Thank you Chris. Cool and centered review and that was really nice playing for the demo. If I lived in San Antonio I would already get one guitar from you guys. Nice balanced tone out of the mahogany CD-140sce... Deffinitively one has to go big with a dreadnought for that sound. I will hear this again to appreciate the CC-140. Personally I keep looking for a small body that can give a balanced bass and highs even it is not so loud.

Just tested a Fender CC 140 CE, a Fender PM2 All solid mahagony, a Yamaha FG 850 and a Yamaha LL6 rosewood, in shopp, all unplugged. All of them great guitars and the CC140 is the cheapest from the four, and impressed me the most. The CC140 was the spruce/ovangkol combination. Very impressed with the sound. A punchy, rich sound guitar. A comfortable to play, nice finish and affordable guitar. For the price and the quality of the sound you can not go wrong with this Fender CC 140... A Takamine GN51 owner....

@@nirvanaturkiyesubesi @M Hy. I own the Takamine GN51 simple without electronics and has no cutaway. The Fender I tested is the shop was electro-acoustic with cutaway... But I tested it unplugged and the sound was preaty similar to the Takamine but not so full (the Tak GN51 is a bit bigger than Fender CC 140) and maybe that's the reason. Now I preffer the Takamine for a few reasons... I do not like cutaway guitars (it's matter of taste), and do not use electro-acoustics if possible. I like to hear the sound of the tonewoods (again matter of taste). But the main reason is that my Tak is rosewood back and side, rosewood fingerboard and bridge. The Fender is ovangkoal back and sides, walnut bridge and fingerboard.... So Fender uses cheaper materials to build CC140 for same price as Tak GN51, , but I consider that it a good guitar for it's price... I preffer rosewood guitars over other tonewoods for their specific sound (had also a full solid spruce/santos rosewood (or Pau Ferro) GA guitar but sold it and now I regret). So Rosewood is rosewood and after the 2017 become more expensive and many manufacturers renounce it because of the hygher price.... But be careful because Takamine GN51 cutaway electro-acoustic is walnut back and sides.... But if it is no problem for you the tonewood, you can check for Alvarez spruce/mahagony or all mahagony guitars also... Just great great guitars for the price....I also want to buy an Alvarez LJ2 for it's smaller size for travel, and 44.6 mm nut wide. So have a great time...

      @nirvanaturkiyesubesi 2 года назад +1

@@antalnagy8075 Thank you so much! But I think i like Takamine's materials more ,because I also prefer rosewood in back and sides (my cousin had a Taylor, which is way too expensive and it also uses rosewood.), so I guess I'll go for the Takamine GN51 or GN71. GN71 is a electro-acoustic guitar but I think it will help me while I'm recording, thank you so much again!

Best review on RUclips on these upgraded Fender CD140-CC140's
    Rosewood...
    I've had played several older CD140's vs Yamaha FG800-830 & FG850
I prefer the newer 800 series Yamaha over the older CD140's
    Also,
For me there was no different in sound at all on the FG800 and the FG850 except the looks..
So for only $199 the FG800 is the best out there for that price range..
    But,
These newer CD -140's with rosewood sides and backs..Hard Shell case and the Nubone nut and saddle...
    And the easy play neck...
How a acoustic feels is almost as important as the sound it makes..
    Fender wins !!
Yamaha has no case and a plastic bone & saddle..
Plastic does hurt the sound... Bone or the Nubone is a must...
So that saves you $75 -$100 to get that done by a shop...
So in my book if $$ we're hard to come by...
Buy the Yamaha FG-800 but your getting a great guitar with great upgrades...with these fenders..

Sound was no where close to the Yamaha's FG or FS'800 series models...
