*The contribution of Indians from India in the US is just unbelievable. The US tech industry wouldn't be this dominating globally if it wasn't for the contributions and the leadership of the Indian people from India - Google, Microsoft, Adobe, IBM, Palo Alto Networks, RUclips, NetApp, Micron Technology, Zscaler... the list just goes on... all these companies have Indian-origin CEOs.*

Business people using all kinds of tactics they perfect in negotiation (manipulation) classes because they have nothing else to practice, and applying them on my guy who actually build useful stuff. That is disrespectful
ChatGPT also has real-time search now. One big difference for me is the user experience and interface. Perplexity outputs data in a more readable and user friendly way for me. Another difference is that it optimizes for choosing the best LLM model to help it generate. It can use Sonnet, Llama, 4o, etc. I also trust it more since it’s a whole company focused on optimizing search. And they have nice side features like discovery, where they feature articles on top current events. I also like their design. Lots to like about Perplexity.
Because they're competitors, will you give it to your opponent so easily? And being backed by all the people/investors who don't support Google? I don't think so
I use it like 40 times a day, it is insanely good for research and formal presentations to senior teams
nigga this is the best tool
This was a fantastic interview, great insights; thank you so much!
Excellent interview and guest. Thank you.

One day I am going to make it like him.
Put in the work and your time will come

This interviewer is painful. So stiff and robotic. Does not bring any warmth.
I don't think so. She seems energetic and charismatic, and letting the guest speak. Kudos to her.
what is the host doing... She managed to make aravind uncomfortable by playing with perplexity for only one minute.

Perplexity “how do i know if my interview format will actually be engaging from the start”
I’m pretty old for this stuff, but can someone tell me again, how’s this perplexity thing different to what Open AI is already doing 😛
VCs need to diversify funding.
@@Rohanlekhwani false! Perplexity is real time, OpenAI is not!

Open AI doesn't provide answers with citations (links to website). Perplexity's answers are more academic style and accurate than chatgpt

"Perplexity , what would Aravind answer to these questions ?"
nice
Interesting
FIIIRSTTT!!
perpexity is superior
i m from Berkeley
This is soooo sad. Why even have him on stage? Just share your screen and ask questions for perplexity to answer as him.
Fake it till you make it
Fking free perplexing pro for Stanford rich kids!!
Cancelled Perplexity after a month. It's just another OpenAI wrapper
cool
this is just a RAG framework, isn't it?
it's hard to know if people admitted to GSB are based on woke or merit. this school pride comes across so fake, like in this interview.
You either know what it takes to get into a business school like this, or you’ve never been to a T10 institution.
Isn't it just another ChatGpt wrapper
That's our buoy!
