I'll forever be a devoted fan of Spandau Ballet. It's not easy to listen to them without feeling a lump growing in my throat as I plunge into a whirlwind of memories that it brings along with a bitter and sweet taste of nostalgia. A trip back in time to the days when I was happy and didn't know.
Goes back to knowing then and how it would come to be later we could all make adjustments to make our lives better......or worse. Depending...but I'm sure we all remember someone giving us advice and some took it and most did not. The take it's I'm sure still don't and there all the better for it. Rant and un-advice over. Is that a word.

DAMN! Hadley really took care of his voice. He's got to be a trained singer, most performers show varying degrees of wear and tear on their voices by middle age, not this guy, 30 years later and that voice is as beautiful and strong as ever. Huge respect for these guys kicking a$$!
He has not abused his voice but has certainly not pampered it. He is one of a handful of singers who has been lucky enough to have a great voice since their youth (even childhood) and has maintained the clarity that it had back then but with the increased control that comes with performance experience and the ability to emote that comes with maturity and life experience. Art Garfunkel and Justin Hayward are another two of the few who come to mind. It is a gift.

Saw these guys at the Wiltern in Los Angeles about 8 years ago and they were as good as their first day. Amazing musicians, classy and very down to earth. One of the best bands of the 80s and present
I have to say, for having been out of the spotlight for so long, they're in remarkable shape. Vocally and physically. The charisma and fun is still there.

He sang in a choir before joining the band. So yes, he knows the technique.
