Clockwork Night has the same effect with Earth Machine synergy as well for an alternative, or basically 6 copies and way easier to draw against Tenpai.
Ghost ogre could have more utility than just on the field spell, but it would help a lot. It could snipe one of the tenpais trying to synchro. Book of Eclipse could be a thought as well. Strike stops the synchro summon, effects, and could even stop some key hand traps for a push. 1500 isn’t a heft cost either
Love that Melodious finally relevant as a Melodious enthusiast since 2016 and across playtesting with their new support and doing a few tinkering, Melodious, if my 7-3 record against Tenpai Dragons is anything to go by, I would like to think Melodious will definitely see a sharp incline in usage as the match up against Tenpai Dragon is seriously favourable. Melodious with the Aria/Elegy lock, Etoile, Bloom Diva and due to being able to play a ton of non engine or other tech cards, they can afford to run battle handtraps like Honest and their own archetype version- Score with basically no issues. Even with the new support which searches quite a bit, my playtesting with a playset of Mistake has proven quite useful because Melodious do not search outside of the new support. Better players than me are out there, but from my own playtesting, Tenpai Dragons have not been an issue at all. I feel as long as you deck build and side properly, Tenpai Dragons can be stopped. I just don't think they will be as big an issue like we have seen with Snake Eye/Fire King.
are you testing pure melodious or a different build? ive seen some stuff on melodious supreme arc stuff as well as lightsworn melodious and have been interesting in trying those out
Mmm what about soundproof or winter cherry? You can banish one of the Synchro Dragons specially the one that negates the activation and effect of monsters during the battle phase. Or maybe spellbound, wall of light or even swords of revealing light. You can search numeron wall and battle fader with the new yubel field spell
Black Goat on the main deck tuner (orange one) can be really bad because they can chain their quickplay or normal summon it while Black Goat doesn't prevent special summons from the GY. So you get better mileage by calling the lvl7 synchro tuner. D-Barrier is good, but many lists also include the Zealantis Promethean Phoenix OTK line so if this is the only interruption you can get, it's better to secure a turn by setting a Roar instead. This is a coinflip though, because if they don't play the link package for otks they will then build a mini dragon link board.
@@geogreysword I played against that deck and they had a card that floodgates 1000 atk or lower monsters so you can’t summon fader it’s a side card against snake eyes and it works I loss that duel.
@@TheSupermannbatman also learned they are capable of running shifter so that can ruin scarecrow. Maybe we should rely on traps over monsters for these dragons. I would put on my hopes on thunder or ruler, roar, waboku or negate atk
@@geogreysword They can play around all those cards activating in BP by making the lvl10 safely during MP so you cant activate anything. Thunder of Ruler can lose to Cosmic/Twin Twisters in draw phase. So the best card of all these is Threatening Roar because it doesn't even let them attack to get the bonus effects while you can set it with Thrust since they run 15-22 handtraps. @TheSupermannbatman Power filter is played to counter Yubel that otherwise can be a super nasty matchup due to Nightmare Pain reflecting the damage back to them.
EDIT: I was wrong, Wattkinetic Puppeteer could work. I still think usual staples can work, so leaving the rest of the comment here in case anyone finds it useful. ---- If you're unfamiliar with Seals, they have 2 effects (and thus 2 chains). The first one tributes a monster as a COST from the field or hand for a non-targeted bounce (which normally tributes seals) The second one is a floating effect where if seals were tributed they summon a dragon from the deck, and THAT's the one you want to stop. (Also the reason of why you should never Kaiju seals) Since seals is on the GY when it triggers, your normal suspects Called by the Grave, Skull Meister, or Ash (for the second effect) work well. IIRC you can also D.D.Crow or Bystial Seals on the -first chain-, and since it moved out of the GY no longer counts as being tributed and the floating effect does not trigger. Finally forcing an early interaction (imperm, lightning storm etc) will just force seals to use their effect. However! If there are no other faceup (bounceable) card on the field they'll be forced to tribute a monster from their hand to bounce seals (or let seals die). If they left something like a field spell or a continous spell/trap, they can just bounce that instead, to summon something from the deck.

@@Squiddys so spookey isnt once per turn it stays in affect till your oppent end his turn and it can activate during the battle step so they have to perform at least 4 summons to make trident live and 2 of there synchro plays befopre hand your going to plus 5600 life plus the trident 3000k plus the tenpai dragons themselves they wont be able to do lethal and they over use their resources
@@damonr4749 tridint alone is 18000 dmg by himself. and the othar tenpais do equivalent to how much u gain. if u do the math all out u still die even under spooky .-.

Zombie World is a turn skip, all of their effects require to have a fire dragon either on board or in gy in order to function
