I think the answer is…I believe in everything - but the only thing I fixate on is relationships. “Welcome to my Planet” - much like every other song I’ve ever written - is about a relationship. But it contains some cool facts about the universe. So that’s neat.
There are alot of cool facts about the Universe. God definitely created it, there must have been a Mind from which information comes. And God wants a relationship with us. It is His planet. And He did create demons, and angels who are aliens. And we can choose to live in relationship with God because Jesus took care of our sin problem on the cross. Or, we can choose to live separate from God. God loves you and wants you in relationship with Him.
@@SomeRandomAustralian How do you know that know one knows for sure? There are many ways to learn about God. We can seek Him logically, and we can seek Him by experience. And sometimes we find Him when we weren't seeking at all. The Bible claims to reveal Him. But you are right that we may not know 100%. It's possible that aliens put all our memories in our heads yesterday, like in the Matrix. However, there is no evidence that that is the case. If we follow the evidence, Jesus is at the end. He is Truth.
Dang I’m gonna be an unpopular person rn but, imo everything in these shorts always sound better then what is actually released. I LOVE; the music in these shorts. Nuclear kittens for example, sounded so cool but after mixing and things I couldn’t get down with the song. Talented ass musicians though you guys do jam hard. Natalie (idk if that’s spelt right my bad) can also write really cool songs as well, she’s a great lyricist.
After this comment I had to check the full videos and . . . I have no clue what yall talking about. No disrespect I just really love the finish products as well 🤷🏾♂️
Your Music is Out of this planet ... This is not only Music - this is a inspiration... And the Shorts Here are great. Love from Germany... Please Play in Germany some day...
Could be a song about a baby being born. Switchfoot’s Dare You to Move has a similar line with “Welcome to the Planet. Welcome to Existence”. It has been confirmed about a different topic, as the lead singer said as much, in detail, in an interview, but I originally interpreted the song as a message to his newborn child. It felt like those would be good starting lyrics for a song for a newborn.
Come with me and you'll be In a world of pure imagination Reach out, touch what was once Just in your imagination Don't be shy, it's alright If you feel a little trepidation Sometimes these things don't need Explanation
But like... If it was a cloaking shield... How do you know it was an alien? And not a human? Not being sarcastic btw I've experienced something cloaked too. Or..... smeared? Rubbed out? Idk.
One asks do u believe..? qui answers.. idk.. the verbe is to believe but not to know.. if someone asks do u fly ? and u answer i swim.. wtf ! hehehe ))
I may be stupid but I'm not sure about the last line of the lyrics. You're talking about space, planets, supernovas and then (imo) randomly you talk about making out with "you". Maybe it's my impression but I can't understand why many songs in English talk randomly about love and the loved person even if the theme of the song was completely another thing.

@@scottm4042I think it’s safe to say none of us know for sure but we sure like to pretend or convince ourselves we do.

Let me tell you that your voice is absolutely a big part of my universe ❤
So, more of a fan of making out on sofas with Jack or whoever, not making out with aliens. Thank you for clarifying!
I've seen a lot of your clips now, to my taste this has to be the coolest tune I've ve heard so far.
bro i was just thinking the same thing
Agreed. The melody is mad catchy and the bending guitar riff is sick
What a legendary guitar part, and a kickass song
The guitars sound like contained anger. Just waiting to unleash.
That bassist is everything thats good on this planet.
No clue how I landed here this morning but I love it and that bass tone is sending me into Euphoria with every listen ❤
Also, love when the musicians or engineers give the songwriter their interpretive commentary, my fave part of every session or rehearsal, for sure 🤌🏻
Cool bass lines!

Yeah, I felt the same way about Angelique.
This is a very common opinion: they are social media geniuses but a just a regular band

Im gonna agree too. They've also progressed soooo much over the years. The key this song is in. The minor chords. I love.
I love this song, been playing on repeat.
Cool song!
The instrumental part reminded me of Daylight by Coldplay
Vastness of the universe to the intimacy on our couch…I love you to there and back.
The minor chords. Clearly one of my faves. Please tell me where you got the threads. I would wear nothing else.

Pun intended?
Nat writing a song about dating an alien 😂
Excellent lyrics 🤩
Kickass bass player
The lyrics are beautiful ❤
We're just stardust trying to grasp our existence
I just love it
Immediately I was like woahhh this works and feels so cool! Its dark, confused, and existential
If it were about aliens, then "making out on sofas with you" would be too, wouldn't it? Making out with aliens?
don't knock it 'til you've tried it
@@RC-1290 Hi Captain Kirk
Just now realizing it's "this unending expansion", not "the sun-ending expansion"
Please keep it with a liz phair grunge feel. The guitar and bass are on point
You're so edgy, bro.
Remind me of something that B'52s would do. Love if
Aliens brought me here to this video 👽👾
Ouh ouh!!
Clever
Looking at the thumbnail, I thought Nataly was holding some kind of giant EWI but it turns out it was just the microphone.
You should put the song name of song in shorts as tags if u can it would make it easier to find the clips I wanna show my friends
Yeah, or maybe the reply feature might work well for that.

She'd want to make out on sofas with the baby ("you")?
I have a piece of art titled "Chocolate Vanilla Supernova"
Come with me and you'll be
In a world of pure imagination
Reach out, touch what was once
Just in your imagination
Don't be shy, it's alright
If you feel a little trepidation
Sometimes these things don't need
Explanation
I once saw an alien use a cloaking shield. I’ve never seen anything else unusual in my life.
But like... If it was a cloaking shield... How do you know it was an alien? And not a human? Not being sarcastic btw I've experienced something cloaked too. Or..... smeared? Rubbed out? Idk.
Ah gawd "rubbed out" ha ha ha ha
✝️💙🌈 Believe ✨
Mega!

Oof
Of course you believe in aliens, and you did write this song for them… you just don’t realize it yet.
All we need to say don't understand, honestly simply. Just because that's the truth.
I'm hearing heavy (accidental?) influence from "God put a smile upon your face" by Coldplay, both of them are cool songs

There needs to be a podcast solely dedicated to the bassist (I’m sorry I don’t know her name) and Nataly breaking down Pomplamoose songs.
This sounds like a real banger
Every new Pomlamoose video I see I understand on a deeper level just how bad her lyrics are and I can’t stop
Yeahhhh!
I personally believe in the aliens interpretation, it's funny
Guy on keys knows it's a bit.... Great 🙄
Meh
i dont like it this time
Sounds pretty basic...just play the 4 basic chords...
The guitars sound great. The vocals were not it
This chick sings like a mouse
