Mark Shelly Aquatics I’ll be honest, keep doing exactly what you been doing showing those shrimp and talking about them, you might want to try a live stream, where people can ask questions about them, or just a general discussion. Hell you are killing it mark! It’s a great recipe for success 🙂👍🏻💯⭐️
Live stream is something I have thought about doing, heck still need to do my 4k sub live stream lol. Most the live streams I have done are fun and end up being ok. Just a bit uncomfortable doing them being a private and shy person, but the few I do have been good. But yeah, thought about helping folks on live streams and that would give me ideas for videos. Still figuring it all out and trying to play the youtube game.
Mark Shelly Aquatics yes same here, I’m a shy as heck lol! I’ve never tried a livestream yet… I might for maybe 500 subs special, if I ever make it that far🤣
This video is where I get a little confused about my orange shrimp. Yours are more a orange/red Mine are more a orange/yellow. I guess its a matter of preference? For cheap shrimp mine seem to breed pretty true (3generations no wild culls) also about 50% have racing stripe. I did see one breeder had sunkist and pumpkin varieties of orange. What is your opinion on oranges are darker better or just diff variety. Also about racing stripe, I saw some of your greens have yellow stripe which i kinda like.
The darker ones are more of a higher grade. I bought these as orange sakura years ago. Like lots of other neo color varieties orange shrimp are sold by lots of different names. Sunkist, pumpkin, orange sakura, and whatever people come up with to try and sale. Usually the lighter lower grades are sold as pumpkin and the higher ones are sunkist or orange sakura. But as far as I know there isn't really any set guidelines when it comes to orange shrimp grades, just the darker and less see through the higher the grade. So I just sale mine as orange neos.
I haven't, I actually don't have any rili lines, and these oranges produce very very few rilis. But I do get orange rilis that pop up in my skittles tank.
Not necessarily, back stripe just kinda happens in many lines, doesn't really make them better or worse. Some lines is desireable, some lines its not. Generally the best fire reds don't have the back stripe, but for me its a personal preference. Green jades are considered higher grade without the yellow back stripe. Just depends
@@MarkShellyAquatics It’s looks awesome! Catching shrimp is easy with whatever net, but having it keep that rigid form would be amazing for getting them out.
I like those oranges!, enjoyed every bit of this video man!!🙂👍🏻
Thanks man, biggest struggle I am having is coming up with video topics that are worth watching and interesting lol.
Thanks for watching 👍

How do u get rid of a bacteria infection n shrimp where it makes the insides look like milk
I have not had that problem. But treated some new shrimp with kannaplex which is an antibiotic
Did you ever got an orange rili out of your colony and breed them to your own rili line?
I haven't, I actually don't have any rili lines, and these oranges produce very very few rilis. But I do get orange rilis that pop up in my skittles tank.
My red shrimp have a dark mark down the spine of their back..fire reds?

4k quality is nice!
Thanks 😊
4k 60 frames per second even 👍 makes for HUGE file sizes and pushes my device to the max when editing lol
Yes I learned! Great informative vid
Thank you Vio👍😁👋
What net do you use? Mine always seem to be collapsing on themselves and whatever I’m netting.
Man I dont even know, think I got it on Amazon years ago. Always used that same net.

@@kirbywilcox7950 they are called 3d shrimp nets. Its the style of net. Just type in 3d shrimp net on amazon and you'll have all kinds of choices
@@MarkShellyAquatics Appreciate it!
Bro can mix breed of Red cherry shrimp and Golden back yellow shirmp..
I dont think it would be worth it.
Mark, what substrate do you use?
Most tanks have black diamond blasting sand
