It’s a beautiful guitar, a great review and a great song. I don’t know which I’m gonna choose, if the all Mahogany or this sunburst. Thank you for this.
As someone with the sunburst, all I can say is that the Mahogany looks 10 times better imo. Don't know as to sound though since I never tried that one.
Unlike most new guitars it's not bleak sounding. Shall sound fuller, bassier with more playing time (and new strings perhaps.) Edit: that's a very catchy riff. Good job.

Brilliant Review John, I just bought a Fender CD 140 SCE today, ait hase scolloped upper bracing and new bone nut and bridge saddle. Ineleiev mine has the jack plug in the rear stap mount combined. It looks like a fine instrument to me also i asked for a string change to 10s. I believe 12s are too heavy for an acoustic and just add extra stress on the neck more then tone. Also 10s are lighter to bend. I consider myself an intermediate player just started learning doing solo guitar singing performances. Its great fun more like campfire level at the moment but working on improving daily now. I just subbed your channel and watching from South Australia. Cheers.

They definitely lost me with their, 'Reproductive harm?' Perhaps it is a warning never to eat your guitar because it's not kosher?

Yes, it is a good all rounder.
