If you are taking your HP PROBOOK 6560B laptop apart be careful and wear an anti-static wrist band or use other anti-static device. If you need to change a LCD usually you don't have to take screen out of a laptop. You can leave it on a laptop and watch the last part of the video where I am taking LCD apart. If you need to change a keyboard, you don't have to take all bottom screws out. There are usually some marks, like a keyboard picture, on a case bottom. If you need to put a laptop back to work be aware of screws. They are different and you better remember or mark them somehow to insure that you will put them back in to a right place.
Some laptops I take apart first time, so don't be serious on my time and performance.
If something got broken - ooops, it's your fault.
Believe me, some parts in your laptop are already broken, you just don't see that.
This video is like insurance for your laptop. With this video and some skills you will be always sure that at least you can try to repair your laptop. If it's broken you don't have to sell it or throw it away. You can find some new or used parts somewhere and change it. It maybe will be your new job or hobby. And if it didn't worked out you still will be able to ask somebody else to fix it.
So, just watch this video and fix your laptop.

I would just like to say thank you for posting all of these disassembly videos. You have the best ones out there. THANK YOU for not having chessy music or trying to narrate the video. I work in IT and we support 100+ laptops spanning every make and model of HP laptops out there and I have yet to find a model that you haven't taken apart. You are a lifesaver!

Hey where did you buy the plug bc every time I press the power button the led shows orange and won’t turn on. I know it’s not the battery but feel like it’s the pier blue because I bought an extra charger and it still wouldn’t work.
@@Fatimavanilla Take your battery out and in about 8-10 times, I did it to mine and came to life. Hope that helps. Mine was bad/dirty connections.
Thanks for video my laptop fan started making noise and then stopped. Watched this video was able to take fan out and realized it was full of gunk. Cleaned it and is working fine.

This video would also work with the HP ProBook 6570b since it uses the same casing as the 6560b.

Just an Fyi guys, you can reuse the screen from a hp probook 6550b or a 6560b and install it in a 6570b or vise versa. they're interchangeable and will give you the same resolution quality. all size fits any of the three series.

Thank you very much! With this video I was able to see if it is possible to change the min 13:00 part (the power supply connector - for the "jack"). After I saw your video I bought the part and change it folowing the most of these steps, without removing the radiator, only the fan (luckly for me, it wasn't necessary in my case because I didn't had that paste after) and without involving the LCD either. And I didn't broke it !

Some of the screws that required to remove the back are not phillips head screws, they appear to be star or six pointed star screws, which screw driver did you use to remove the screws?

Luigi - you can only get a 1366 x 768 maxed resolution for the following models...6550b-6560b and 6570b. yeah I know, sucks.

My Probook 6460b's motherboard died. The motherboards don't cost much, around 40 dollars. I'm looking to replace it. The only problem is there isn't a video tutorial on the specific model of the Probook 6460b. I'm sure this video is a similar disassemble, however it's not exactly the same.

Thanks for the video. It really helped me a lot. I notice that there four antennas, 2 for wifi and then theres other 2 that is not plugged in. The red and blue one enclose in some sort of shrink wrap. Do you have any idea what those 2 are for?

I don't have a lot of emachines. Only one :) haha, so, there can be a problem. A few Alienware.
If you will not find something, just ask via comments - it can be slight chance I will have it but not online yet.
If I do have it, it can take a few days to appear (not all the time I can do that and it need about 2-3 hours to edit/render/upload)

thanks for replying i had opened my hp probook 6560b but accidentaly removed my whole latch slider and regulary when i used to open the latch i would have to hold it until it opens and when i let go of the silever thing ontop of the laptop screen it would go back into place but know it stucks there so i was wondering if you could help me maybe i placed the latch plastic badly

You now............. an anti-static wrist-band without being connected to a wire grounded to the chassis achieves the same thing wearing a clown hat. It will accomplish nothing to wear this way, in all seriousness. Why wear the bracelet or point it out if you don't understand how static prevention works?
