There's a really fun practical joke you can play if you have an opaque screw-top salt shaker, if the person you are pranking's food can be easily replaced. you pour into the shaker a little bit of vinegar, and then lay across the top of the shaker a paper napkin, on which you place a little baking soda. You then screw the top on and rip off the visible paper excess. When it is inverted, the vinegar soaks through the paper, meets the baking soda, and erupts surprisingly.
Here in Texas, my grandma had egg salt and pepper shakers. Salt was a white egg and pepper was more of a tan egg. It was pretty funny seeing my grandmother shaking an egg over her food. I had no idea what was going on the 1st time haha
He's such a lovely old man speaking about what he loves. You hardly get this love and appreciation and effort into making videos now a days. I love you Tim 💗
Those wind up salt/pepper shakers are a great fun idea. Thank you for all your videos, Tim. No matter the day, you never fail to calm me and give me many chuckles.
Hello from Athens, Greece. Your channel is excellent. It is unique and I really see the beauty of the old years that people had, and the child who was anxiously waiting to get such a toy from his parents on birthdays, etc. to be always well and make such nice videos with new gadgets.
I know he was once a stage magician but I always wondered HOW with his classic Tim clumsiness... it might have been the most unintentionally hilarious magic show ever
some old lady was giving away stuff she didn't need and I went to see if there is anything I'd need. saw a small black figurine looking like some weird creeper which I thought its cute and I picked it up. I put it on my window faced outside so he would look out and guard the surroundings for some reason it always gave me a loneliness feel whenever I would look at him but only now at 4:06 I realized he is missing his friend ;_;
The "salt becoming pepper" one reminds me of this picture I saw of two paint cans, one with red paint but a blue label, and the other with blue paint and a red label.
Diners often have the glass shakers with the chrome lid that screw on and off. If you put a bit of napkin full of pepper under the lid and screw it back on, you get the effect like the last example Tim showed. Yes, this was back in my delinquent days, yes I was a nerd, yes we found it hilarious.
The "Embrace" salt and pepper set says more then what could be described in words. That's some profound message the designer managed to portray with something so simple.
I came across the ceramic hugging salt and pepper shakers sealed in a charity shop a while ago and thought they were the sweetest thing and bought them on the spot. My boyfriend didn't think it was as important a purchase as I did but oh well
probably when people bow over to pick something up from the ground, the tie would hang on the floor or in their faces, and that way it couldn`t do that i can`t imagine another use for a tie being put behind ones belt^^
"Tim, could you please pass me the salt?"
"Here you go" -hands over puzzle salt mill that you have to solve before you can turn it
heh
“ffs Tim I just want some salt.”
Here let me pass you the pepper.
**Let's a wind up toy go down the table**
If you can’t figure it out...you’re not worth your...salt.
I think only the top moves kinda like a 5x5 rubic cube bank I have
More evidence to support my "Tim is an ancient wizard" theory:
he hasnt sneezed once the entire video.
CycloneMetal i thought i was the only one😂
Wizards dont sneeze?
He is from the Nile
That's *_really_* how the salt to pepper trick works. The reservoir is just for show.

How is it that hi accent makes everything so pleasant & civilized. God loves you, Tim & so do I.
that rubik's cube condiment set must be horrible for people with OCD
You can always just turn it in multiples of 360 degrees and leave it solved every time.
The colors of the top are different than the ones of the bottom.
mipmipmipmipmip why is that?
mipmipmipmipmip or people that enjoy solving the cube
But if you turn it 360, you won't have control over the precise amount of salt/pepper you put on.
“That’s salt yep”
Thank you for confirming, I wasn’t sure
He lied, it was cocain.
Those wind up salt/pepper shakers are a great fun idea. Thank you for all your videos, Tim. No matter the day, you never fail to calm me and give me many chuckles.
I like to think that there’s no bin behind the table and Tim is just throwing his salt and pepper on the ground
I hereby declare my life and inevitable demise to Tim's Condiment Clan, Deus Salt!

Changing seasonings. Brilliant.

This one is just amazing, I couldn't even imagine how to make these more accesible, I wish this type of acomodations were cheaper tho
only Tim can make an 8 minute video solely on salt and pepper!
Fascinating as always Tim. heh.

Honestly the shakers embracing each other is something I would buy.
Would really light up a table.
Tim is my spirit animal
This kind man makes me feel so peaceful
That changing seasons joke is top tier
You could put salt (or pepper) in a Klein bottle... I don't think it's been done.
I always enjoy watching your videos Tim, good job!
Absolutely love how he has a black/white piece of paper, to prove that these shakers do indeed dispense. Like were we doubting that?
Pepper
windup robot: "What is our porpuse?"
Tim: "To serve salt, and you pepper."
Just found and subscribed to this channel. This is perhaps the best RUclips channel.
Can we take some time to appreciate the effort of making part of the paper black so the salt would show up.
I need those Rubik Cubes in my life, they're fascinating.

Tim tasting the suspicious stuff coming out of the cube... Yeah, that’s definitely salt, or is it...

there really is no need to proove there's salt and pepper in every single one of them... xD

Hi Tim 👋
I just saw a video for a Sony toio and it seemed like fun and you're the first person I thought to tell about it 🙂👍
pun + *heh* at the end, lovely idea
I like how Tim demonstrate all pots, how prepare dark paper for white salt. And none of "used" pepper and salt was wasted...for sure
I read it as "Compliment Clam" at first, but got more confused when I realized it said Condiment.
You are the purest man who ever lived.

Paying, sure ok.
Wow! What a Kool Kondiment Klan
I mostly watch these videos for Tim now. The toys are cool but no one can calm you down like he does
Tim is like the wacky grandad the brings you wired toys
I love how he just sends them off right out of frame.
4.05 My mum and dad have those (though the pepper shaker is black instead of brown xx👍☺
The fact that the camera man has to watch this grown man play with condiment dispensers is great. I would just be mostly questioning him
Exactly omg
I love reading the comments on these videos.... It's like an oasis of politeness, a snark-free channel and immune to internet malevolence.
I've got the hugging ones but in White and Green. They're great!
This guy will eventually have his own museum
heh from the Nile
Tim's just got a big pot of soup under his table
Wow so changing seasonings....winter pepper and summersalt
ABSOLUTELY LOVELY
The hugging one... they cry salt and pepper
Who in their mind would dislike this video.
his tie is in his pants
I've never understood why people do that
probably when people bow over to pick something up from the ground, the tie would hang on the floor or in their faces, and that way it couldn`t do that
i can`t imagine another use for a tie being put behind ones belt^^
