    You're missing Kashtira Fenrir as a house against the deck. He's a real problem. Any main phase effects and Fenrir can banish the field spell, and battle phase effects he triggers on a new chain to force very awkward timing. He's specifically lines up well against the level 7 synchro in battle.

    • @babrad
      @babrad 5 месяцев назад +4

      So you start with Chundra instead of Paidra, then use effects during damage step where fen can't activate, while the typical combo will allow you to keep a free lvl3 on the field that can chain in response to fen dodging the banish at the cost of losing the attack of the synchro 7.
      And that's if Fen even survives because they drew LS and you put it in defense instead of Imperm Droplet (and I've seen lists with Raigeki as well as Santa)

    Play Scareclaw and see Tenpai players desperately to out Tri - Heart, if your deck can affort to play Apollousa, you can affort to play Tri- Heart, you don't even need other Scareclaw monsters. He can be a one- off in your extra deck because he just needs 3 effect monsters to be made.

    One thing about Kiki Fucho: Santa claws removes that card as an issue.
    Also Spooky Dogwood is able to help keep you from losing (unless they can resolve Trident’s effect + pop the field spell and another S/T)
    Lastly there Daruma Cannon. If you have a face up monster and resolve it, they either have to flip their Tenpais face down or send them to the Gy if the field spell is live.

    • @jeanpitre5789
      @jeanpitre5789 5 месяцев назад +2

      Spooky dogwood is generally a tournament card used not because it's good but because time limits are a thing. If you're going to time in game three, your best option is to side in dogwood or if it's your choice, make your opponent go first to activate dogwood on their turn, that way regardless how long they take, you'll win to time and they will be very aware of that forcing them to either end on a smaller board in hopes they'll get another turn, or full combo as much as they can being forced first and still lose to time while you play out your turn.

    • @Jaganphotos
      @Jaganphotos 5 месяцев назад +2

      @@jeanpitre5789 I know the normal use for Dogwood. In the case of Tenpai it can potentially keep you alive. Only problem monster is trident - would need a negate for that one

    If you're playing Chimera, play Emmisary of the House of Wax. They already need to commit to something like a board whipe to get rid of illusions on the board. Then on attack of Trident Dragion you can special summon it, they can't OTK you nor can they use their remaining monsters for a link play. Basically stops them dead in their tracks. Also Master Tao on board usually means you'll live the turn

    Droplet is ok, along with any Spells or Traps. You have to shotgun them because Tenpai Techs in Anti-Magic Arrows. So not only does it stop you from using S/Ts, but you cannot respond to it.
    And if it’s their turn, turn player prio lets them use it first.

    The answer for some players might be to just play a deck that hits harder. As much as people meme on it, HERO has crazy extension and could probably play through Tenpai's disruption while putting monsters on the board that just beat over their dragons. They'd also have to deal with Masked HERO Acid blowing up the field spell, which HERO decks can easily set up because they have a really strong search network.
    Personally, I might experiment with my Amazoness deck since the fusions give my monsters protection from all sorts of shit (that and because i think the deck has a better plan going first than something like HERO). I run DPE in the deck for going first, so in a meta build, you could run both DPE and SP along side each other to also check other decks. Only thing you have to worry about at that point is what sort of hand traps your opponent is running, but admittedly, i don't know if Bystials are a main deck choice when both the top decks are fire attribute decks.
    DPE could be a safe pick, it could definitely steal a win game 1. And since its a battle phase deck, you'd just run over your opponent if you lose the die roll.

    • @babrad
      @babrad 5 месяцев назад +1

      No need for Acid. Dark Angel will completely wall them. With Dark Law on the field they can only Droplet for 1 (assuming DPE) so unless they open a boardwipe as well or a combo for Black Rose or Belle, Neos Wingman will cook them in BP.

      They break your end board with super poly and duster, storm. No effects during MP1 and no Monster during BP so no shining neos or DPE or anything.
      I have seen Tenpai twice and got destroyed, they run 20 handtraps and breakers its hard to even set up but if you can go second you can get a win. Im trying to figure out some better ways to prepare for them cause Hero wants to normally go first. You do not want to go first against them.... But you dont know what your VSing. And as i said they have all the HTs and Super poly when you do go 2nd to wreck you. Have to get lucky and they dont have enough go stop you

    Reading the comments. You guys are missing one hand trap that will beat this deck. Only one comment knows about it. DO NOT USE ASH BLOSSOM but use Spooky Dog Wood. This is where this card beats Ash Blossom. They can attack as much as they like but they will not be able to OTK because Spooky Dog Wood gives you life points even in battle phase. This is the era of the battle phase. I have told everyone that this deck will be a problem and beat Snake Eye because this is just the beginning. Get your Dog Woods people.

      They can OTK under Spooky Dogwood if they can pop field spell with Trident so Trident will give additional 15k damage, bypassing LP gain from Dogwood

    • @MSTTV
      @MSTTV  5 месяцев назад +1

      Pretty sure they can otk through dogwood.
      Trident Dragion itself is 18000 damage.
      But let’s do some math.
      3000 for super transcendence likely will attack so 0
      2700 can attack so 0
      2700 2nd summon so 0
      Most monster will zero out except the normal and for each monster you have.
      And that also means you need block 7000 damage to survive the turn under dogwood for the offset.
