"We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed." A garment change at the last trumpet? Makes sense to me

Hidden gem in the clothing motif: Genesis 35:2!
So many connections. Yes, clothing is the wedding garment, but it’s also the temple. Our covering for our shame.
Change of clothes in Gen 35:2 = a snapshot of the change of temple, change of covenant. Get rid of foreign gods/put away the idols your hands have made. Put on Christ and the Messianic temple.
Can certainly tie Gen 35 to Psalm 102, Hebrews 1, Zechariah 3 as Rick said, of course Jude 9…but how about this one?: Acts 14:15 🤔
    Really enjoying this series!

I couldn't help but think of Daniel and the fall of Babylon when he spoke of "don't get drunk." When Babylon fell, they were getting drunk with the vessels of the Temple. The Persians came in like a thief and caught them off guard. They weren't paying attention to the water levels lowering from the Euphrates when Cyrus diverted the water so they could sneak in and catch them off guard

You made a good Point about Matt 7:22. I think it goes hand in hand with Matt 25:31-46 and James 1:27. Pure and undefiled religion before our God and Father is this: to care for orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world. If you weren’t taking care of people(Just, kind, merciful rule for the needy) it wouldn’t matter what miraculous, “demon” slaying abilities you performed. Just like Jesus healing on the Sabbath. All of the “rules” meant nothing unless they were geared toward loving and helping people, and not elevating yourself so you could put heavy burdens on others.
The words what you did or didn’t do for them you did or didn’t do for me, ring through my head constantly. That’s our works and exactly what James means by Faith apart from works is dead.
Rev 19:8 it was granted her to clothe herself with fine linen, bright and pure”- for the fine linen is the righteous deeds of the saints. This verse goes hand in hand with the verses above.

One more comment (question lol) could the book be in a way symbolic of the books of genealogies? Like when the exiles returned from Babylon in Ezra and Nehemiah, they looked through the genealogies and some were not allowed to serve because there was no record of them of "where they came from." So they were considered "unclean." I've always made that connection but haven't heard too many make it so I don't speak on it too much.

Revelation 21 6 And he said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. To the thirsty I will give from the spring of the water of life without payment. 7 The one who conquers will have this heritage, and I will be his God and he will be my son.
Elections always dealt with the covenant people. The Potter had the right to bless or curse the clay according to His purpose and covenant. Even electing certain gentiles to establish and reveal the mystery and bring about jealousy to draw cut off branches back in.
Zechariah 13:8-9 shows His election unto life or death, blessing and curse in the last days.
Now God is open to any all who are thirsty, WITOUT PRICE, and want to take on the challenge of overcoming(Comes with a price/fight), and honoring God to inherit as a son and not be judged guilty or not guilty in a court of judgment.
Sovereignty is not determinism, but the one who ultimately Judges according to His ultimate truth that can’t be altered. If determinism were true, and ultimately that’s what Calvinism is,(was in it and argued for it for years until I understood covenant and preterism) there would be no need for judgement for the life anyone lives. There would be no need for the call to overcome, because He Has already determined you will overcome. We’ve been given everything pertaining unto life and death. What you do with it daily is the beautiful choice of life we have been given.
Sovereign over ultimate truth, vs Sovereign over everyone’s choice are 2 majorly different things.

    Blotting out names…
I might connect Revelation 3:5 to Deuteronomy 32:5. Notice H3971 “mum” - blemish, which is not apparent in some translations. In Dt. 32:5 the blemishes are “no longer his sons,” effectively wiped out of this book of law, which is the WORD of God, which John 1 tells us is the LIFE of men.
Thus, BLOTTED from the book of LIFE.
Dt. 32:5 is then easily connected to blots & blemishes of 2 Peter 2:13’s blemishes, Jude 12’s blemishes, and shepherds that feed only themselves, bringing Jeremiah 23 to mind, a Messianic and 2nd Exodus passage... surprise, surprise…. But I digress…
The few faithful in Sardis are being assured they will not to perish with the blemished Sons of Disobedience, the wicked generation, prophesied about in Dt. that God is about to blot out.
Random thought on these blemishes: They cannot serve as a living sacrifice as Paul implores in Romans 12, because the law prohibits sacrificial animals with blemishes. (Lev. 22:21)
“Purge the evil from among you” suddenly comes to mind. The blemishes! Okay, I’m stopping there…

Understanding of the book of life meaning
Should not you have stayed with the Marriage Motif
In Matthew 22, verse 11, speaks to the one without the marriage garment and he was cast out into outer darkness
This would stand more with your exposition that you were discussing and especially all the material that was presented on the marriage motif

    Adam's death is exile.
All in Cyrus Christ are made alive.
1 Corinthians 15:22 NASB20 - For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive.
Isaiah 45:13 NASB20 - “I have stirred him in righteousness,
And I will make all his ways smooth.
He will build My city and let My exiles go free,
    Without any payment or reward,”
    says the LORD of armies.

Happy happy New Years to everyone, and thank you very much for all your diligent works gentlemen.
Can i ask that you please review this idea, if it's biblically sound, my Peers!
Lord help me, i think i can clarify why it's an erroneous question to ask "can you lose your salvation?". No one has ever lost their salvation, ever. This is why, the old covenant (OC) was a covenant of works and salvation came through Christ in judgment in AD70, Christ in the new covenant (NC) fulfilled the old covenant. We find in Ezekiel 33:14 ff, also in Ezekiel 18:21 -22, 24 "But if a wicked person TURNS AWAY from all his sins that he has committed and keeps all my statutes and does what is just and right, he shall surely live; he shall not die. 22 None of the transgressions that he has committed shall be remembered against him; for the righteousness that he has done he shall live. 24 But when a righteous person TURNS AWAY from his righteousness and does injustice and does the same abominations that the wicked person does, shall he live? None of the righteous deeds that he has done shall be remembered; for the treachery of which he is guilty and the sin he has committed, for them he shall die." THERE IT IS!!!
The idea of "turning away" is where the so-called "lose his salvation" idea comes from, but it has not been adjudicated yet... he is not saved yet, he is waiting in Hades, he will be judged on his works, which only comes in AD70 when his verdict will be determined. He was never saved, he never lost anything. But his acts of righteousness will count for nothing if he "turns away" and does evil. You see it! This is not applicable in the new covenant.
Ezekiel teaches how they could "turn away" (lose their salvation, which he has not earned yet) from works of righteousness and be saved at the judgment of the old covenant Israel (the body of the dead ones, the OC body, the lowly body, body singular in original text, see Philippians 3:21). This law/concept is NOT applicable in the new covenant, because in the NC God is the Author and Finisher of our faith/salvation. Nothing can pull us away from the love of God (Romans 8:35). It seems the law of the OC, covenant of works, which a man becomes righteous and then unrighteous (transgressor) to be judged at the end of the age only applies to the OC Israelites. So in the OC, you could act one way and then act another way, offer acceptable sacrifices and be righteous again. That's not how it "works" in the New Covenant. The issue seems to be in the 40 years transition period when both covenants overlapped, after the resurrection, during the Millennium, the second exodus, some Jews believed in Christ and were saved at that time, namely before the judgment. During this time, many were simply followers of Christ, those who loved Christ' teachings and tasted of the good things of the Spirit, but obviously "were not of us", meaning they were not believers. The type who does not accept our Lord as their God and Savior. They look the part, because they learn from Christ but are not believers. THOSE, they are the ones who "turn away" like Ezekiel said. Backsliding and turning away is a typical characteristic of the old covenant way. Therefore, everyone who has ever believed in Christ as their Lord and Savior has never ever lost their salvation, it's not covenantally possible. We got in because of the Father's gift to His Son, Christ's purchase sealed the deal, nothing can take that away from God and His Christ, nothing, no one can turn away. I know the stories of the "fallen pastors" and the rest of the horror stories of the so-called believer who played the part very well, then "turned away" but they did not belong to us (1 John 2:19). They played the part and rejected the Light.
We are misapplying the laws of the covenants in the 40 year overlap and confusing the laws, putting the new wine in the old skins, that's a no!-no!
So, in the OC, men turned one way and then turned another way, just like after the Exodus in the wilderness, they did not keep faith, rather turned to the gods of Egypt, but in the NC it's by God's grace and Christ obedience to fulfill the Mosaic Law by which He has purchased the redemption for His glorious body (Philippians 3:21), namely the church that men were giving His Righteousness to our sin-debt account. NOT by works but by faith alone in Christ alone, this God-man who alone saves men.
1 John 5:1 Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ has been born of God, and everyone who loves the Father also loves those born of Him.
God gives life and God does not make mistakes and does not take it away.

John 2 3 : "And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, "They have "NO MORE" wine"."
Matthew 2 18 : "In Rama was there a voice heard, lamentation, and weeping, and great mourning, Rachel weeping for her children, and would not be comforted, because they are "NO MORE"."
Matthew 1 25 : "And knew her "NO MORE" till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name "Yeshua"."
... sounds better to you now ? I wonder how some could go still by their mind about that then ...☺

I don’t like it when others misrepresent you guys so that they can be dismissive of anything you have to say. But in this video you flagrantly misrepresent arminian / charismatics, and are totally dismissive of the gifts of the Spirit - even though there is woefully weak defense of cessationism. If only charismatics could learn from what you have uncovered, and you could learn from what we have uncovered.

If the second coming has happened then the charismatic gifts have ceased. That is the only logical conclusion in 1 Corinthians 13
