Spandau Ballet are one of Britain’s great iconic bands having sold over 25 million records, scored numerous multi-platinum albums and amassed 23 hit singles across the globe since their humble beginnings as a group of friends with dreams of stardom in the late 1970s. It wasn’t long before they became fully-fledged members of the iconic Blitz Club scene and established themselves as one of the super-groups of the 80s.
The band's classic line-up features brothers Gary and Martin Kemp on guitars, vocalist Tony Hadley, saxophonist Steve Norman and drummer John Keeble.
Spandau Ballet’s hits include Gold, True, To Cut A Long Story Short, Through The Barricades and many more.

My childhood dream to meet them came true. I was lucky to see them in concert back in 2015 when they came to San Diego. I also got a hug from Tony and had a picture taken of me with the whole group 😍. Absolutely a classy group. I have concert footage on my other RUclips channel "Jan I Am"

How lucky were those of us who grew up in London where these bands first gigged live in the smaller venues before they became global icons! I just left school and spent all my spare cash on buying the vinyls and seeing them live! Will never forget this amazing time!

It's so strange watching this.. as 10 year olds in the UK we ALL noticed To Cut A Long Story Short but it took a while for the ballads to hit while we grew older. Now looking back I'd do anything to get this entire era back.
