Eastwood sending you this is AWESOME. Good on Eastwood for supporting content creators like you, we love your videos and if Eastwood is sponsoring you, then we love Eastwood too!
Thank you! They have been helping the shop for awhile now and always been great. Thanks for watching!
I have this and loooove it! Helped knocked out my body work checking and preparing for paint.
I just ordered one of these earlier this week. Snow got the delivery delayed but after watching this I’m super excited to try it out!
I’ve had one of those for about 2 years now. Works awesome! A bit loud but does the job. Burns through the drums a bit fast for the price of the drums.
I love mine. I only use the black stripping drums. For rust and paint. I just let the tool do the work and use a bare hand to check for heat. It’s also great for knocking mill scale off of steel tubing and surface rust off sheetmetal that’s been sitting around.
I def need to get a stripping drum
You need to get the Abrasive Drum 40 Grit it is my favorite drum! It removes paint and rust. I use it all the time when I'm welding or when I need to remove paint. it gives the metal a really nice brushed look.
Yea i should of done more research on which ones. I’m super happy with the ones i have, but i should of got a more varied pack if i was smart
I gotta get one of those drum Sanders that things pretty cool I've seen them before but I've never seen them Work Another cool video thanks a lot
Dude I love you Eastwood products I just picked up their hydraulic brake flaring kit and metal cutting circular saw both are amazing products. The flaring tool does so much man fuel lines brake lines transmission lines and more. The metal cutting circular saw is a beast I love it you should check that out man cut some real nice straight lines that cuts all the way up to an inch and 5/8. Works a lot nicer than using an angle grinder for long cuts
Nice job Casey! She's getting better. 👍🍺✌
Yeah I am very impressed with Eastwood they seem to be very good at helping out the YT community.
We love our Contour!
i've always been curious about this tool. How long do the drums last? Comparred to a grinder with flaps, this might be more expensive?? Can't tell without using one.
I can already tell the drums last a lot longer then a flap wheel. I’ve put 20-30 mins on one drum and it barely shows. (I sanded down the 55 ford hood in my shop too with it)
Your coming up in the YT world my friend
Still got a long way to go but we are giving it our all!
Another GREAT vid!!! 👍👍👍
Looks more efficient than a grinder with a flap disk and maybe more control?
A ton more control and a better finish
Hubcaps looking great👍
Thank you!
Awesome from Eastwood ! Does a Great Job
That works good it cleaned it up.
I’ve thought about getting this tool. Now I may.
I’ve wanted one for awhile and I’m very impressed. Btw i get absolutely nothing if you buy one or don’t, just my opinion. 👍👍
You doing the roof white to match 5he rims, an help hide all the lumps an bumps?
That s awsome. Thanks Casey
Dude your channel is badass I'm glad I accidentally found it 🤘 you are killing it. Looks like you ain't a fan of windows haha lol. 😆 good job keep it up
Not a fan of windows while sparks are flying lol
Roof looks mo gooder keep on buddy
Congrats on the Eastwood sponsor bud! Moving on up like the Jefferson’s! Lol
FYI harbor freight has a woodworking gigantic shop vac for reasonable price .hope this helps brother.
I'm digging the hubcaps on th car
With this tool work on a fiberglass Corvette , I’m wanting to strip down to the glass? Has anyone use it on fiberglass before I have two coats of paint and two coats of primer I’m wanting to remove.
Love Eastwood productions, but the cost for me being a FIYer just does not make sense to for me.
When when your done paint the roof white with a lace pattern.
I have one with the drum that came on it. It’s garbage. I need to get a new drum but they are expensive.
If you sand that roof down enough, you can put a convertible top on and save the paint
I'm from northern michigan and this thing looks like a truck frame assassin
awesome tooooool.
Nice !!!! 👍💪💪💪
I thought you were sanding on the truck based on the thumbnail.
I did use it on the truck but the footage wasn’t as good, but the truck thumbnail looked better. If that makes any sense
DUDE! AWESOME! I'M VERY IMPRESSED! ....... no, not the tool dumbass, I've seen that before. I'm just INSPIRED that you put out a 6:23 video and you DID NOT CUSS ONCE! If this tube let me download a picture it would be HUGE THUMBS UP! F'in AWESOME. Proud of you Son!
Holy crap really?!? I didn’t even mean to… or not too lol
Now we’ll see if your honest😂
I’ve never lied about any product sent to me, i will say though, the shitty ones don’t get videos made about them lol.
paint the roof and tool pink......legit!!
😂😂😂
They should have sent you a vac attachment
Ooh they make one?!?
@@CaseysCustoms no clue, but they should.
Like you said; with all the drum choices, you could sand, prep & polish, great stuff.
Good thing you didn't call this video 'I try stripping with my new tool." or something...I wouldn't watch, I mean I love ya, but not like that!
Bahahahhaa
love this fucking car
👍✌
I got one but not so happy. Takes too long to prep metal. I can do it faster with other tools. Oh well , $200 bucks laying in the tool box.
Maybe you have the wrong drum? This thing ripped through the paint/rust on my hood. Did a little too good of a job so i put a softer drum on
She is looking fine
Bad ass
Car is full of dust inside 🤦♂️
Do these companies actually sell anything giving products to RUclipsrs for free? I’ve never bought anything and never would. The fact you got it free automatically makes you bias imo. Right or wrong just my thoughts. You really wanna know what works go to your local body shop and ask the people in the back actually doing the work not the owner or management. You’ll get a true recommendation of what works best.
Lol i have a pile of free shit that was junky and never got a video/recommendation that proves you wrong. Not knowing something is fine, assuming you know something and commenting about it is something else. Also as far as “do they ever sell anything because of sending stuff to RUclipsrs” my last video about a sponsor made dozens of sells, and that’s just the ones i know about personally.
@@CaseysCustoms like I said right or wrong it’s still my opinion and that hasn’t changed. I trust a real person that does whatever work every day more than I would someone getting free shit and in some cases paid to tell me how great it is. There is no way I believe you would say it sucked if it did. They probably wouldn’t send you anything else if you did. So how can this be not be biased
@@CaseysCustoms oh where are the videos on the stuff that sucked? If they were here that would give these good reviews more credibility. Or maybe they are here and I’ve missed them?
@@Robrt32 you missed the point, i don’t make videos on the shitty stuff. Also i make more in views then this product is worth, so i really get nothing in return if they sell 100 more or none. You could say it’s biased if i got a kick back, but i don’t.
