Definitely feels very fluid whenever handling on the twists and turns. For price point fun, this what I see as ideal! Love the videos and keep up the good work!
@@ruturaj47miata isn’t always the answer… the first gen just needs boost/bolt ons. Of course it’s underpowered, it’s a blank canvas to build on from factory.
The guy I bought mine from someone who made over 5k from dealer, if your not in love with the car that increase of value can change a person's mind easily.
When taking constant left or right turns on the track, the RTV can cause the engine to break down. There’s an easy fix to it and it is somewhat rare, but the problem is there.
@@christacy1it’s an issue I have a 24 GR 86 and the rtv is getting worse it’s like Subaru doesn’t care lol. Anywho my take is we are car enthusiasts drop the damn pan and clean it out. It’s not a deal breaker. This is my 12th car I’ve owned & so far my favorite.
@@Reminding1996 I have a 22 86. No oiling mods. Have not dropped the pan. Drive the shit out of it all the time. Go to track days. No issues. Good oil and good maintenance.
The one thing I do love abt the gr86 is how it has skinny the tires are. 215, almost prius sized. Skinny plus 200hp is plenty to do fun spin tricks.

Just picked one up a day ago and love it so much
17s are where it’s at.
Preventative maintenance is always the key.
What about the first gen?
It feels underpowered, get Miata instead.
Uel manifold,a good tune and a shorter final drive and the first gen is a little responsive weapon

Why run a different wheel size if your tires are the same front and back?
finally theres a new update on torque drift 1!!!
I like the first gen better… I also notice several people don’t keep the gr86 long term for some odd reason.
RUclipsrs don't because it stops getting views.
@@ruturaj47that and probably the RTV/oil pressure issues.
@@Pharaoh_The_Great rtv is non issue, oil pressure is for tracking. Oil pressure has solution though.

What's the rtv issue he mentioned with the 86?

I want this so bad if the new 2025 GR86 is under 35k I will be getting the Neptune 2.0
Jesus Christ bro, can you not make it through one video without fear mongering RTV? It's basically a non issue.
anything they can do to shit on subaru engines :P
Still an issue so bashing it is valid tbh, why would you accept it if you're gonna spend around 34 Grand for a new car?
No, it's not an issue.
