      Just replaced strut assembly to resolve clunking sound over bumps. Now I can hear a rubber squeak, like a hand on a ballon, when turning the steering wheel. This was not present before the new strut assemblies were installed. Help!

    By the time you need this part you might as well buy everything in the front end because it’s all shot. Axles, lower control arms, sway bar links etc.

    Did anyone notice that he didn’t use the washer for the bottom bolt. Is it needed or is it ok with the self locking nut alone.

    Does it matter in what position is the steering wheel (left, right, straight) when you remove the Inner TR or when you torque it down? Thank you for the film.

    Hi, great informative video. Question? What causes clicking sound on a 2008 Nissan Altima? I've already replaced brand new cv joints on both side and brand new struts assembly kits on both sides and still clicking sound when steering is turned even when parked and steering turns I hear loud cluncking noise. What can this be?

    • @georgelee9957
      @georgelee9957 3 года назад +1

      its the driveaxle itself. Replace that and you'll be fine

      Sounds like a steering rack issue if it's doing it while parked

    Nice tutorial! one question, does that car need to be lifted up in the air to do this or can you just jack it up enough so that it's off the ground?

    • @1AAuto
      @1AAuto  4 года назад +1

      +Benny If you can easily access this area with your jack, you do not need the lift.

    Don’t you use a locking washer on the inside end?

  • @nevaehsurita7358
    @nevaehsurita7358 Год назад

    How long between doing this do you need an alignment

    • @abumannocchi
      @abumannocchi Год назад

      Soon your tires will tell you everything they will become uneven on the sides without alignment then you’ll need new tires and another part

    • @1AAuto
      @1AAuto  3 года назад

      +HENRY ACCORD SPORT Thanks for watching! You should be able to source zip ties that are pretty durable, so you won't have to worry about failure for a while. You can also use metal bands if you don't want to use zip ties.

    Next time show and identify the parts. You jumped into doing the job right away anddid not explain what to look for and if we even needed that part in the first place. Good videos but missed that today.

      If you specifically looked up this video most likely you have the parts needed and this is just a how to video showing someone who IS replacing tie rods on this specific vehicle how to properly replace them themselves.
