I was wondering why he didn’t have one of those to show, it’s the first thing I picture when someone says “novelty ring.” I assume they’re too common or something?
I have one of the orange-peeling rings. It works very well. You use the small point to score the peel, and then you use the broad, flat end to pry the peel off the fruit.
This is the first time I’ve had anything similar to anything nice in Tim’s videos, I have a gear ring I wear everyday. Rather than the linear gear on the outside edge it’s an uninterrupted series of offset round gears. Amazing little fidget.
I used to have a whistle ring, but blowing it once would get a thing inside spinning and the sound it made increased in pitch as you continued to blow into it, and you could hear it winding down when you stopped. They were pretty fun!
I actually quite like the ring at 3:46 being a "Handy-man" of sorts, both at work, as well around the family. Arranging something that requires it to be straight, it'd be neat to have a ring like that you could rest on the surface to ensure that it's level. Nice one! ꉂ ⓛ⩊ⓛ
The last one can be extremely useful in an survival situation if you need to start a camp fie, the device is compact and easy to use. I'd like to have one of those
I'm actually collecting rings made from each element on the periodic table and the most novelty one in there is one a friend 3d printed for me filled with gallium metal.I found it's good for that thing with static electricity since its almost like a capacitor
Those German pranks are sometimes a bit sadistic. It's obvious that ring could damage the eyes, but I've seen other German pranks that really make you wonder. A friend of mine has this cute little wooden box with a bucolic country scene painted on the side, and the side of the box is a little slide off door. When you open it, a little painted wooden snake with a sharpened needle for a tongue lunges out and stabs your finger.
Penn Jillette talked about that last kind of ring (a Funken ring) on one of the recent episodes of his podcast, Penn's Sunday School. I don't think Id heard of them before this year, but now they've been featured in two of the things I subscribe to within the past week or two.
The citrus peeler ring reminds me of the Chef'n Palm Peeler, a vegetable peeler that you wear as a ring, with the large part with the b;ade nestled in your palm. My grandma has one, and apparently _Cook's Illustrated_ rated it as one of the worst vegetable peelers on the market; apparently the low arch over the blade makes it hard to clean.
kirby march barcena Spoiler alert! The one ring was destroyed! Gollum and his precious were destroyed in the bowels of Mt. Doom in Mordor... I hope I didn’t ruin the ending for you!
Becca Hanley What happened to it? If it was lost, it sounds like the beginnings of a quest! Yes! A quest to find the eyeball ring! Hey! Wait...🤔you ARE a princess, right? Caught under an evil spell, so that whoever finds your ring and sets you free gets to have your hand in marriage, right? And half of the kingdom?
Some character designs use protective goggles (of sturdy construction and probably tinted) as a way to show that the character in question is no stranger to self-inflicted dangers. They may be an alchemist, around explosions a lot or maybe even have no clear reason for wearing the goggles. They are worn the forehead to appear within reach and often used. HOWEVER when it comes time to use the character in a comic, game or what have you, they are never shown actually using the goggles to protect their eyes, or for anything else. A fairly recent and popular character design like this is Bennett from Genshin Impact, if you need an example.
@@logonontrily4161 gotcha, I’ve created a few characters like that and it’s always bugged me how some creators never actually use the goggles. They have goggles to protect themselves from harm, they should use them. The only exception to this rule is when characters have goggles that wouldn’t help, ie snow goggles in a flood
I never understood why tim sometimes makes comments like oh this is more for girls than boys for stuff like the led ring. I mean he is a grown ass man and he clearly loves that ring, so why wouldn't that be the case for other men and boys? After if there is something this channel has taught me is that all toys tricks and novelties should be for everyone
Tim you are missing one ring that i used to wear...it was a small knife that, was easily taken out,and used to defend yourself...I’ve also had a few that doubled as Brass Knuckles...

Dude! Interdimensional beings never run out of cool stuff
He's a machine, he's not gonna stop buying. But we have to let reality sink in, with the fact one day we will lose this great man.
No. You can’t possibly live long enough to see all the fun stuff Tim has.
Go watch the episode where he does a tour of his apartment. :D
That vibration in the beginning was what happens when Tim materializes into the room, displacing the air as he does so.
Marvelous.
It generates a lot of energy. If Tim didn't contain his power, his teleportation could result in creating a supermassive black hole.
Can we all agree that Tim is an amazing guy?
Yes :)
Yes what a sweet guy
Idk, who exactly disagrees?
Yep

This channel is so underappreciated in my honest opinion.
I love the content on it so much.
No, this channel is for people with class and taste....
It has nearly 1.5million subscribers it's hardly underappreciated
I wouldn’t say it’s under appreciated but from what it seems, it’s a niche group of people that watch.
@@MenWithVen but theres very little views for videos of good quality
Has Tim seen the hypno-ring?
It's just a red plastic ring with a swirly holograph on it, but the idea is so novel & fun.

The level ring could honestly replace "the never worn goggles" in some character designs. Such a nice thing.
