Note that the blacklight doesn't pick up germs , so if the substances aren't Fluorescence doesnt mean they are clean. Also make sure you are not overly exposed to UV light
the fact that she's barefoot ... 😳 I always have to wear shoes or slippers in a hotel room especially since they clean the carpets like once a year.
That hotel room was remarkably clean... I expected far worse.

Be careful, it you start thinking about this all the time and living like that, things are gonna get hard. You can make yourself crazy like Howard Hughes. If it really gets to you, bring some disinfectant wipes and hit the areas you’re concerned about and let it go. Our bodies are amazing things but all of us are “dirty” and completely capable of being safe and healthy even in some pretty bad environments.
You two are killing me...LOL. I always wear a pair of cheap flip flops for walking around in the room & taking a shower.
I bring Lysol wipes and spray when we travel. I can’t help myself there’s some nasty germs out there. My husband used to think I was crazy but now he appreciates it.
And pretending you sleep in separate beds... unbelievable! George, if I had your Jeremy, I'd NEVER sleep alone! Love you two together!!!
The carpet may have fluorescent threads in it. Don't freak.
To be fair, sweat or persperation glows....while I was remodeling our house I was also putting my son down for his daily nap after mom fed him lunch. I would sit with him in a rocking chair and rock him to sleep after about 2 years of using that rocking chair I exposed it to UV light and the arm rests looked like they got spray painted with glow paint. It was abundantly clear it was my sweat from sitting there after working in the hot southern california sun. Sweat glows!!!

Getting the feeling that you purchased that UV light and straight went to a hotel instead of testing it in your home. Otherwise you'd know that it's really clean in the hotel room!
I used to clean motel rooms and looks like they have very thorough maid service there, I'm impressed
