Tim's Strange Stamps

- Tim does not collect stamps as such. He might be a peglomaniac, but he is certainly no philatelist! However every so often a stamp comes along that is so unusual that Tim feels justified in adding it to his collection.

I just watched a man show me his stamp collection. Can life get much better than this?
+Rabid Rabbit Rabbi Go lie down. You need to rest from all of this excitement.
I need a cold shower after this one!
No life better than filateli....
Edit: his life's stamp collection
To Tim, and the production team and everyone who helps in making these fine videos. I just want to say that no matter the length of the video, it feels like time flies by. What I mean by this is there are videos that range from 50 seconds to a few minutes and every time I am checking to see when the video will end because it feels like it drags on, but these videos never feel like the actual length of the video, it always feels shorter than it really is and I keep on wanting to learn more. Thank you Grand Illusions.
No comments about the cute little elephant on the tray? That's the cutest thing ever!
It's not a proper Grand Illusions video unless Tim ends it with a "Heh".
True!
There is one of them where he actually doesn't say it. Closest thing is a hmmph.
Some people have boyfriends. Tim has "toyfriends."
Very funny ha ha ha😁
I don't get around to watching many Grand Illusions videos anymore. Perhaps I will soon have a binge-watching session. Heh!
+ThePlamzJoker Clever little idea, that
Wow that's cool, man.
+ThePlamzJoker That'd be very adventurous!
I give this video a stamp of approval! First class stuff.
For the love of God, get Tim's brother in front of the camera!
It's a stampede of stamps!
Wow
Stamps... From the Nile
My favorite in my collection was of the solar eclipse. It's heat sensitive and starts out as a black solar eclipse. Yet you can run your thumb across it and it turns to the moon. You can make your own eclipse slowly or all at once.
"My brother has got a huge collection of stamps."
Ah! So collecting just runs in the family. lol
yeah but stamp collecting is more acceptable to normals
How is no one talking about how Tim is a fan of Harry Potter?! He seems like he’d be a good professor at hogwarts. Well, he could also work at zonkos joke shop selling crazy magical prank items
Oh man, I can't remember the last time I saw an actual paper letter.
I once had the pleasure of running across a very peculiar stamp. It seemed to be just a regular stamp, but when you licked it you would begin to see wonderful trails of fire in the air and hear the brightness of colors. Oh the fun I had with that stamp must've lasted for hours! I'd say that stamp gave me quite a licking, heh.
Tim, I'm not sure those were postage stamps.
02:05 32 year old man putting his nose up to computer screen for a picture of a stamp. yep..
Already a great gentleman, and then he says: “I’ve read all the Harry Potter books”. Knight this man!
keep making these, I love em'.
Is that the cold ashtray Karl Pilkington puts on his stomach?
+SubxZeroGamer Solves the old cold belly badness.
+SubxZeroGamer The cold ashtray must be a British occurence
how was this the first thing that came to my mind?
plates are for liver damage!
Another neat stamp was put out in the Netherlands featuring the group Golden Earring. The stamp could be scanned with a cellphone and the song "Radar Love" would be played on the phone.
your sophisticated manner of showcasing different collection brings me to your other videos!
He knows about the "heh' obsession we all have. I know it.
5:54 keep starring ,beautiful bird will appear
Tim is love, Tim is life! ❤️
I love Tim's channel, and so does my wife!
Hello. Cool video! I really enjoy these videos!
Please, if you are going to show a random dot stereogram, include a square-on shot of it. You can't see the hidden image if it's angled as you showed it!
I was just going to say the same thing!!
6:00 Is that a stamp of Robert Baden Powell?
yes…
Fezzes are cool. And so are bowties.
I thought if I turned on CC, I'd understand what was being said. NOPE, but it is fucking hysterical!!
An oddball American entrepreneur named Burt Todd came up with phonographic record stamps, which were produced for the Kingdom of Bhutan back in the 1970s. They are still accepted as postage today.
I've never heard anyone pronounce 'decal' like that.
That's because the word is decalcomania. And it's originally FRENCH.
"Heh"
We gotta get Tim’s brother to show of the stamp collection
"I have read all of Harry Potter books"
I knew it! Tim was a wizard all along!
hey i think it would be a great idea (if possible) for Tim to showcase maybe some of his oldest/hand made toys. i love seeing the work of a single individual or even the quality and uniqueness of the older ones. thanks for making these vids they are the best.
Suomi mainittu
+Timothy Soini Torilla tavataan!!!
I to like tortillas
You might wish to edit the description, unless Tom is someone who I'm not familiar with.
Reminds me of the transformers toys logo's you can rub to show color. Also the hotwheels that change color if you put them in water. Good ol 80's.
It is possible to do the magic eye on the front of the stamp book. It is a large version of one of the little bird pictures that makes up the pattern.
I would like to have Tim as my grandpa!
Tim can enter my magic circle any day.
I have a set of stamps that are made to look like a painting of a mountain range but all of the animals are actual stamps
I used to be able to see the pictures in magic eye posters, only trouble is they appeared inverted to me, the stuff that was supposed to be "coming out" of the page appeared sunk into the page, and the stuff that was actually supposed to be "sunk in" looked like it was coming out!
Those tangram stamps couldn't possibly look any more like the year 2000.
They get credit for featuring Sierpenski's triangle, though.
Wow I have no life. I love this videos it make me feel better.
I love this channel!
i love the fact he says euros right before the brexit oh well i can't blame england
You'll have to forgive the old opalised fossil, he's old.
Look, it's a sailboat!
I have thermal ink pen that can be erased with rubber end. Very good if You hate scratching things out, but You have to be careful where You put Your notebooks (I've put mine near hot radiator and "lost" whole semester of notes :( , tho I've got most of them back by cooling it down in freezer)
5:48 I manege to see... this is the same bird as blue ones. I actually like stereograms. They use to print them on copybooks when I was at school. Everybody talked about how great they are, but I seems just wasn't able to focus right. One day I "meditate" on one of those (with very low expectations) and suddenly saw a dog... jumped on my chair.
Does Tim have any interesting envelopes?
I don't know what makes me more sad as a philatist.
The fact that I May never be able to get these Stamps or the fact that I May never be able to converse with this good man in any form. Even in this era of technology I wouldn't mind getting letters from Tim.
Does anyone know if it's possible?
Stamps from the Nile
I loved this time *STAMP* 7:19
your the grandfather i never met T_T thank you
heh!
Ive never heard "decals" pronounced that way lol is that how it's said in England?
Hp for life
Did Tim forget to show us one of the stamp collections or is it me? The one next to the ones from the magic circle
Bizarro Philately
I suppose,as far as Tim's stamp collecting goes, you could consider him to be interested in philatoddity.
You could call this stamp collection "phil-oddity"
philat-heh-ly
So here is the obvious question. Is this Tim's stamp collection or they belong to Tim's novelty collection?
go to 7 minutes in and put on captions and look for a word that starts with an n
3d magic is kind of a weird bird flying (maybe?) to the right and little up.
That's strange, i saw a sitting bird right in the middle.
Is it just me or is Tim getting mumblier and mumblier?
Philately is fun
No comments on the eggplant stamp?
hi

Hi ?!

Phiddelately
"xenophilatelics" would be the appropriate term. Canada has recently issues a coupla different sets of stamps featuring lenticular film clips. the one that i studied consisted of 32 individual frames.
what a cool video =]
Jaahas, torille ->
Tim should do a collaboration with 50 cent.
That last stamp is not woven, it's embroidery, isn't it?!
do you have a rubiks cube collection?
5:18 - If he ever finds that ape hiding between his legs, he should spank it.
tim do you have the bhutan record staps? thos are little gramophone records used as staps
I haven't finished watching the video yet, but does Tim have the Royal Mail stamps that have images from The Railway Series? I'd like to have a look at some of them.
sniff my finger tim
We need to talk about how Tim says "dee-culls" instead of "de-cAls
I have 55 stamps from 18th century
Phewlately (fewlately) :D
Who is Tom?
@3:27 ... D.E.C.A.L. pronounced ... WHAT!?
Deacle? is that a British thing?
Clothhhhhh
What is that block made of? Ceramic? Metal?
tim reads harry potter?
U r great
3:00 oh dear...
Anorak free philately?
Tim can you do fiddle toys??
3.5 Euros!? How much is postage over there?
+t0f0b0 If I saw it correctly from the video these stamps were released in 2000 whereas Finland adopted euro only in 2002, so the value is probably still in the old markka.
Who's Tom?
Your mim.
+Nathan Clark - Nothing Serious wow.
He dosen't talk until 0:26
hey Tim do you have a tramp stamp, heh
Is Tim ok, his speech seems a little off?
