This is my first mower I bought new it is the best investment I've ever made , I love Toro I also bought the 25cc blower & weedeater Toro is awesome I stand behind Toro 100%.
Agreed. I only had one minor issue with this mower. It was an easy fix. No problems after that. I have an hour meter on it and I’m almost at 100 hrs with no issues.
Dope I got the same one. Review on my channel. But anyway my front right wheel has broke. So be careful of that. A lot ppl on Facebook told me that’s probably the first thing to break. And mines did. Idk how or what. Anyway enjoy your mower. I’m still enjoying mines.
Hi my name is Bruce and I have a toro 30inch also and I had the same problem with the motor cutting off in wet grass so I found out how to speed up my engine so it would run a little faster and now I do not have that problem any more the throttle adjustment is under the air filter were the governor spring and throttle spring is their is a you tube video on how to set the right speed.
Hey i respect the hustle man . Just started my own lawn service business 2 months ago and I’m going places . If you ever need help let me know . I live in Pearland. Like 25 mins from spring .
@@flashhobbies For the love of god, this is not a 10 HP machine.. It has a 10 feet pound of torque while the output power is 7HP... You can find that with a 5 min Google search..
Ive been waiting for a video like this for a while! I'm currently saving to purchase my mower, trimmer, blower, etc. I've been looking at the Toro mowers and was thinking about getting the 21" super Recycler but after u compared the time with the 21" on those 3 properties, I was impressed. Thank you
I've been using a Toro for ever since 2012 yard Center that thick in that hind you should double cut raise the mower and double cut it if you're going to mulch you're going to mow too much grass at once the mower not going to be able to handle it and I have to be scraping that deck an awful lot the great mower though to use it the right way
8:21 It is obvious that no mowers like thick and wet grass. That is completely normal, like rain, all cars do not like rain at all. The deck will be like a grass magnet, that is 100 percent normal. Especially mulching the grass
I bought mine for Martinez scape semi new on offer up for 250 for wat i payed for it I stole it been makeing me money saving time I was thinking on getting a 36 with a velkie but no sense when I gt this one i hope last a while next season definitely getting another
I use the side shoot, and yes it still bogs down. The size of the shoot is very limiting for the amount it cuts at the same time. It gets clogged in the shoot. Still a fantastic machine though. I have about 136 hrs of run time on it.
It appears that you have the chute flap off and the side discharge door down (as if you intended to mulch). You are also cutting that grass way too short. Raise the deck up and put the discharge chute back on and you'll be amazed at how much better your yards will look.
I actually have a video coming out soon on it. I had recently hit 100 hrs of runtime with it. Besides basic regular maintenance the machine has run great!
Electric Cuts I have about 30 hours of run time on it. I do, but I do stand by what I originally said. This mower does not like wet grass, it’s bogs down really bad. Other than that a great machine
If you buy the timemaster with the Briggs for commercial use....be prepared and ready to repower to a Kohler, Honda or Suzuki motor when the Briggs craps out....which it will, sooner than later.
Change the oil religiously as soon as it goes brown, replace the air fillter evertime you change the oil and keep the valves in spec.. The motor will outlast all of us if you look after it. I have a toro 22" ...which has seen better days, the motor is as tight as it was when it was new...everything is wornout or broken
Greetings from the UK. I punished my Timemaster for three years in my mowing business. The blade belt was changed and the drive cable broke. The front wheel bearings are cheap rubbish and will sieze. I greased all the bearings after every season and run ghis mower into the ground. In the end the transmission went. The engine was knocking and the stop switch had broken. The average house owner will be happy with the timemaster. Im getting a turfmaster next but i am tempted to get the timemaster and just abuse it over three years and scrap it. Still cost effective for me
I wanted to buy one of these mowers but Toro is just NOT listening. The .3 gallon / 1.2 quart fuel tank is so stupid for a mower with a 30 inch deck. Come on Toro, what the heck are you thinking. I was so perplexed when I saw this. And to boot, they have that stupid blue sponge inside the tank that takes up what little capacity you have for fuel space. No way am I stopping that many times to fill a fuel tank that often. JUST PLAIN STUPID! Purchased a different brand.
Tom Boyd the commercial ex mark version has a 1 gallon fuel capacity but it is more expensive. I’ve been pretty happy with it. What mower did you end up getting?
@@flashhobbies I felt the ExMark was high for me as well. believe it or not, i went with the Kubota WG6 because I love to cut grass for exercise and It can go 4.1 mph. It really wasn't the 30 inch cut that was so important to me. If the gas tank was much bigger, it would be in my garage. But then again, I really like Kubota anything. Smaller cut, but like I said, speed was what was my priority.
You keep saying 10 hp. It is not claiming 10hp. It is 10 lbs. gross torque- not the same thing. Still bigger than other walk-behind mowers, but no more than 6.5- 7 hp. Also, Toro does not market this as a commercial mower, which is how you are using it. It is a great machine but it is a residential/consumer mower on steroids. This would also explain the normal size gas tank.
cherokeefiddler your points are very valid. I did say 10hp by mistake, I did mean 10 lbs torque. I looked into the commercial model and the engine is a Kawasaki but it’s inky a 179cc motor, this is a 223cc and it’s half the cost. Shouldn’t struggle as much as it did.

Congrats on the growth and recent purchases.
Jeremy Smith thanks!
I used to have a lawn service in the tomball area. Around 80 yards a week. Hard work by yourself. Good reveiw. Have you looked at the Y-bravo mowers?
BullgearRC videos nope, never heard of them. I’ll have to look into them.

I'm trying to understand why this mower was $999, but the two on HD's website right now are $1200 and $1300...
Pandemic pricing
raise the cutting height some per the instructions yea does cut nicely
Yup, I’m learning

It looks good. The grass was tall and wet.
Always edge and blow the large clippings back into the yard before mowing. Job comes out cleaner

Question I do lawn care and the question is do you still have that mower
Would it bogged down if you would have used the side discharge? It is a decent, powerful engine for the size.

Thanks for the review. I am actually thinking about getting one for myself..
New begging U.S.A no problem. I have enjoyed the machine very much since I posted this and I will be doing a follow up review at 25hrs or runtime.
Hey man, any time you cut tall grass you need to side discharge. Any mowers struggle to mulch tall grass. Great video though.
I just picked one of these mowers up today...I can't wait to give it a try 💪
How is it? 1800 after tax in Canadian. Hate that it bogs for the price. Right now I have Honda hrn

Thank you for the review sir. Is this all wheel drive? Or rear wheels?
Rear. It’s been a great machine. I have almost 90 hrs on it. Only had to replace one belt.
For discharge is better to open up the back
Awesome! I’ll try it this week. Thanks!
How is you time master doing now

Are you sure it's a 10HP? I heard they were rated 5-6HP
It’s 10 ft-lbs not HP

Timemaster is their residential mower. I'm looking into spending the extra money, and getting the Turfmaster..
No issues doing that many yards? How does it do on hills?
I don’t have any issues with hills. The personal pace keeps up pretty well
It's underpowered still big time. The motor burns out within months because of it.
Over priced for what it is 699 for Honda hrx the motors last for 10-15 years
I don’t disagree that Honda motors are better, but unfortunately they don’t make a 30in deck. If Honda had a 30in deck I would’ve gone that route.
Do NOT mulch
Tall grass
Way too long to mulch. Bag first then in few days mulch.
Lol I can’t go back in a few days to mulch a clients yard. It all has to be done at the same time for maximum profit.
@@flashhobbies lol, I am talking about home owners, generally speaking!
have you mowed wet grass? if so how did it go?
Clumps really bad. I have to do a double cut on different height settings.
