Everything held up surprisingly well. The cereal was still crunchy, the battery was clean enough that he was willing to handle it without gloves. That it all held up so well is probably the scariest thing about it though

What stuck with me the most was the odd aroma and flavor which I couldn't place as a young boy. 30+ years later I think of this cereal every time I have a cup of hazelnut coffee because it's the closest approximation I can think of...
