I just got Pete's book that gives a lot of insight into Pete dilemma to transition careers. Toward the end of his architect career he wanted to do more with natural settings and he may have built the second "Fallingwater" house. I glad things have worked out going against conventual wisdom.
Good morning, Pete and Hilarie! I'm sure you realize you've been showing us new tasks and projects the whole time. With RUclips and before. Even in grazing management, it's always been something new to you and most of us. That's why we watch you. And thanks for that!
Your infectious, quirky personality keeps us coming back. The new projects keep us interested. So, however, you decide which direction the channel goes, we'll be here. Thank you so much for taking the time to make these videos that we all enjoy so much. Best wishes to Hillary and the family. 😊
Yes, project videos will, at least to me, be interesting. I subscribe to several ag. channels, but as farming tends to be an annual repetition of tasks, I find that ag. RUclipsrs who include one-off projects are more interesting.
Pete I wanted to let you know that was the most informative fence creation tutorial that I enjoyed. Thanks for showing how the tools work. Projects are your art form keep having fun at it. The Winter pasture looks really great!
You must be proud to have such a good wife and life partner. You are very blessed. Always look forward to your videos. Thank you for sharing. God bless.
Im excited to see the restored tractor back in use ... I watch a farm channel out of Wisconsin & they use that very tractor every day since the family bought it new .. I like seeing the 70/80 yr old tractors still on the job. They were built to last a lifetime .. Nothing built today last 75 yrs on thd farm...
I m 83 and still learning, Like we did not have the wire fencing like you have today, So many new things and easier to work with, Pete thank you for being a great teacher to all of us,
Pete your attitude is absolutely uplifting to me! Thank you for presenting a simpler life, always something to do! Keep it coming love it ! The issue for myself is your presentation is good for all of us that desire a goal! Thank you very much!
Pete, you're full of wise words of wisdom, and I thank you for sharing them with us. I like your jokes too, even though that one was so bad Ezra flipped her tail in front of your mouth so you wouldn't tell another. :) Hil's comments are good for a smile too. Looking forward to your heating install as well. Be safe and stay warm.
Thanks Pete. Many of us I’m sure will tune in to watch you do anything! I hope we will still be able to wonder round the farm with you doing daily chores too. Patty is famous as you! Enjoy the rest of your Sunday also!
I think your just naturally A very intelligent person and have the knack of learning new things easier that other people I believe some people are just born this way.
Thank you so much for all the wonderful video, Pete and Hillary. I really appreciate and enjoy them all. I always look forward to watching them. God bless.
Yes I'm ready for the ride!! I found your (I think 3rd video) and enjoyed it and went back and watched the first ones, so I've been on this ride from the start, and always enjoyed them. I can't wait to see the truck rebuild.
One of the best parts of RUclips is, when you have a project such as the International you speak of, there is probably someone somewhere that has parts for that thing. RUclips can be a great asset for such things. Many blessings! Thank You for all the videos.
Good morning Pete. No doubt about it, you are the best RUclips channel available today. Not only for a good work ethic but Life advice. Your closing remarks are something that everyone should strive for especially our younger generation. I've seen you despondent on some of your videos but you always work through them and continue to stay positive. Keep up the good work and educational videos
Something very relaxing (and educational) about these videos -in particular this fencing one… can’t help but think of time mending fencing with my dad and grandpa, who have both passed, but the memories live on!
YASS - I am here for the discrete projects. Long term ones are good too. I especially enjoy the projects that will help you guys as you slow down, since I am in the slowing down phase myself.
I treasure the wholesome content in our current world of chaos Pete, it is my place to detox and enjoy life in a deliberate way along side nature with you as our guide. Learning new things or different ways to accomplish old problems never gets old, so thanks! I look forward to meeting at the market one day. 😊
I represented a large professional association of physicians. No medical services were provided. Other needs of the physician members were our area. In this part of my career, I came in contact with almost all of the medical specialties. The general surgeons would, somewhat light heartedly, talk of their education, “See one, do one, teach one.” However, general surgery was a four year program that was intensive and closely supervised. What the saying I provided was what reminds me of your style for the channel, see one, do one, and teach one. Your channel is interesting, entertaining, and educational. Challenges made and met. You and Hillary are a great team. My wife and I will follow whoever your projects lead you.
I find your perspectives very interesting. I grew up on a 100+ acre farm in PA, but went a different direction as an adult. Many memories are recalled as I watch your activities. Please keep the videos coming. All the best !
Well now Pete. I think your "Words of Wisdom" are absolutely the best part of what you share here. From Architecture School to the farm (Those Rib Eye Steaks!) to the Truck rebuild and beyond. I agree. It is absolutely the "Beyond" part that counts. I so get it there Pete. I think yea, I'll show up someday with a marker and have you sign one of those Rib Eye Steaks.〰So I can keep it in my freezer as a memento from the Just a Few Acre Farm. Oh yea ! 〰✨🌿👍🌿✨〰. New Hampshire
I have a 23 year old son who is a problem solver. He is amazing...and can do anything if he wants to. If someone tells him "he can't do it", his answer is "CHALLENGE ACCEPTED!" You remind me a lot of that kind of guy. When someone tells you you can't, you make sure you can! Thanks for another awesome video, Pete...Love seeing Hillary...and until next time!😁
I look forward to each segment!. I've learned so much about farming. The last few minutes really hit home. Viewing your show helped me through 2 heart surgeries, covid, and life altering cancer surgery. All in the last 18 months. Im so interested in your life journey and Hillary too. Watching an ICU nurse and an Architect take on the challenges of a farm (pigs) has been fascinating on so many levels. I have truly enjoyed going along side both of you. Love all the drone stuff. Thanks for commenting on the weather in your neck of the woods..looking forward to the next video.
I really enjoyed this video. So much of farming is fencing and storage. All those broiler chickens you raised and you’re down to just a few left in your freezer. The fence repair arcana of tools and gadgets were satisfying to learn. Gorgeous day. Since I’m in Massachusetts, it didn’t take imagination to experience a New England fall day. Fall is my second-favorite season after spring. There’s a sadness to it, but even the land as well as the animals and people need a rest. I also enjoyed your discussion of your evolving goals over your life, always looking for satisfying challenges. So much learned wisdom there. I’m so glad you and Hillary have each other.
I sold my business and retired sixteen years ago and the thing I miss most is the challenge. A challenge is a good thing to have. Thanks for sharing, you're always a pleasure.
Even in my retirement, I am still seeking new ways to do things. I never stop learning. To me that's what life is all about. as oyu stated new challenges, I have always sought them out like you and I credit a lot of them here because of you're approach to them and lots are new to me even at 81. I'm a classic example of "You're never too old to lean" thanks Hillary and Pete. you always make my day. God speed. ECF
That's a great direction for this channel. Not only for entertainment value, but the kind of projects you're talking about will often help the aspiring farmers that came to your channel for that as well. I know the winter pasture gave me some ideas about things I could do with a mini excavator once I get some property.
What a wonderful way to start my Sunday. Thank you Pete & Hillary. I enjoy all your videos, even fence repairs. I grew up in Ohio farm country. I did a lot of farm work as a kid. I'm 64 now, thank you for taking us along. 🇺🇸
We love you Pete and Hillary. It is your voice and your wisdom. Whatever you share with us is great. We learn so much even in the mundane stuff. God bless you both
Every project you and Hillary undertake are so rewarding, you both are amazing people. I enjoy all of the videos you do for your RUclips fans. All of them are Ausgezeichnet.
I didn’t think it was a bad riddle at all. My 15 year old grandson and almost 17 year old granddaughter love the riddles and jokes from you that I send on. I don’t drive much anymore and they live quite away from us and their whole family is busy that means in this instance for me the internet is a good sen. thanks Pete. You’re the best!
Hi Pete, Long time viewer here. Loved this autumn 🍁 video. I could smell the earth, hear the cows, and glory in the colors of the trees. I think the idea of taking us along as you tackle your discrete projects is a great one for the future. We'll all be there with you and Hillary! Thanks for tightening the wires and letting us breathe in the cool air of fall🍂!
Your Woven fence repair has been very interesting. I have never seen those little splicers. Thank you. I enjoy watching you work and how you treat your animals ❤
Just want to tell you that I really appreciate your videos. I always look forward to them. I'm a retired teacher living in Florida-never lived or worked on a farm. I am project-oriented like you so I am living the country life vicariously through you. I appreciate the thoughtful format you follow and the musing you give us each week. I hope your channel continues to grow and we get to stay lucky being able to view them each week. Thanks!
Horse playing bulls that are outstanding in their field, screwy insulators....I think you're running some sort of a funny farm over there. At least Ezra has a healthy opinion of the jokes, if the part of his anatomy he displayed is any indication. 😂 Definitely staying here with you, Pete. You're one of the most profound and inspiring people I know of.
This is perfect timing to finish projects going into winter. You have done so many things to improve the farm. I have enjoyed watching and learning from you and Hillary. Thank you for sharing your adventures!❤
We seem to think a lot alike as far as doing projects to the best ability, as my grandfather said "Proper Instead of fast!". So many times folks rush to end things without taking the time or pride to "do it right". Every video I learn something from you and your family. Thanks for all you do!
I loved watching you fix the fences with your nifty splicing tool. That was slicker than frog snot. 🐸🐸So many interesting tools for use and loved your real-life demonstration on how to use them. Had electric fences years ago to keep horses from rubbing the fences, and it only took one time to respect that single wire. Happy Sunday from Arizona!
Your videos always leave me with a sense of peace and calm in a very hectic and troubled time! Thanks Pete and Hillary for sharing this with us!
Perfectly said
Agreed perfectly said love Pete& Hillary
The story of architect school explains a lot about you, Pete. Your intelligence and persistence is shining through. Keep on doing, I enjoy watching.
You can say that again! Hey, I just did! 😊
Your infectious, quirky personality keeps us coming back. The new projects keep us interested. So, however, you decide which direction the channel goes, we'll be here. Thank you so much for taking the time to make these videos that we all enjoy so much. Best wishes to Hillary and the family. 😊
Pete and Hillary, thank you for taking us along. We need this kind of peace and quiet.
Your videos are Chicken Soup for the Soul, Pete!
Well said and you also made me hungry!
Pete thanks for taking the time to make these videos. They bring such joy and peace to me.❤
I love watching you and your wife working together. She's quiet as she goes about it but makes a great life partner. G'day from Oz
Yes, project videos will, at least to me, be interesting. I subscribe to several ag. channels, but as farming tends to be an annual repetition of tasks, I find that ag. RUclipsrs who include one-off projects are more interesting.
My favorite zen saying is “The obstacle is the path”. 😂
Pete, seeing Ezra on your shoulder made my day. I hope he's doing well.
There is so much tension in this video 😄
The best way to start my week. On a 45 acre farm in New York. Makes perfect sense. Here we go!!
I think 465k subscribers and heading quickly to 1/2 a million proves you are achieving a lot and we love it. Fabulous and thought provoking as always.
Maintaining fence is a never ending job. I like your search for better fence products.
Always like spending time in the mornings with you and Hillary . Thank you Pete.
Pete I wanted to let you know that was the most informative fence creation tutorial that I enjoyed. Thanks for showing how the tools work. Projects are your art form keep having fun at it. The Winter pasture looks really great!
Great comments Pete - You are wired for success.
Ha ha. Good one.

Yes! Goals are important. The even tempered way that you approach them is so enjoyable to watch. I think Patty is simply saying, You go Pete.
I m 83 and still learning, Like we did not have the wire fencing like you have today, So many new things and easier to work with, Pete thank you for being a great teacher to all of us,
It’s fascinating to watch the seasonal preparations on the farm. 🇿🇦

Thanks for doing more “unconventional things”. It keeps things interesting
I love when it is a Hilary and Pete episode!

Hard work is your middle name. Hillary is always up to help make it happen. Good going sir

Always a pleasure to watch, Pete! Cheers from an Ontario neighbour.
Love watching your videos Pete & Hillary. Hope you keep going. It's soothing for the soul to watch in amongst all the mayhem.
Loved helping you fix fences today.
I loved watching you fix the fences with your nifty splicing tool. That was slicker than frog snot. 🐸🐸So many interesting tools for use and loved your real-life demonstration on how to use them.
