Hi this is a small fan made remake of Mortal Kombat 4 - Scorpions ending. Its all rendered inside Unreal Engine 4. If I get the time, I might do some other ones as well.
Environment Assets used from the following libraries :
Medieval Dungeon
Elemental
Why are they so skinny?
I was looking at the original models from Mk4, and tried to be true to the originals, as they appeared skinnier there than in new games, but they turned out more skinny as intended. I will try to fix that for Sub zeros ending. Stuff like this happens when you work alone, you miss things because you look at your models for too long and become accustomed to your models. Appreciate the feedback.

Actually, they seem to be skinnier in terms of game aesthetics, but this is what real life people (combatants) would look like.

nah it’s the other way around, scorpion stands awkwardly while quan chi yells no in his ear

The added ending segues nicely into the beginning of Deadly Alliance.
It is unusual how this game had two canon endings. In Raiden and Scorpions'.
What about Liu kang ending

MK4 endings are my most memorable and cherished. They were all connected, they all suffered a horrific fate. And if you remembered the og endings these will bring a tear to your eyes. Beautifully done, Bravo!

It is interesting to see that after adding better animations, the voice acting isn't as bad as with the original.
The fact you made scorpion do something instead of him just standing there next to quan chi while he's screaming no in the original was awesome

To this day, I always wonder why didn't Quan Chi move out the way when Scorpion was charging at him? You gotta love the 90s, man 😂
Least it makes sense here, Scorpion was almost entirely out, then as he charged, Quan Chi realized he had no time to dodge, hence the No BEFORE he gets sent to the Netherrealm.

The graphics are awesome
Scorpion: looks like a 16-year old in a cheap scorpion costume
Sub-Zero : sounds like a dude in a mortal Kombat parody
Quan chi: sounds like he's using a voice changer
But Quan Chi´s voice, sounds pretty cool

Most probably Quan Chi did use a voice changer or some filter when they made the originals.
I wish we could have Quan Chi and Shinnok in MK11. Quan Chi looks amazing in this.
Also, I never knew Scorpion found out that Quan Chi was the killer. I thought that was a MKX twist. I only played MK9-11 and only owned X-11. It seems they have repeated a lot of the storylines from previous games.

This shit is better than the new games. I miss the vibe of the old games. Music, lore, cheesy serious dialogue. GOD I havent had my MK fix in over a decade.
