OMG is it ever! Most groups tend to lose it over the course of time but the Spandau Ballet I first fell in love with in the 80's? It STILL the same great band in 2021! Tony Hadley's most certainly NOT lost the voice and he sure as hell hasn't lost his look either! Whenever I hear 80's music, it makes me forget how old I actually am because I REALLY loved life back when the 80's existed and groups like Spandau Ballet were out there! :-)
I started with Gold in 1984. Heard it many hundred times since then. I can't get enough of this great performance in 2010 even it's now 2024, I've never heard anything better! "His voice is gold" simply fantastic!!!

They did come here last year. I hope they give it one more go.
Being an American; I hate to say this but, Spandau Ballet's a tad too sophisticated for many of us Yanks. Another example would be Swing Out Sister despite it's strong '5th Dimension' vibe to its music.

CJ Mooney Steve Norman is an incredible musician. He plays a lot more instruments than the bongos. He plays the saxophone, guitar, percussion, and other instruments. He's the guy playing saxophone on all their big hits like True, Through the Barricades, etc.
