent 4 messages the last one was an I miss you message 3 weeks ago.

      Maybe stop trying to look at your ex's profile/messages/snaps, posts, etc.? An essential part of the "no contact" rule is to turn your focus inwards for a good 30 days straight, and looking at what your ex is doing and whatnot largely deviates from that point, don't you think? Discussed that here, too: ruclips.net/video/MroLZ7XK9gY/видео.html

    What if after no contract she’s acting hot n cold so I just be positive . Been talking for months
    Then she’s acting cold with always short answered like “hahaha what “ “lovely” “cool hahaha”
    after the whole sentences we’ve been talking.
    Then I was doing wrong we’ve been talking then she just left and dont answer again so this time I sent her back said “you’re gone? Then she had no respond but I sent
    “I give up “ then she urgently said hahahaha whattt?
    But I just go do other things and read next days and no respond for a month (30 day NC) because I feel she is acting like she ‘s still emotional and see so cold to me then on the day 33th I opened the chat she deleted her account and created a new one with the slightly the same name just changed from her name’s abbreviation to full name’s written so I know this is new and she deleted the old one
    So question is should I contract her? I was gonna reaching to her with positive and funny talking.
    (She’s a strongly stubborn girl. We break up because of missed understanding when we’re on long distance relationship) pls help me
    Thank you in advance Brad you’re the best!!!

      Don't text too much. I hope I'm wrong but it seems like you're overextending yourself here. Ideally wait for her to initiate a conversation with you as well. For the most part, I think you're on the right track, though, assuming you've done the first phase (30-day "no contact" rule) correctly and basically had set the stage for this second part. Make sure you don't panic. Be sure to check out my other videos for more tips on how to go about this, especially this: y2u.be/gUBNd6pDINM Since you've only recently reconnected, then don't expect your ex to warm up easily. Are you sure you're not trying to rush it? Setting a deadline is a good way to fail when it comes to exes, so I highly discourage it. What steps have you taken to get your ex back? It's time to re-assess those and see what's working versus what's not working. @Brad Browning thank you Brad, I was on your stage re-kindle attraction. She was contracted me and we’ve been talking for like 8 months we’ve met eating lunch once and It’s covid19 so we just talked via chat. Then she acting hot and then cold like after I said the word I suddenly went on 30 days NC . So I wondering now she deleted her account and created new one which is like the same. should I do re-initiate contract her via her new account or just waiting ??. So I’m confusing because she deleted her account . And this re-new second time. So I can do initiate contract her right? It’s been 35days now

    Brad Browning, one of my exes added me on Facebook this Summer and told me that we’ll hang out one day with her boyfriend. I’ve actually known her since elementary school. She even told me that she told him nice things about me. He was even happy and wanted to meet me. She even happily thanked me for cards. However, just 2 days ago, he told me that he wasn’t with her, that he would appreciate if I didn’t call her anymore and not to call her number anymore. She and I share some friends. Do you think that a 45+ day no-contact technique would be better than the mere 30-day no-contact technique? I’m just curious. I think that it would. I’m not sure if 30 days would be enough in a situation like this. I think that at least 41 days might be better.

    • @BradBrowning
      @BradBrowning  Год назад

      Average time is 30 days but can go anywhere from 4 to 6 weeks in usual cases. If there's been some endless begging and/or refusing to cut off contact on your end, however, I usually suggest to give it more time, around 2 months or even more. Cheating instances are different if you've cheated, could be longer or shorter depending on how your ex reacts. Do take note that in some instances where the dumpee just couldn't take the hint and continually bugs their ex for months, there comes a time where the ex reaches a "breaking point" and confirms it's the right decision to break up and becomes hellbent in moving on from you. So the bottom line is the "no contact" rule is best applied when the breakup is still fresh. Discussed the importance of silence here: ruclips.net/video/zw0ChuXCEmw/видео.html Also don't forget to watch my other vids so you'll know what to do after the "no contact" phase, especially if you're not getting my Ex Factor Guide. Good luck!

    just a couple months ago we were on very good terms like we both had crushes on each other. a month ago i felt that she was playing with my emotions and was leading me on so i dropped her and said some nasty things that i regret now but they were true and spoken from the heart. after 2 weeks of no contact she texted me and i texted back and she gave me no response… i thought it was odd for her to do that but maybe her texting me first was a sign she still wanted me. i never stopped liking her i just needed a break. we havnt spoken at all, after the month of no contact was up, i reached out with a friendly question and did not get a response, shes ignoring me. please i need help, im in love with her still but now it feels like we are awkward strangers and it sucks. is there anything i can do???

    Hey Brad me and my ex have been broken up for about 3 weeks and the first week we were still talking until she blocked me. I had tried out the waiting game on her for two weeks and gave up and this whole week I’ve been trying to contact her over and over again I’m blocked on every social media platform she may have. Even if I try to contact her on another individuals phone. But i get nothing not a single word. She treats me pretty bad if I go to her house or try to speak to her in person in any way. And to be completely honest she’s broken up with me hundreds of times and this time she hasn’t given me a single chance. I had tried to be patient but nothing had happened so it’s come to the present where like i said i did what i tried to do this whole week, but nothing. :(

      Her behaviour suggests she really needs space from you, man. It would be a mistake to try and force things to work at this point. At the very least, though, you really need to stop all contact for at least 30 days and not push it. Being needy or too forceful for your ex to talk to you will only alienate them further. If you've done the 30-day "no contact" rule correctly, this is a pretty common theme as well, unfortunately. Your ex is in a vulnerable place right now. If your ex has a mental disorder like depression, bipolar disorder, IED, NPD, or the like, the most loving thing you can do is to give each other space while he/she gets help. Encourage your ex to seek treatment because clinical depression is something only a therapist specializing on this can handle, even this is outside of my scope. But I can help you how to handle things on YOUR end as you go through this difficult ordeal. I know it can be incredibly tough knowing you’ve given it your best shot, yet your partner still fails to appreciate it or is breaking up despite it being a good relationship. Anyway it's a bad idea to be friends with an ex especially knowing they have a mental health condition. In the end, they will drain you and leave you with lots of scars that would take years of therapy. Consider signing up for my coaching program so I can help assess your situation clearly, look at all the other factors at play and see things you might have missed, then guide you accordingly on a regular, ongoing basis at www.breakupbrad.com/coaching

      He could still be confused but that's a pretty positive sign, especially since he absolutely doesn't have to send that kind of message to you. He may just need a subtle push. Here's this to consider: ruclips.net/video/xbDPq23YaNE/видео.html so be sure to take the free quiz at www.breakupbrad.com/quiz However, that kind of behaviour coming from your ex is somewhat expected after a breakup. That's why you ought to give it enough time where there's totally no contact between you and your ex for at least 30 days. A wide array of different emotions coming from an ex is somewhat expected when a breakup is still fresh and this includes the likelihood of your ex giving you mixed or weird signals. She said she didn't have much time to talk on the phone but she wanted a friend to talk to. that voicemail was 2 months before I called back multiple times when she asked me not to text her. its been a month since then and I haven't reached out. @@BradBrowning

      If your ex has ghosted you or blocked you everywhere where contact is impossible and you can't text/call/email, then I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but it may be over for good. It's one of the things I've discussed here: ruclips.net/video/FP8YmErEOW8/видео.html
